Yeah, it's because as it reaches towards the bottom of her dress/kimono, there is two seperate materials/sections, hence the reason why it has two distinctively different tones. And if I were to finish it, her legs would've been placed in the middle., and since its not that's why it looks wierd. Thanks for the input. Well I decided to try and draw using just the mouse and 1 px tool at 30 opacity. Turned out pretty good, considering the medium and resources I was using :P . I really need to get a tablet. Anywho, I then did some brushing and shading here and there. This is probably not as detailed and as great as some of my real drawings, but I actually quite like it :). This is the original sketch Sktech And heres the coloured version, it's not really completed, and I don't really to intend to finish it either. Some parts are jaggy, like the hair and stuff, but just bypass that :) . I would also like some comments :D . edit: I was also experimenting with some stuff, and made my new sig \/ . You can also comment on that as well if you wish.

I think it's great that you didn't try to claim the pic as your own, like so many other people would do :? . Anyway, good job on the coloring and the time and effort that was put into it : ) .

Wicked sig Ryan & Nadril. If it was tid bit less blurry it would be awesome, you guys have got some nice textures and effects in the there. I personally don't like the typo though.

/\ If thats what I think it is +100 points for you :lol: . On another note: you should try to incorporate more colours to your sigs, it would make them alot better :) . They're pretty decent now, but they could be better.

The green one has some neat elements, however I think you should fade the scanlines more or remove it altogether. The Sakura sig is pretty plain, but it's got sakura ^_^ which gives it extra points. And the first sig is pretty cool on the right side, but then the quality just gets really bad as it heads towards the left. Perhaps you should work on the left abit more. Lastly you should combine the techniques that you learned from all three sigs and try to utilize it in your next sig/ or future sigs.

Yeah I am. Thanks for the much appreciated comments everyone. Stoked- Thats in YOUR opinion : ). Patha - ??....ok Forsaken- this a WIP so I haven't tweaked the lighting yet. I had only changed certain distinctive areas of lighting. But I can clearly see what you mean about the hair :? Dyronamics - the green can be fixed, it was caused by some sort of colour distortion in my brushing. And also nice insight on the piece : ), however the source of music is there. Azvareth - thanks man, but its far from perfect. Quer_Skull- there is a music source, and thanks for the comments. jabraulter - you brought up an excellent point. Thanks man, I'll fix that. Unfortunately I don't have access to a tablet, so I only use a mouse. If I had a tablet I could do some of my freehand stuff, but o well. Venomai - it's good to see some new talent around here. Sorry to dissapoint you but it is a stock. And your right the clef (I'm not sure what you call it either :P) does stick out too much. Peter -Thanks man And Forsaken and Venomai, it's not suppose to be repetitive. I just rushed that part, also it's not a default brush, so I had to make every individual petal. Therefore it was getting too time consuming so I just duplicated it. I'm gonna fix that though. Some areas of this piece was really rushed, and thats currently being tweaked. I'm removing most of the sharp elements and brush techniques I used. I'm going for a smoother feel, like my old style. Also changing the dimensions and typo. STAY TUNED.

edit: got rid of all the other stuff, sometimes I forget this is a game forum lol :lol: Anyway, I got rid of all the sharp elements to get a smoother feel, redid the typo, added some new effects to the wings, tweaked the rose petals and the lighting on the stock and changed/added a new melody stream. It's still not finished though. But I got free time, thanks to my 4 month break :D:lol: Lastly comments are welcome and appreciated by everyone, so yeh leave a comment it doesn't take that long :) .

The colours are too montonous- u should try to get a variation of different colours so that your sig doesn't appear flat. Maybe colour balance? (depends on what program your using) Also , you should try to work more with the picture - change toning and lighting on the pic? Or add some effects. Because the different elements in your sig don't compliment each other that well. Looks to me like different portions that don't relate to each other. Finally, your second sig is, in many ways similar to your first one. You should try to experiment to learn new things, and keep practicing to get better :).

It looks cool and all, but the logo isn't legible enough or CLEAR enough to immediately indentify what it says. Try working on making it clearer whilst still utilizing the same design elements.
