I'm pretty sure you ripped it, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and I just won't rate it.

The large version appears too blurry for me. But the resized version is rocking, really like the pose and how proportionate every thing is. A problem I can detect though is the shape of the shield. Notice how at the bottom left - beneath her deltoids it kinda curves inward. I think it may be an illusion caused by the armor on her arm, but you should fix that. And the dagger as you mentioned. Other than that it's great.

I really like your sense and understanding for colour. However the background in the Ethereal Solace piece needs a bit more focus and direction IMO. The effects you used to create the wings could also be better, its a bit too flat right now, it doesn't have enough depth. The picture you drew for the seasons greetings piece is great. But all the other pieces are a bit lacking IMO. All in all still some good work though, and welcome to tip.it.

I've been yearning for this effect for so long, it's semi-realism; which accounts for the reason why the skin is so overtedly smooth, and thats how I want it. I think I finally nailed it this time! :D As you can tell it's not finished, but I'll keep updating as I progress further. I really like the results. edit : For those who haven't seen the first versions \/. Version1 Version2 [edit] :Crispened everything, removed disorientated areas, added petals for perspective and depth. It's not really finished but I've lost the will to go on :P Reference was used for this. And once again it was just me and my mouse (brush), I'll get that tablet one day lol, or so I keep telling myself. Anyway I'd like some C&C, comments or ratings :)

The vectors are kinda cool nothing exceptional though. Did they all look the same because you never learnt anything new and didn't try to improve yourself? Anyway, looking forward to seeing some of your works in the future :)

I'm glad I've inspired you to try some brushing :) The focal point of the explosion shouldn't be blocked off by that bar in the middle, ruins the balance and focus of the sig. On the top left those diagnol lines distorts the flow of the piece, notice how the general movement in that area is moving \ Northwest from the explosion you have the diagnol line moving in the opposite direction, which wrecks the flow. Think about this in your future sigs. Not really a fan of the retros, you have some nice elements going, but as a whole it could be better. Keep practicing and the results will come along nicely.

Lol staring communism in the eye. This one is pretty nifty I like the general properties of it.

The flame appears flat. It's a good effort, but to improve it you should try working on multiple layers and try using different transparencies for each layer to bring more depth and property to the flame. At present it looks like one smudged layer. Also don't be afraid to add a bit of white here and there. All in all its a good effort, keep practicing.

It's got funk, good to see something different floating around. For the reflection thin down the lines of the reflection.

Yeah its a typo thanks for pointing that out, I'll use the it was early in the morning excuse :lol:. It's the atmosphere I was going for, but it's cool that you dont like it. It's all personal preference. Col - Yeah 1px brush at different transparency levels, and smudge at different variances. Bubbles weren't meant to be realistic, but moreso representational. The dragon reminds me of the dragons from baldurs gate II. Anyway I think it's pretty good for a sketch, and I also like it, but it isn't great as a finalised and completed product/piece.

I haven't made myself a sig for quite a while. This is a re-make and a tribute to a sig that I had a while back, Resting in oceansblue. Anyway comments/ratings and criticism would be greatly appreciated : ) \/.

More colours than you bargained for XP. I went a bit colour crazy, but if you don't like the colours I could change it to the colours that you wanted. Pureleader13 *update I mirrored it like you requested. I can't move the girl anymore left, or else the balance of the sig will be off, and I'd also have to remake the background.

I like it. However I think the perspective is kinda wierd.

I don't want to discourage you. But I think it's a pretty bad piece. Looks blurry and low quality, the central mountain looks stuffed and the overall composition is nothing to celebrate about. You should forget about this piece and redeem yourself with a new one.

:0 your joking me. :shock: That should be the topic of discussion. I don't want to insult you, but you have no idea what your talking about. If that's not the style you want to practice then fine. But don't be a *head and say stuff that you don't know, shading and colouring manga takes years of practice. I don't mind if you don't like the style, just don't denigrate other artists who I have high respect for. Also Manga = comics Anime = Cartoons/Animation
