Apparently I can't use my black salamander since it's a two handed weapon. But I need to use a ranged weapon against them, which should I use?

When buying or selling something, does the changes of successfully selling or buying something depend on whether or not a person in the world (the server) I'm on is trying to buy or sell that item? Or does it work globally across all worlds?

I have gotten 3 million coins extremely quick thanks to the fact I fought steel dragons, and most likely even more. =D I love fighting them so much. But it's time to move on and kill red dragons now. I just wanna say thank you, for a moment there I thought I'd have to waste most of my runes fighting the steel dragons, sure am glad that's not the case. I don't know why I entered that mode anyway.

Alright, a few days ago I logged back in just to notice that I can no longer do these special abilities, and the way the magic book as well as my bag are organized are back the way they were before the evolution of combat update. I ask again what the hell happened? Can someone tell me because I'm confused.

I remember back when I asked advice on fighting greater demons. (this thread to be exact) And if I need help, I just go back there and read the posts for archival purposes. However, I haven't yet fought red dragons after the evolution of combat, until just now. I assume that fighting them is similar to fighting greater demons, with an exception of needed antidragon shield. In the past, before that update, I used to melee them, but I can see on the RuneScape wiki page for red dragons that it's a horrible idea. So I won't. Instead I will range them, I assume I kill them the same way I kill greater demons now. But my question is, would antifire potions be effective against them? In the past when I used these potions I could be fighting red dragons for longer as I was totally immune to their dragonbreath. And got only hurt by their combat. I'm not sure if that still works. Any help would be apprecieated, thank you.

I didn't know the springs and the feathers are tradable, not only are they tradable they are also worth a lot. I sold all these items and got around 600K coins. That's awesome. I couldn't be happier about that. Thanks for the help, guys.

I have the following in bank: 75 Springs 3 Fading memories 20 Silvershawk feathers I have no idea what to do with them, or if they're any use to me at all, so I ask are these items any use to me?

Thanks again for the help. I will keep hold on the amulet until I'm done with all my shiny two-leaf clover necklaces, which doesn't seem to be happening any time soon as I get one almost every time I use the treasure hunter feature, even if the one I'm using at the moment isn't even half done.

So basically from the shiny two-leaf clover necklace I got 5 Heartfreezer amulets with 100 charges, and acordding to the information I found it will give me 25 Heart of Ice tokens. And I'm confused and have no idea what that means or what that does. Can someone please tell me how this works? Thank you.

Why wasn't I told earlier that I could re-sell the passes there? I already dropped them, so it's too late now. Well, the thing about it is I only collect useful items. I have a zamorak godsword, granite maul, abyssal whip and all sorts of dragon weapons. If an item just looks good but has nothing more to it than just that I usually sell or drop it, simple as that.

I was referring to the combat spells in the main spellbook, I don't use the ancient spell book, I haven't finished the quest required for it yet and even if I did I wouldn't use that spellbook. Anyway thanks for answering my question. I'll drop these passes now.

Yet another item that isn't as useful as it used to be. Blood runes aren't worth it anymore as they aren't required for combat spells anymore. I can no longer melee magical creatures as the dragonhide no longer defends me from their magical moves. Also, when I cross the shantay gate, none of my shantay passes are taken away from me. So should I get rid of them?

So I was on my way to fight steel dragons as I usually do. And came across this. Apparently it's a staircase, but I have no idea where it goes or how to access it. What is this? Can someone tell me?

So apparently squeak of fortunes are no more and have been replaced by this daily activity. Neat, I love getting free stuff. I especially love the fact that I have to do the skills to get levels, the stars only double the exp when I use that skill, neat. So my question is, does it make any difference which ones of these five chests I click?

I apologize, I misremembered. I didn't use stab from my dragon battleaxe, I used the crush style. So basically I fight them now the same way I fight greater demons now? Alright, cool, thanks for the help.

I used to take with my prayer potions when fighting them, but since prayer no longer totally protects me from any move I sold all my prayer potions, and I think I did the right decision. I'm not gonna melee them anymore as it probably is a bad idea. But I still would like to know, how different is it to fight them now than it was? The way I used to fight them was with crush on my dragon battleaxe, which worked fine, while wearing black dragonhide. Obviously that won't work anymore, so I think the best way to fight them now is through ranged with a black salamander.

Steph, I don't collect them for the money, I collect them so I can make steel platebodies out of them later on. Sure I get richer by just selling the steel bars right off the bat, but I wanna make stuff out of dragonhides, bars, and other things I get from monsters. And yeah, I enjoy gathering my own material very much. I have thought about it and won't bother with these magical notes, why? Because I'd rather kill 5 steel dragons in one trip and not pay for the magical notes than paying every time I go fight them. Anyway, usually I only post here after I'm done fighting certain amount of monsters. But I actually have a special announcement. You see, I just finished making a video talking about what monsters I love fighting the most. Like most of my videos it has a lot of swearing, but I heard that as long as the video is in hide tags I'm allowed to share it on this community. In that case I'm keeping it in my bank, because I do know for a fact that Kuradal will eventually give me that slayer assignment again.

Now in the past I could have used an elemental shield to defend myself against magical users while beating them with combat. But black dragonhide armor can sadly no longer be used that way. I learned by fighting greater demons that the only way I could kill a lot the same trip was to used ranged weapons, most notable harralander tars and a black salamander. So does the elemental shield have any use anymore? I doubt it does as armor that used to be helpful against magic users no longer are.

Thanks for the help, guys. I have decided I will get rid of them. I knew they serve no purpose anymore, but I wasn't 100% sure, hence the reason I made this topic. I will definitely replace them with the cooking gauntlets. Because out of all three of these, that's the only one that would come in handy. Since I don't supertrain, the goldsmith gauntlets aren't useful to me either. I don't care how long it takes me to get to a certain level in skills, I just like to take my time. Unlike most RuneScape players, I don't play the game to get as many level 99s as possible, I play it mainly to fight monsters and make items out of the bars, dragonhides, etc. that they drop.

Seeing as chaos, death and blood runes are no longer required for the combat spells, I don't think I will ever be needing those anymore. So should I get rid of them? What do you think?
