Le Parkour Tutorials (Free Running)
No, damnit, leave me alone about it. i combined a friends with zanshinstudios and used their pictures and gave them credit.....that's not plagirism buddy. The one that was copied and pasted is the wall spin. I didn't violate any copyright laws by reproducing as my own. I didn't violate any laws as their is no terms of use as he is not stated any reproduction rules or regulations. Therefore i just can not claim the work as my own and i didnt. I gave them credit, It does not mention on the site about taking anything or copyright rules so therefore i just can follow by assumed rules and give them their credit. End of story. Not meaning to sound like a [bleep] dude i have just had a bad day with exams and all

It's not. He simply saved it in that ugly Paint .Jpg... I second that motion. the background definitly looks a like a chrome photshop filter. And no offense but with that linework how would it be that anti alliased The red scarf thingy looks like its beveled and the arms look like they are dodged and burned

Le Parkour Tutorials (Free Running)
Theres two different styles of it. Obviously the tricking style with flips and stuff, and the more serious style...watever you call it It's also spelled wrong on purpose as the creators of it did for some reason. The guys invented in france check out parkour.com

Le Parkour Tutorials (Free Running)
Yeah its a sport specifically following by definition of it...although its not your traditional one. You do have to have skill and talent for this as its gets a lot mroe complex. the tutorials i posted here are of the most basic nature....even the wallspin... Check out my other thread for some videos on it. Its fun to get on roofs and stuff....places you never thought you could get too before. Some People aslo use this to run from people rather it be your mom, cops, the mafia, some kid at school, watever you can think of. Jumping over poles is like learning how to balance on a skateboard its just the begining Also i did give credit if you look in there somewhere it says thanks to a friend and i got the pics from zanshinstudios because me and my friend are too cheap and lazy to bother buying a camera and taking some pics

Some1 Smart Help me plz!!!!!
It'll be ahrd to find a world map...you'll have to find compilations of it. Check and see if its not a particular region such as Middle-East, Medditerrainian, Western or Eastern Europe, U.S., just search in an atlas book, history book (i guess your taking world history...i took it in 9th grade), encylopedia (maybe), check for 1900's maps or atlas on google on some hsitory website, check your local library if all else fails. As sometimes you have to do it the old fashioned way most likely what you'll find is bits and pieces and youll have to compile them togther which can run into problems of unaccuracy by the cartographer (i tihnk thats the right term) or artist

Wallspin This is more just creative showoff than anything of actual use. Start by believing in yourself. Dont let your mind tricking you into thinking you cant do it. It's also better to practice on objects at more of an angle such as a slanted tree. Aslo first test the wall by placing your hands and pushing to chekc and see about the amount of friction, if your slipping its probably a safe bet to find a different spot I will post pictures first then text tutorial When you approach the object and are around 2 meters (6-7 feet) from it you have to jump and land 1-1.3 meters (2-4 feet) from the object and bounce really hard into the spin. An important thing is to jump and bounce with both legs simultaneously. Otherwise you might not get enough height and rotation and will eventually fall on the ground on all fours. It is recommended to try lower-medium heights first as you might not have enough rotation to complete the trick. If you try your first wall spin at full speed at first you might freak out and bail. Hands on the wall and landing: Just after your legs get off the ground you have to place your hands on the wall. The lower palm should be around the bellybutton level and the upper around neck level. This configuration is high enough so you can have enough time to rotate. If you place the hands higher you risk slower rotation and eventually landing on your hands on the ground. Your hands should be about 50-70 centimetres (19-28 inches) apart to utilize the maximum of your jump and rotation. Then you should stop your vertical momentum with your hands and start spinning around the lower hand. You must push with the lower hand and pull the wall with the upper hand (like in crawling on the ground). This will spin you enough to land the move. If you land on all fours or land on two legs and slap the ground with your arms you're not getting enough height and spin. You have to place your hands higher and jump harder. When you have done your first proper wall spin on a slanted wall drill the move over and over again until you are comfortable enough to move on to a wall with a bigger angle. When you move on to walls that become more and more vertical you'll see that it's becoming harder and harder to do a wall spin. Don't worry. When you do it many, many times you'll be very comfortable with it. The big challenge comes when facing vertical walls..It will seem impossible but trust me it's not

Cat Leap Can be very helpful to reach extra heights you can also add a walljump in between two walls run at one wall jump and jump back and cat lead to the next on with the tut 1. Jump forward depending on your running or not you may need extra momentum to carry you far enough. lean forward, knees bent, arms extended 2. Launch your self to the wall and try to land on top of it. Or if its too heigh, land with your hands (hanging) and absorb impact wiht your body and pull youself up 3.Pull your legs forward so the hit first and have your arms out and ready to grab the rail or whatever 4. Plant your feet, grab the rail and bend knees to aborb and impact you might recieve. then proceed to pull or vault yourself over

Le Parkour Tutorials (Free Running)
monkey vault Enter this like a side vault spring off your feet and into the rail. grasp the rail as you would normally push down with your hands and tuck your knees as far as you can into your chest. So your feet will have enough height to clear the jump Bring your knees up and push off with your arms and land with knees bent to aborsb impact

Le Parkour Tutorials (Free Running)
One Handed Vault Similar to basic vault minus the hand 1 Come at the rail on a bit of an angle with your hand reaching out for the bar. 2. Jump up and push down with your arm. Use the other arm to guide yourself up and add momentum to your jump. 3Swing your legs sideways over the rail and spot your landing. Land with knees bent to abosrb shock and continue on

Le Parkour Tutorials (Free Running)
This is what the people do in the russian climbing video i posted in another thread....It's an actual sport called le parkour or free running Anyone can do it it just takes stamina, discpline and strength. I do it a lot and i thought if anyone else wanted to try they can read this. you dont have to do a bunch of the facny stuff or anything as dangerous in the video, but you can still have fun) I will be posting a few tutorials in this thread to help some people who ever want to try to get started. Im sure all of you can jump, and roll (maybe summersaults) but heres some basics first Tutorials thanks to a friend of mine and zanshinstudios JUMPING FROM HEIGHTS (MORE THAN 2 METERS) This is when your jumping from high to low and you use your forward momentum to carry you into rool that will tka ethe shock off your legs 1. Spot your landing. If jumping from height you should have your knees bent down to a ninety degree angle before you start the roll, so that the impact is partially absorbed. Do not hesitate at this point, you must go right into the roll otherwise all the impact will be put onto your legs. 2. Bring your hands together in a pretty triangle as shown. Aim them out infront of you. Place the forearm of your rolling side down. Try to look down at your waist as you roll. Curl up and keep all your core muscles tight as best you can as you tuck your chin tightly to your chest. Try to keep your arms and legs bent and inward as you roll. Make sure to practice alot to find a comfortable arch on your back to roll across. There are different types of rolls, such as, Backward rolls, side rolls, and Break Fall rolls. These rolls are used in different situations or directional change just like a forward roll. If you find yourself hitting your pelvis bone during your rolls, its not acceptable to continue practicing them that way. Contrary to popular belief, its not acceptable to hurt yourself in anyway during a roll; if something is hurting find out why and correct it. Next Tutorial Basic Side Vault (pictures) This is for vaulting over objects such as rail Approach the rail. when you beomce close to it bend the knees and spring into a vault Grasp the rail with hand approx shoulder width apart Push downwards on your hands so your forearms can help you over. bring your legs up and swing over the rail sideways Release the hand infront of your legs and continue swinging over. then release the other and land with knees bent to absorb impact

Few cool pics (worth a look)
thats not a url to an image but a jpg page....don't be fooled because it ends with .jpg thats just actual whats called a GET value for the php to use in its coding procces beacause thats actually a php document that gets the information of the GET value to post the url of the picture... Complicated but post the link without the .php extension in it .jpg should be the only one...so reupload it and copy the link that should be around it and put it between these tags i copied and pasted in my browser so now on to the c/c Dont know what exactly it is its just a bunch of RS screen shots taken and cropped. Work on more that just cropping images... not being offensive but try creating your own work as those images are actually copyrighted to RS
please rate my sig
perspective is 3d as from above. 3dimensional illusion is accomplished on a 2d screen by shading. As it shows the lights sources and intensitys of relfecltions. On to the sig Perspective is off in that perspective it would be looking from above and the chair would be hardly at an angle much different than 180 degrees (or 0 for that matter) arms are weird no shoulders proportions are wrong (google a quick article on the human anatomy) Such as armspan is approx = height, arm falls about 4-5 inches above the knee standing Legs are in an awquard postion (you try that one) torso is in the shape of a capsule? (looks like my ibuprofen tablets) Sand is too yellow Perspective on bag is off too Eyes dont fit the picture Head not in porportion to the body whew there im done.... Keep practicing

Russian Climbing
There just really in shape the guys who invented it live in france, or used to and invented it out of boredom. It became accopined with acrobatic moves such as flips, summersaults, etc. The guys who invented it do many commercials and stuff now and they started tournments or something like that. It's French name is called Parkour. The basic thing is not to see the everything around you such as walls or watever as obstacles but as a plaground that you can climb and manuever over and around. when jumping from heights you crouch and lt your momentum carry you into a roll, if not done properly you risk breaking your legs. theres also the cat leap where when you land with your arms on a ledge and use your body to absorb the shock, then you pull your self up. It's fun try getting up on your roof. Have a ladder already set up incase your too scared to jump down. Like at my house i hop up on the garage frame, grab onto ledge pull myself up and shimmy(i like that word) up a pole to the roof, But since mine is so high i climb and not jump down.

I started a few years ago me and some friends playing around my house (i have a huge house 12,000+ sqft, 6 acres) anyway we do it but not to that adavanced level. heres a commercial made about it for something http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... ee+running yeah i dont do it as much now cuz im following in my dads footsteps and i own a business but i occasional do it. Anyone brave enough to try train yourself first (go to parkour.com for some training tips) get in very good shape You must be able to take some pain When you jump from anything more than 6 feet (2 meters) bend your knees and let your momentum carry you into a roll
