It says 200 miles acording to the test :P thats the distance from the speedtest server (its the closest one available) what i meant by station is that there is usually a localized building in your area to house the ISP eqipment etc. think of it as an electric substation for the internet. cable or DSL? usually the farther away you are from the localized building the worse your ping will be. Im quite far away, over 5 miles and theres a smaller tower between me and the main building so my ping isnt any better than 130-150ms

i usually sleep 12-14 hours a DAY, and by day i really mean DAY... most of my waking moments are spent during the night hours. computer, guitar, music, sulking, meditating. today though ive been up the past ...21 hours now. Watch 24hr Le Mans race, went to see an air show.. and then had to deal with a dog that injected rat poison.. so fairly eventful for once, its going to feel good going to sleep tonight knowing i actually did something.

oof... that much latency has got to mean theres quality control issues going on... the lines your connected to probably is on the frizt. How far are you from the "station". Theres no excuse they could have for that bad of ping...

i don't often use blending modes when i actually make these vector shapes, maybe a lower opacity change here and there if i need it to blend better. heres a tutorial i had written a while ago in the basics of making my Beveled heart that you seen in the 2nd link i showed you. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/34438454/ Basically try different shapes and forms with the same technique and see what you come up with. One thing i can tell you thats not on the tutorial is WORK LARGE, use high resolution bases that way you can save it as a resource and downsize it without much trouble with quality. *edit* also try using the pen tool to create custom shapes instead of using premade ones that photoshop has, or search websites for packs that add more shapes.

Got it a few days ago, and I love it. Its not like any of their old stuff but its still very very good. It has a lot of Spanish influence in the sound and many lovely blues riffs you'd come to exepect from Jack. I told one of my friends yesterday I could see them going into the hall of fame some day. :thumbsup:

Possibly, although in photoshop its not a "True" vector program unlike illustrator. :arrow: do you have an example you could show as to what makes you want to do this? Mainly I don't do anything intricate like vector portraits, but rather simple shapes combined with each other to form something which seems to have layers, and sometimes a 3D feel. also, a random question if anyone can answer it... it kind of goes along with this topic, on the subject of schooling. If a person from the U.S. wants to go to college, say in the UK or Europe, or someplace else, how would they go about doing so? and what would benefits and cons be of doing it? please PM me if you have knowledge on this subject.

Very interesting read, and I myself have thought about some of these topics while sitting at my desk in school, especially the idea that many people, like bookworms, work hard all their life when in the end they will just die and it will be meaningless. Early this year when school began I made a personal philosophy, and that, in my mind, I would rather die a poverse man who is happy doing what he wants, rather than a man working, doing something he doesn't enjoy but for a good sum of money. this topic has me thinking a lot at the moment, and I cant come to respond to it all... I salute you for that, and thank you for the past 10 days of threads, although I didn't read all of them, the ones that peaked my interest and did read got me thinking.

One card draw provided a low Cups. In one card draw, Cups means "Yes, exactly how you expected". However be advised, two cards fell out as I was shuffling, the 11 of clubs and the 9 of swords fell out. Both cards are more negative than Cups, and the Cups you received was only a 2, so you walk a fine line my friend. Joy.. :|
