umm, i seen this think on the Discovery channel, their health channel one.. a kid got hit in the head with a baseball, or golfball or something, and his face was numb, and he ended up having to have brain surgery because it caused blood to build up on his brain. then they ended up finding a bone disease or something... i dunno.. 24hr numbness, i'd go to a hospital if i were you.

I don't have my own, i've borrowed a DSLR from a friend of mine a while back, you make have seen the pictures i did with that. otherwise i have a 2mp Kodak from 1998, which works for snap shots... but im going to try and get myself a nice DSLR this summer. @navyplaya -about the shutter speed, when i was doing that shoot i was using 500-1000th of a sec. shots, i dont know if 500 is to slow though? possibly when i was developing them in the dark room something was slightly out of focus on the machine. & the 4th one is a light tower by the airport in my town (top one is rotating) the bottom two are some type of streetlight, and the distorted effect on this picture, and the last one came from water droplets on the lenses.. Thanks for the crits, ill keep them all in mind when i develop and shoot my next assignment for school. Expect more skate oriented ones, as its my theme for my final project. *me needs a slide scanner :P* Edit: I fixed some of the things that were critiques that were bad :thumbsup:

its really old, probably 10-12+ years.. we found it in out attic. i dont have it at my house now but the brand of the camera starts with an "M" and sounds foreign. and i have various lenses, 135mm, 55mm, and a 28mm. Whiteboard + Permanent marker... hehe, i freaked the teacher out by doing that... but theres something that not alot of people know.. if u color over permanent marker with a dry erase one on a whiteboard the permanent will come off with the dry erase... - Also almost got caught doing some things... illegal (drugs, etc.) - hmm, we had this career day in our school and we were supposed to go to different classrooms and get lectured on careers throughout the day. Me and some others decided to go explore the school, and chill out in places no-one would look... spitball + back of teachers head = didnt get caught, i dont think.. she turned around and gave me a look but didnt do any thing other than that. ..playing with chemicals in science classes also.. \ im out, cant think of anymore.

our school has had a couple bomb threats in the past few years.. all that ever happened was an evacuation to the parking lot, and classes resumed when "the coast was clear"... kinda makes you think a couple hours of searching isnt going to do much... even in a small school. Mage, also.. i know you had bomb threats, whats your schools procedure when they get one? do they send a squad in or what? *i posted this unaware of ur last post. and i didnt want to seem like im ignoring the fact you've lost people you know. --sorry for your loss, i hope nothing more comes up on the terms of more people you know passing.

when i went to get something to eat at the 2nd largest dining hall in the United States...it was so somber...not 1 person said a word while they ate. the pictures and videos i've seen with, what looked to be students, they had blank or worried faces, no one was even crying. Maybe because they didnt know what was happening yet. Does the school have anything set up for psychological counseling to those who have been traumatized?

Tomorrows going to be worse than today, everyones going to get hit with the reality that it actually happened, people are just in shock now.
