  1. Just playing RS now because I can't do anything else while recovering from surgery. Used to play http://www.starkingdoms.com, a text game, but I quit.
  2. Yeah, but when he uses the term 'football', if you aren't completely insane, you'd obviously think it was English football, considering that English football is actually true to the term. Changing the title to 'handball' would be more appropriate. He said Chargers in his post, it it complete irate to think he's talking about soccer when he posts about a professional football team...
  3. Fletching was fun for me. Got lots of mazes, fast xp, etc. I did it before the "fletch x" option also, which I'm proud of.
  4. Who's the best soccer team in the world?
  5. The person who started this post obviously meant football by the teams he mentioned, no need to hijack his thread with soccer teams.. I like the Eagles and Steelers since I'm from PA :D
  6. This was dug up after 9-11, 28 years after it was written. It is very true that much of the world dumps on America but looks to America as a beacon of hope when things go wrong. Sure we in this country can be bullies, selfish, arogant and pushy but I have found that Americans have some of the the biggest hearts when others are in need. From http://www.snopes.com/politics/quotes/sinclair.asp The Americans Claim: Canadian radio commentator Gordon Sinclair delivered a stirring, pro-American editorial in 1973. Status: True. Example: [Collected on the Internet, 1999] Good reading, from a Toronto newspaper's editorial page! Widespread, but only partial news coverage was given recently to a remarkable editorial broadcast from Toronto by Gordon Sinclair, a Canadian television commentator. What follows is the full text of his trenchant remarks as printed in the Congressional Record: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as most generous and possibly the least appreciated people on all the earth. Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy were lifted out of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and forgave other billions in debts. None of these countries is today paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States. When the franc was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who propped it up, and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the streets of Paris. I was there. I saw it. When distant cities are hit by earthquakes, it is the United States that hurries in to help. This spring, 59 American communities were flattened by tornadoes. Nobody helped. The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars into discouraged countries. Now newspapers in those countries are writing about the decadent, warmongering Americans. I'd like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States Dollar build its own airplane. Does any other country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the Lockheed Tristar, or the Douglas DC-10? If so, why don't they fly them? Why do all the International lines except Russia fly American planes? Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or woman on the moon? You talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios. You talk about German technocracy, and you get automobiles. You talk about American technocracy, and you find men on the moon ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ã
  7. Make up your mind are you talking about football (Eagles, Steelers, etc), or soccer (Manchester U, etc)

    Gas Prices

6 bucks a gallon in Atlanta lol. The gas stations are making BIG BUCKS on this load of gas. I work at a gas station, the owner buys tanks of like 9,000 gallons at a time. He paid for this tank to make profit selling at 2.64, so he's making 35 cents EXTRA PROFIT every gallon. He deserves it though, they make hardly nothing on gas these days. It's 2.99 in NE PA, 3.29 at the Indians place.
  9. Biology 2 Cooking Advanced English I'm a senior. Last year I was homeschooled and pretty much completed all the classes I needed to graduate, hence I only have 3 classes this year. Last year I had Calculus, Physics, etc, so this year will be a breeze
  10. A few credit cards, and a few benjamins.
  11. 5-6 hours on weekdays and 10 hours of sleep on the weekends works fine for me. I rarely get sick, I'm in good shape from weightlifting, so how is it a poor life decision? Everyone's body is different. About the money issue, let's just say tip.it bans people from breaking RS rules, so I'll let that subject go. Comparing playing poker (a game), to selling drugs to kids making their lifes miserable, is a very bad analogy. I'm not sure if you think you're better than everyone because you quit RS? You've spent lots of time replying to this topic tonight, which is giving you NOTHING. I guess you are addicted to trying to make people stop having fun on an online game? If someone plays baseball 30 hours a week for fun, without pay, are they addicted? Who are you to say how someone should spend his or her time? I remember you posting a thread about 99 thieving, you obviously "wasted" a lot of hours of your precious life to thieve paladins? You should just worry about your own life, instead of telling others to quit playing games because they're "addicted", I think you're the one who needs a life.
  12. Pipalonias, did it ever occur to you that you could make money from Runescape, or were you not smart enough to do it? "You gain nothing from MMORPG's" - Tell that to the $1200 sitting in my room waiting to be spent on my first car. I'm 17, I've bought my own computer, my own tv, my own playstation, my own everything. I work part time, go out with friends, etc, and still find lots of time to play RS. Unlike most people, I only need around 5-6 hours a sleep a night, which gives me more time to play Runescape/Play poker online (making money, mind you), chatting to friends about what I'm going to do on the weekend, etc. I'm sorry that you "wasted" your time on Runescape. If you didn't have fun playing it, it's your fault. Lots of people have fun playing and talking to friends, and it's none of your business how long they spend doing it.
  13. Burger King, McDonald's, Taco Bell, fried foods (chicken wings, chicken fingers, fries, etc).
  14. Inverse crunches help a lot too. I feel the burn much more than any other exercise.
