Why would you risk when batwing achieves the same, this is how it goes now. whilst you had a plethora of choice before the EOC when it came to armour-choice. There is nothing to understand about EOC pking, get the stun right, you win, ... change of styles ? No sorry here have a few seconds delay on your abilities; very boring. You all claim people generalize yet you do exactly the same and write every problem ever of on the PVP-community. "I didn't pk, i dun care" "I got attacked in the wilderness doing my clue, bah!" "I met a clan in the wilderness and died" what's different about warbands then? FC's monopolizing a boatload of EXP and batwing. Oh "glorious" pking! Shame, even if you disliked some children with a big mouth, I don't understand how one completely writes off the whole PVP-experience, there's was more then the wilderness.

This reason exactly has made me bored of the game. Anyone know any other games with loot on killdrop? Any form of risk-playing is gone here and so is the thrill.

Indeed, it's horrible. Whilst the EOC was planned to make combat more diverse the only thing it did was completely kill PVP and make it bland. I still play EOC, in the hopes that everything PVP will become alive again but looking at the responses here we are but evil scum. Ah well, maybe things don't affect you now and you don't care untill they change your favourite part of the game. I like a plethora of things to do in Runescape, it's a shame some aspects are just gone now.

I miss 2k worlds and W2 fally park, the activity in wilderness and duel arena & all the pvp games. So far duel arena is just infested with scammers. Other then that it's okay. I returned six months ago and i've never seen a full world at any day of the time.

aging it to perfection :D Haha, I remember that discussion... It probably makes no sense at all but to this day (even when the rewards are abysmal) I believe clue scrolls rewards are improved if you let them age. :P

QFT! Yes, yes! My thoughts exactly, let the global impact of the battle be decided by the community but at least let us individually have an impact on how Lumbridge turns out! I wanna feel like my votes will have a serious impact on the game in the way I envisage. & more boring sara church stuff... In lumbridge. Bah.

...Which, to be fair, would probably have been a genuinely useful and much-loved update had it happened at any other point in Runescape's history, or in any other MMO :twss: True, social slayer isn't hated and slated as a bad update as such. It functions perfectly fine and serves it purpose with some moderately nice rewards the only issue is the pure and simple meta-game fact it is worse xp:hr and thus largely un-used. Are attacking strykewyrms in social slayer with 2H threshold fixed yet? Last time I did social slayer I couldn't attack the strykewirm anymore after activating said tresholds. Nontheless I love it and the rewards are BOSS!

I haven't done battle of lumbridge yet, will I miss out on something if I don't besides titles? That zamorak symbol above my head along with the book, robes, cape & banner would look so amgawd awesome :o

Why you stressing Polar you have to wait for the two-second ability delay anyhow. It's not you; they just made everything absurdly shit that is hybrid. ,,!,, Nowadays-Jagex ,,!,,

Complex things are always better than simple things. Except in the case of Quests. Elemental Workshop should never have existed. EOC really isn't so bad once you get to know it. I did around 10M slayer xp in the EoC (almost all of which was with ability rotations), as well as spending a couple of hundred hours (not exaggerating) perfecting and playing 1v1 PVP with abilities. I know the EoC better than most people, and still don't find it to be an enjoyable experience. Also the EoC is incredibly simplistic, not complex - it is objectively one of the least sophisticated examples of a combat system based around activated/sustained/passive abilities. I would also disagree that complexity is always better than simple things. Unnecessary complexity is almost always avoided, and in many cases reducing something to its simplest form is the most elegant and desirable outcome. Incidentally elemental workshop was one of my favourite questlines too ;p i'm so sad it's been roughly half a year or I think I came back when EOC was about to get implented. Shit is narrow, bland and boring. I gave it a chance, now with RS3 pffffttt better MMO's out there with the same feel AND a better combat system. O well
