So I was in my bank, noticing that now I have to swap items in banks, it was so much more convenient to have it the other way. I don't recall what the other mode is called. But basically when I put an item somewhere all items inbetween will automatically move one step to the left. But I don't see how that's possible anymore. Can someone tell me how I can do that in my bank now? I have to put the items in order myself, and it gets very frustrating, especially if I have a lot of items.

But isn't leveling up to be able to do the stuff at high level something that applies to ALL games with a level-up system? In GTA: SA there is one mission you can't do with low level in swimming. And in the Pokémon games most Pokémon need to be at a certain level to evolve or learn specific moves. I don't see how this is something that's limited to just RuneScape, because it's not, far from it.

I'm sorry I don't know what you mean by "You have to level to play.". Also, it's not an absolute requirement to get a high level in most stats. I for one don't aim for that, I just play the game for fun. Which is why I spend most of the time killing monsters. That's something I find a lot of fun.

The decrease in prices is something that none of us can sadly control. As for if it's worth it or not, my dream was to kill nechyearls, and you know what? It was worth it for me, because they truly are like greater demons but with even better drops. The drops between nechyearls and greater demons might be nearly identical. But nechs can drop 10 death runes at a time as opposed to 5, and they drop them more often than greaters too. And they drop 37 chaos runes at a time as opposed to 15. And not to mention all these valuable seeds. I for one am glad I'm finally able kill these monsters. I don't kill monsters for the money, I do it because I enjoy it.

I have no idea why guy guys suggested that I use a water spell, fire wave does more damage than water surge against these dragons. Anyway, I am happy that killing steel dragons was made easier. No longer do I have to run around to avoid iron dragons which was annoying, I can just hit steel dragons as soon as I see them and I couldn't be happier about that. =D Thanks for the help, guys. Now that killing steel dragons is easier and quicker to do than it used to be, I am definitely doing it more often, which is awesome as they are some of my favorite monsters to fight.

Now that I'm done killing moss giants, it's time to hunt for steel dragons yet again. But some things have changed, it still shouldn't be too hard to kill steel dragons. I don't like collecting useless items. I only collect things that I can actually use. That's why I don't have stuff like Hoiday items in my bank. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't scamming against the rules? And I'm sure it was against the rules back then. I assume you were just making a joke, I will admit it was a pretty good one. Alright, I'm convinced that I was right all along that spinach rolls are useless items.

It seems to me like a very useless item. It heals for so little it's not even worth eating, it's untradable, and worst of all I get literally NOTHING when high alchemying it not even one coin. So does this item have any uses at all? And I'm not counting usages in quests, as I'm asking if they're useful outside quests.

As expected didn't get much from hill giants. The drops I got are worth 2.5K per trip overall. But again I don't care, I'm here to have fun, not to make a lot of money, and fun is exactly how I felt when fighting these hill giants. I don't wear my mystic robes for protection, I wear them to increase my accuracy when using attacking spells. Unless that has changed and it doesn't work that way anymore. Ugh, fine I will buy a wand before I kill the steel dragons. It doesn't look like I have much of a choice. In the past combat spells would be auto-spells even if I wasn't holding a staff. I understand that it probably has changed with the introduction of evolution of combat. Which I have been getting used to.

Sorry about bumping this thread, but I have another question. Would it be enough to just bring the runes, my mystic robe outfit, my antidragon shield and antidragon potion and not bring any staff at all?

To be honest, I prefer being able to hit for major damage when I'm able to it than do it accurately, but that's just me. I'm not gonna kill steel dragons nearly yet, in fact there are other monsters I'm gonna kill before that happens. But when I do I will go back to this thread and read the advice. Ok, I will buy myself an abyssal wand before then. I just looked up abyssal wand, and wow it costs about 10M coins. I'm sorry, I don't think I will be able to make THAT much quickly. Especially considering the fact I make most of my money by fighting monsters and high alchemying their drops. Granted, that's not the quickest way, far from it, but it is the most fun in my opinion.

Now I have another question, are fire spells now ineffective on steel dragons? Because I have a lot of fire runes in my bank, but not nearly as many water runes though.

Oh yes, my elemental fire staff is no longer one handed, in fact it's now two handed. Oh man killing the steel dragons seems to have become harder than it used to be. And it's not like I can use melee on them now either, because protect from melee no longer protects me from melee attacks. I am totally screwed. So is it not possible anymore to have a staff that gives me unlimited amount of a specific rune AND hold an antidragon shield at the same time? To be honest, I'm now scared. Also, there is one question that remains unanswered. Do antidragon potions still protect me entirely from dragonbreath?

I used to kill steel dragons all the time back before the evolution of combat update occurred. I know the update is very old now, but I'm for the most part used to it. The way I killed steel dragons was this: I used wave, blast or bolt (with chaos gauntlets equipped) spells, mainly the fire ones. And while doing that I used antifire potions to protect myself from the fire of the steel dragons, while holding an anti-dragon shield of course. I know what some of you might say, in fact people have told me before that this is not the best method to kill steel dragons. The question isn't whether or not this is a good method. I use that method because I want to put the death, blood and chaos runes to good use. My question is does that method still work? I'm not sure if antifire potions will still fully protect me from dragon fire. Thanks a lot.

I absolutely love fighting nechyearls. They drop the exact same stuff as greater demons with those exceptions: They also drop seeds worth a lot of money. They also drop rune boots. They don't drop fire runes. They can drop 10 death runes in addition to the 5 death runes they drop. Instead of 15 chaos runes they drop 37 chaos runes. Overall, I'm glad I accomplished my goal of level 80 slayer, my dream has come true, and I'm glad it did. :-D I am going back to the first post to include what monsters I wanna fight next, I know I wanna fight 545 gargoyles, and after that 1,000 hill giants, but I'm not sure yet what I will fight after that.
