  1. Um, since there is nothing I will make my own. It's not smart to bash something popular because...
  2. swedishboy5, that's an interesting idea, but I'm used to post the log of the things the monsters drop. I don't know if I'll ever be using images. If I won't get many posts on my blog, so be it. I don't want to be popular anyway. I killed 1500 white knights and got the following drops: (I got level 93 defense while killing them.) (Note: I didn't pick up the seeds.) 16 Strawberry seeds 292 Onion seeds 30 Sweetcorn seeds 212 Cabbage seeds 75 Tomato seeds 344 Potato seeds 310 Nature runes 20 Iron longswords 23355 Coins 17 Grimy marrentills 159 Adamant arrows 138 Iron bars 38 Blood runes 3 Grimy cadanties 42 Law runes 435 Mithril arrows 181 Chaos runes 3 Uncut rubies 18 Grimy guams 8 Halves an apple pie 1435 Water runes 568 Body runes 866 Mind runes 2 Nature talismans 5 Grimy ranarrs 8 Pots of flour 25 Steel med helms 2 Grimy lantadymes 23 Steel swords 7 Uncut sapphires 20 Iron ores 12 Grimy tarromins 6 Grimy harralnders 4 Uncut emeralds Grimy dwarf weed 4 Watermelon seeds 4 Grimy kwuarms 5 Grimy avantoes 2 Grimy irits Uncut diamond I bought 5,000 gold bars, granite maul, 150,000 air runes and 9783 from the grand exchange. I also pickpocketed 1200 knights to get back the money I used to fix my Verac's helmet. Then I pickpocketed until I failed 100 times and got 83300 coins in total. (1666 pickpockets) While stealing from stalls I got the following drops from guards and paladins: 18 Grapes 37 Iron bolts 144 Coins Iron bar 3 Steel arrows I stole the following things: (I got 65 crafting while cutting the gems.) 29 uncut sapphires 3 uncut rubies 3000 Coins 3 Raw sharks 3 Adamantite ores 2 Uncut emeralds From random events I got the following items: 31 Pure essence (quiz) 20 Mithril ores (niles)
  3. Wait a minute, are you sure it's a good idea to use a defender? Last time I checked you need the antidragon shield to be able to defend yourself against the dragon fire. Then again I only use the old methods so I wouldn't know. You know what what, I might update the guide, maybe. If I feel up to it. But I'm not gonna copy and paste stuff from another website since that would be stealing. But right now I don't feel up to it. As for now I'm gonna remove the link to this guide from my sig since it really needs some improvements.
  4. You're so right, maybe it was a mistake to bump this thread up. All I know about killing steel dragons are things that are already mentioned in this guide. I need to learn so more about them if I want this guide to be a worthy guide. There is no denying that my guide is very outdated and there is no denying this is not the best guide on fighting steel dragons. I should just give up on this guide. Back in 2007 this would have been a great guide since there weren't as many things back then as there are today. This guide used to be a great guide explaining the best methods to fight them, but not anymore. I know nothing about the using potions other than antifire, I know nothing about the other locations, I know nothing about meleeing them or ranging them. All I know is how to mage them, and I don't even know the best way to do it. Maybe it's time to close this thread, well, it's totally up to the admins and mods if this thread should be closed or not, but clearly I'm no expert on this subject.
  5. The vending machine breaks. *inserts a head in a jar.*
  6. I'm not even close to 1,000 posts in this topic, it will take me forever to get that far.
  7. She was a great villain.
  8. I am watching Fraggle Rock and it is a pretty good show.
  9. I will admit that there is a high possibility that this guide is indeed out of date. I mean I haven't edited it since 2007 until just now. It wouldn't surprise me that the fact that few people use magic on them is not the only thing in the guide that's out of date. I also noticed that I don't mention any of the other locations steel dragons can be found. I haven't been to Kuradal's Dungeon or Fortress of Ghorrock, so really I have no idea about the methods get to the steel dragons there. Can somebody help me out here? I want this guide to be more up-to-date. EDIT: I made the following changes: I deleted the sentence where it says steel dragons are the strongest non-boss monsters since that's no longer true. I also reworded the sentence mentioned that meleeing them isn't the best way. I deleted the "This sucks" FAQ since I can take criticism, and it isn't needed.
  10. Well, that's totally up to you. Of course you don't have to kill them. I agree with TBM, although I would suggest everyone kill steel dragons. Thanks for the support, man. You know what, this is a fun game. I am the top poster on almost every game here in the forum games, maybe I should also post a lot in this topic. But I have a long way to go until I can be one of the top posters in this game.
  11. Well, that's totally up to you. Of course you don't have to kill them.
  12. Well, I personally prefer using magic against them, but maybe I should reword that sentence a bit. Maybe I should instead mention that using magic is what I prefer.
  13. Hey, guys. I'm back editing my steel dragon guide, you should check it out.
  14. I'm glad to say that after years of not editing this guide, I decided to update it. I made the following updates: Someone told me he can fight steel dragons under level 85 combat, so I changed the guide to note it's HIGHLY RECOMMENDED instead. I fixed some typos. I added Draconic visage to the drop list since it's a very popular drop by those. (though very rare.) Keep in mind that it didn't exist back when I made this guide. I deleted the FAQ "Some friend of mine says these don't drop soul and it can only be found in the Wizards' Guild, is that true?" since I can't imagine anyone asking that ridiculous question. I added "I personally keep them." to the question "Shall I keep the steel bars or leave them?". I also changed 3K runes to 1K, since I always use that many. I deleted the part where I mentioned that you should bring curry to the next trip. You wouldn't be needing it since you won't get a lot of damage if you're careful. I changed the part where I said you should get food from your bank, and said that you should be stealing it instead. I also edited out "Please don't flame", since that's not necessary. I hope that this is the best guide on how to kill steel dragons. If there is anything you want me to add, please let me know.
  15. Nope, I don't even eat anything. Is there something in RuneScape you enjoy doing that a lot of people don't? For me it's pickpocketing knights. People constantly ask me why I still do that, and are shocked when I tell them that I enjoy it.
  16. I can see that most of you who had fun with me here in the forum games are in this thread, but don't bother going to the other threads. I mean people like SeanyTheBear, silver_wits and Goonstalf. I miss you guys. :'-(
  17. It summons a pro-wrestler who beats you up. 13HP
  18. Granted, they keep it to themselves because the whole world becomes mute. I wish the talking hat from the Harry Potter movies would be all mine.
  19. Talk about crap that nobody cares about. Are you popular? No.
  20. Well, since live goes on forever, sure, nobody can kill you.
  21. So guys, what do you think of pizzas?
  22. You're fired from the photo company for not having a photo.
  23. No, but I have shot some people with a gun in the Pokémon World. But not in real life though. What's your favorite weapon? A pistol.
  24. Play RuneScape, in fact I will. Is there something you wanna do but don't have the courage to do so? That's a tough one. I really have no idea.
