I know for a fact they used to drop fire runes once every 15 drops or so, but now I have killed almost 200 of them, and got no fire runes, not one. I did however get the other drops I used to get, so not much has changed about what they drop. I wanna know do they no longer drop 150 fire runes at a time? I'm not asking for the reason, I'm asking IF they no longer drop that thank you.

I killed 600 black dragons and got a lot of money for that which is just expected. But the best part is the fact that I finally was able to buy the garb of subjugation. And there were also enough leftovers to buy 500 maple logs. Cool. And I now am only 1648 high alchemy spells away from 95 magic which is so awesome. Now I'm gonna kill 702 fire giants, is gonna be fun. I suppose so. But what about daggers and scimitar? Surely they don't require a lot of strength to hold.

Alright, the explanation for holding a weapon are understandable, and I accept it. But at no point am I cutting the shark. In fact I'm doing literally nothing after I'm done cooking it. I also don't get how it's so easy to eat lobsters, in real life lobsters are one of the most complicated food to eat. And for the record I don't mind things not making sense in the game, I don't mind it at all. It's just fun to look at some of the nonsense and talk about it.

Alright, I thought I might as well make a thread like this, I didn't see it elsewhere, so I thought hey why the heck not? This thread is exactly about what the title suggests, things in RuneScape that make no sense, alright I'll start. The fact that you need specific level to hold an item. What the heck is prohibiting you from using a dragon longsword at a low level? Ok, maybe it makes sense with dragon equipment as they're somewhat magical. But rune items? Nope, not at all. Also the fact that you can eat sharks in one bite, that makes no sense. And how come chocolate cakes take three bites and pizzas only take two? It takes longer to eat a huge pizza than it does a chocolate cake. So yeah, hope this will make for a fun discussion. It's fun to look at nonsense in games.

Granted, however after you abuse them too much everyone leaves the site and don't bother coming back. I wish bronze daggers were worth 15m coins, then I'd make and sell a whole bunch of them. Just think of all the useful treasure I will be able to buy with all that money.

I thought that maybe having the lowest quality possible would help, but apparently it didn't. It's not a problem this time since I'm fighting hobgoblins and don't have to waste anything since I fight them with melee. But I am gonna try making the attacks automatic with ranged when I use it next.

Guys I appreciate your help I really do. But I found even better solution, playing RuneScape with the lowest quality possible. I don't mind the low quality, and with that low quality, the game plays very smoothly and doesn't freeze at all.

Not if you were something for protection. For example shock proof clothing. In RuneScape the fastest way to train cooking is to make wines. Assuming you already have the right amount of grapes and jugs of water for 99 cooking.

I killed 3700 tyras knights and wow, their drops are exactly like the drops of greater demons used to be, with one major exception. They don't drop clue scroll, I killed 3700 of the tyras guards and can confirm they don't drop clue scrolls ah well. I still got a lot of money and I'm satisfied with that. That's true, but the OP acted like he's forced to use the protean items which is not the case at all. I did the same mistake two years ago when I made a rant on the squeal of fortune, which is what the treasure chest was back then.

Or better yet you can choose to cash out all the protean items you get or drop them. There is an option on not using them you know. I for one am glad these exist, because RuneScape is far from the top of my priority list.

The west part of Ardougne is SUPPOSED to look like a shithole, that's the whole point. It's supposed to be the bad part of the city where people are treated unfairly. I don't want it to look like a nice place in the near future. It's not supposed to be. EDIT: And also I go to Falador City all the time to fight white knights. I know that most people don't like fighting low level monsters like I do, but yeah, I do go there to fight white knights, so it's not completely unused outside quests. EDIT 2: Also, I got something to add. How can ANY of you forget about the mining guild? Granted, it's not the only place to mine coal, but it still has the biggest amount of coal rocks in one place. I don't use the mining guild myself, I use the mine between the Legends' Guild and the Ardougne Stall Market, but the mining guild is useful for coal regardless.

I can easily make over 500K coins within a day, so getting 40K coins a week is not worth it either.

Meh, a monster I can only fight once a week is not worth it, especially since RuneScape is far from the top of my priority list. And I also only fight monsters that drop something, according to the RS wiki it drops nothing, so it's not worth it. I guess that means the lodestone of that place will remained locked for eternity.

Most of my skills are at least 75. Which means I'm not a new player at all, in fact I have been playing since 2006, and even before then, but I'm saying 2006 because that's when I became a member. I read the Ashdale article on the RuneScape wiki, and from what I can gather it's a place for new player. Is anything there for an experienced player like me? I doubt it, but I'm not sure that's why I asked.

So the title of this thread is inappropriate? I apologize, I never intentionally break the rules, in fact I do my best to follow them for the most part. Also, my question has already been answered, which is why I find it odd the answered tag wasn't used yet, but I added it now. If I get a warning for the title of this thread, I deserve it, I will do my best to not do it again later on.

I could change the title, but most people don't search for a thread of the subject they need help with before making a thread. Most of them just start making the thread right away. So I doubt it would help much.
