  1. Maybe because it's not wrong for people to post WIP's which it was when tj sampled it and then he posted a final. If you haven't noticed many people post WIP topics and then post a final topic.
  2. Just telling you if you plan on using it here mate, gonna have to cut it down by 100px. Currently it's 400x100, and our limits here are 300x150. So you're height is ok, just you're width is obviously do large.
  3. That quote made my day, thanks Sipperiku. In my opinion, no matter how good your sigs are, you can't think you have the right to keep posting them over and over. And you can't call anybody an idiot just because he has done that. He posted it twice, once was a sampled version and the other now is unsampled with changes made. It's the same thing as someone posting "Doing an WIP" and everyone posting there, then once they finish it, reposting it to get final thoughts. Nothing wrong with that. It's basically the same thing, as TJ was still perfecting it.
  4. Well, honestly, well generally people do suck up to people with actual talent. So I do not see the problem in that. As TJ is one of my best friends from TIF, he quite generally is a great guy. So need not judge before actually getting to know him. As for posting a topic twice, then why isn't it wrong for people who post a WIP up until it's finished and then make a new topic for there finished product?
  5. Dithering mate, dithering. If you want some help with the Nightmare Before X-Mas BG I'll be more than happy to. Just lemme know.
  6. I don't think he's leaning forward just squating down if i'm not mistaken, and it looks like that by the bend in his legs. Also it depends where you play golf if the flag is stiff as cardboard of fluttering, I've played on both. Then I do agree about the hand it seems as if you've revealed to much of the palm of his hand. Regardless you got my thoughts on MSN, it's awesome. And I like that you filled up the sky. :P
  7. What the hell is a peeps? Very nice. The background is probably the best I've seen in a pixel before. Very excellent. 10/10 on the background. Peeps = People. Lol. And thank you. Technically the character should be all black since the moon is behind him but he's not on earth and this planet has 2 moons :P
  8. Did the BG, and if you're wondering. Was majorily inspired by various space scenes of Nadril and Van Gogh's "Starry Night" piece. So peeps what you think?
  9. Yes well I got to the topic pretty late and my "blazing" internet took a very long time to make the post that is why I missed most the topic. But apparentlyt he large ripples in his stomach that you may call "abs" look as if his fat is trying to push out of the armour.
  10. So that guy looks fat? You absolutely make no sense. The guy does indeed look chunky, there's no denying it. You just needs to make the torso longer and not so short.
  11. Alright, I'll edit my post and make a list of people who want instructions. Thanks for your comments, keep them comming, also, if you'd like instructions add that in your post :P
  12. This is just your basic photo right? Well yeah it is lol. You were waiting for the catch but there is only a slight one. I made a camera out of a shoe box, just with a piece of aluminum and a pin to poke a hole with using my finger as the shutter. Spray painted the inside black just to make sure it was light tight and went outside and just took a picture of the fence. Exposure time was about 45 seconds, so you can't take moving pictures. It does make for an interesting effect though. I did obviously do a tiny bit of post photoshop, just threw a color balance on it just to give it some interesting color. Also the border, and that's it. I'm writing up full instructions on how to make one, development of the picture, and turning the negative into a print. If you'd like a set of these instructions, let me know and I'll be more than happy to send on a copy; since Keiphus has already asked. List of people who want instructions: -Peter -MrsChrystler -Keiphus -Susta99 -J272 -CommandoSGT -How2pk -Nuzza -Hypnotic_monkey -Jabraulter -APERSON -GonandGary -Punc -WeeBoab -Quer-skulll -Ratherbeskatin
  13. I did a Jimi pixel before, if I can find it then I'll post it... lol.
  14. Lovely job ripping MXM's work, and I'm sure it's ripped, he's confirmed it himself. Wonderful job.
  15. Or maybe it's my intelligence is far superior to your mental inanity complex that I just can't understand you. I don't know, sheer ignorance has never struck off as an appealing trait. OT: I do find this an interesting piece, might have been a bit better if you hadn't used the leaf, I don't know why but I just don't like it personally. Mind you I said personally, but you did a decent job. Keep it up and keep trying.
  16. And i'm thinking to myself, trying to find an excuse for you. You do not need to be so rude, some people are very slow at learning and just need a huge helping hand as Terley has just provided (hell it even helped me a little). You need to take a step back and realize, you're not the greatest Paw; you're far from it. He's probably just very confused on wear to start and is simply amazed by the fact that some people can get such amazing results using such a low grade program. As for advice, sorry I never replied I've had a busy couple of days and I was hoping to get back to you. The advice Terley gave you is the best anyone could give. Though as for me.... I can't start a sig unless I have a very clear idea and how I want it to end up. A lot of the time I'll throw doodles down on paper as a type of roadmap and just look off of those and transfer them on the computer. Nothing more to really say, don't ask me about shading lol. I've been doing this for a while and I still struggle so that's nothing I can help you with. But if you need help with shading you might wanna try http://www.spriteart.com it gives tips on manual anti-aliasing and lighting. It helps a lot. Nothing more I can really do to help, except keep practicing and make it fun for yourself. Do stuff you like.
  17. What the hell? Honestly, what're you talking about? Is there any nice of a way to say that they look mis-shaded and demented? I'm not going to coo over it and pull down his pants to kiss his wagon. What else can I say? It's the only problem I found with it, now don't be so ignorant. I was being nice, I didn't make a discrediting post like some people would saying "the eyes suck." I explained myself saying they are mis-shaded and look demented. So basically, it's your turn to step back and sit this one out and let the big boys handle it. Since you have no clue what you are talking about. You can ask just about anyone here, I'll give a helping hand in CC whenever asked and if I have to I'll even do it for them to show how it should be done. You do not know me like the rest of the forum, so basically, in turn what I am trying to say is, shut it.
  18. Regardless, it doesn't stop it from being bad. I suggest learning how to brush and maybe get C4D. Filters can be ok, when they're used correctly. Don't filter pile it up.

Nadril, i'd love to see you calculate how far a ball drops in 34.6643 seconds. i know a lot of people can't do this, but does that make it art? no. So was this even necessary in your opinion, or is it just to protect your feeling of superiority (i made up a word since i don't know the real word to fit there.) this is were he actually stood up for his opinion. Wouldn't it be just easier to state this, rather than trying to make my view on things look stupid, because they disagree with his? Well that would depend on the height you drop it from, the weight of the ball, and many other varying factors. Art can be anything, even that problem of the ball. Figuring out could be an art. So really it all depends on who's looking at it. They may take in the answer of your question as info or as art. It depends.
  20. What do you mean "people like you?" People that don't believe in Christ and God. Just because I choose not to believe in those things does not make me a bad person. I made those decisions for reason; and I stand by them. Which my reasoning does not concern you or will I disclose the information. Did you stop to think that I could find it offensive that you're trying to impose religious beliefs on me? I do find that offensive, you're violating my right to believe in or not to believe in what I feel is right. So you can have your views and beliefs and I'll have mine, so basically in short I'm saying, SHUT UP!
  21. Not like that was a shocker. Definitely have to split it into pixel, abstract, and what not next time.
  22. Water is very nice, or so I think... Problem I'm seeing is that your surface's lack any real texture.
  23. I find this probably the dumbest thing ever. It serves no purpose.

After working in Terregan for a little less than a day, it's a much more complicated process than what you have specified. You can't use a random generated terrain and expect it to look good. Much sculpting goes into this. I have a very new found respect for Nadril; even if it hasn't showed as of recently. You must try it. A good landscape cannot be achieved through your "random calculations and numbers." And yes Cal, lol it does have sliders. That made my day.
