I didn't think that Halo 2 was THAT bad. It was the people who played it online that I hated.

Halo 2 isn't fun to play online. It's filled with a bunch of [wagon]. I spend most of my time playing DOAU online. The community is much more laid-back and fun.

I think Revolutin sales will be slow at first since people are afraid of change, but will begin to sell alot more as time goes by. I doubt that it will win the war, but it might come close. I'm glad that another next-gen thread was made. The other ones just kinda died.

I'm waiting for Ninja Gaiden 2 before I buy a 360. The only game that looks good at this point is Dead or Alive 4. *edit* Btw, if you plan on playing Xbox games on the 360 don't get the core system. It won't be backwards compatible. Heck, don't even buy the core, it's just microsoft's excuse at making that $300 window that they promised at E3 at launch. Nah that was just my opinion on the most important war of all: Ninjas vs. Pirates. I have no idea why you think that, Sony sold over 80 million PS2s versus 22 million Xboxs and 18 million Gamecubes... This thread causes -99 INT. I just based that on the opinions of the people on the boards. Nobody seems to care about the PS3 controller. During G4s TGS coverage, they talked to a Sony representative who said they are working on a controller that they aren't ready to show yet. By that they mean "give us a few months so we can steal Nintendos' ideas". YOU CAUSE -99 INT!!!

I'd go with Mercifull on this one lol. I read about it myself a long time ago. *loads and aims at runesmithie* I admit they were running on Mac G5s at E3 but they haven't been for a long time now. The point remains the same though. The games were PLAYABLE!!! Has Nintendo even shown as much as a screenshot of a game for the Revolution? You != Everyone. Just because you don't like it doesnn't mean no one would. Besides, I so wanna try it out :o Geez! You don't have to attack him. He was just expressing his opinion. Doubt it. All PS3 controllers are wireless. It still is a gimmick because develpers just slap together a pile of crap and call it a game without even putting the touch screen to good use. The same thing will happen with the Revolution. They are both great ideas but aren't (and probably won't) be realized to their full potential. All that I'm saying is to not get your hopes up. Well, at least Nintendo did something different other than release some made up stats... Well you know what those companies are doing other than showing statistics, they're actually showing GAMES :shock: You mean... Computer-rendered ones? :shock: ! You're thinking of Sony. It's a shame that everybody(including Nintendo) is too concerned with the controller to show us any software. We haven't even seen any games for this system (exept NES, SNES and N64 games).

And also, I'm just pointing out to those of you that probably didn't notice, if you throw a ps3 controller the right way, it comes back :shock: It can also be used as a 2-way d!ldo for all of you l3sbos out there :D People please! umm... didn't Nintendo already bomb in the VR department? as I said before I hope the Rev does do good because I want to see some competition this time... not just Sony and MS going at it and Nintendo sitting on the sidelines....but I'm sure Nintendo will get going in this war... but I'm going with the 360 for XBOX Live and also Gears of War, RE5, and of course... Well now people without friends can find out what 2 player is like. Playing with bots in any game gets the same effect, so your point is... what? People who play with Nintendo products have no friends while MS and Sony fanboys do. I swear, the guy is pissing me off. My comment wasn't aimed at Nintendo fans (notice how I said people, not Nintendo fans).I love Nintendo as a matter of fact. They are the only company that is strictly devoted to games and doesn't have to rely on third party developers to deliver great games. I had no idea people would take that comment that way. Nothing is legit. Custom games are modder-paradise because you can't get a ban from unranked games.

Nintendo is just trying to make a comeback in the console wars, and who can blame em? this last console war Nintendo bombed because they didn't appeal to a wider audience, they were making games for children and barely any M rated games were on the GC, because we all know that people love violence, i run into like 20 different 7 year olds on xbox live everyday on halo 2, even if you look on the back of the game case down near "xbox live requirments" it says "Xbox Live is not intended for children under the age of 13, but parents these days are to worried about pleasing their children other then watching out for what their kids are playing and i know this is kind of off topic but I'll get back to Nintendo now, sorry, I'm not saying I hope the Nintendo fails this generation because it would be nice to see 3 consoles instead of 2 going at it this time around, but Nintendo better make sure that this "controller" better work or their going to have a hard time, but at this point my eyes are set on the X360. Actually, each system kinda bombed in different places. The GC had a tough time in America because children these days are only concerned with playing the "cool games" with drugs, violence, sex and "bad words". The Xbox didn't sell worth crap in Japan because it had nothing that appealed to the Japanese audience (basically, no drug induced games or games with wide-eyed children aimed towards petifiles). But here's another thing you should consider when looking at the Revolution: Third Party Games How the hell do you plan on playing Madden or any other third party game on the Revolution as smoothly as you do on the other consoles.
