So, that's what I have to work with. I was retired for a couple years so TDs, GWD, etc. is all new to me. I never tried DKs in the past either due to apprehension... Essentially, I've done so much barrowing that I've grown a little sick of it. Looking for some different ways to make some cash. Eventually, looking at getting 99 defence/range/hits, 95 prayer & 96 summoning. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me? Maybe some guides to check out? Stats to work on? Anything will be appreciated. Thanks!

I did barrows from 80-98. Mind you, it wasn't very time conscious. 98-99 I enchanted in the mage training arena. Was pretty quick (got it in a day, 150-200k/h depending on focus) and only cost a little bit with the cosmics. Could even make the money better by varying the different activities and get the points to buy some items.

Initially, I'd say focus on a single account. My money making activities focus mainly on mage, range and runecrafting... I'd suggest barrows for the second account there. You've got slayer dart, decent prayer & defence levels. Almost any way you do it you'll pull a profit... Not sure what to do with the first account however. Maybe hunt chins for a while and then go after grenwalls?

Forgot I had some Penguin points and botched getting 1900... meh 1903 is that much better. Here's a snapshot of my current experience: I'd post a BoB, but it's pretty unorganized right now. I'd put my wealth at roughly 100m cash/armour/etc. plus whatever a Red & a Blue H'ween Mask are siting at, so... 300-320m? Short term, I'm planning on getting 85 Slayer and 99 Range. 99 Defence and Hitpoints are in the works as well. Going to carry on with leveling Dung with genie lamps for the foreseeable future... Came back a couple months ago and haven't taken the effort to even try it yet. Long term, I'm going for at least level 91 in one of each of the effigy pairings. Saving my effigies (9 so far) until I get the levels required. Thinking of camping barrows for some cash and 20m Magic exp as well. 2011's going to be busy if I manage to put in the time...

So I've been training slayer recently and have decided that I need a helm besides my slayer helm. Wondering what is best? I'm looking to do barrows, but would prefer something that isn't a barrows piece ie. torag's Money's no matter. Have a nice big cash pile to work off of...

I'd suggest blackjacking volunteers. Trap one and go to town on him. I did it the other day for a couple hours and was getting ~150k an hour. Important thing to note (which oddly some people don't realize...) is you can loot them up to 3 times while their knocked out.

I'd take 99 Agility and a variety of the other physical skills. Professional sports ftw. Of all fictional powers and items that have ever existed however... the force.

Undoubtedly. Who doesn't like setting and accomplishing goals? Even if people "irl" can't see what you've done, you sure can. And self recognition is what self esteem is all about.

Personally, I'm more comfortable doing it this way. I'm not going full bore to complete it as I have side goals as well. I want to get 85 attack by only meleeing Karil and the 3-5 blood worms to get my KC. I know KC doesn't affect chances of getting a Barrows item, but it does affect what and how many runes/bolts you get. And I find that 3-5 nets me a nice profit in an allowable amount of extra time per chest.

Intro I've been a scaper since way back when. Started in classic and fumbled my way around for a few years before I hit my stride in 06/07. As I did, my life also got a lot more complicated, so I simply stopped logging in. I've logged in a few times in the past couple years to see how everything was going, mock the newest updates, and even played around with summoning a while ago. As it is now, I'm back for another little stint, but with some distinct goals in mind. Immediately, those include: 91 Runecrafting and a Green Partyhat The Runecrafting I've always had a soft spot for runecrafting. When "Runescape 2" was released I didn't care enough to level it, but I mined essence like no other. Therefore, runecrafting was responsible for my first few million, and I hadn't even tried it. Eventually, I found it a good way to make money, earn some experience, and fuel my magic habits. Always had the long term goal of level 91 and regardless of natures being in the dumps right now, I figured it'd be worth another shot. Going to go at this most likely with 100% bloods and GOP. 0 Bloods Made... The Partyhat I had a Green Partyhat quite some time ago, think I had bought it for ~140m, but through some complicated circumstances I carelessly lost possession of it... I had earned that one almost exclusively by doing barrows, so I figure I'll try it again. Fortunately, prior to me quitting I had managed to save up and bought a Mask Set. Unfortunately, I sold the Green during one of my weekly returns to buy some runecrafting essentials. With the wonders of inflation, my investment had me sitting on a little nest egg of just under 300m. To achieve this, I'm going to do what I did best, which was Barrows (and sell off my longer term goal of 91 runecrafting...). I can usually do 3-4 chests per run and 2 runs per hour. Only spend roughly 18k on supplies per run. Lately, (without factoring in profit from items) I've been averaging approx. 320k profit an hour. Eventually I'll try and organize a barrows log as well. Left runescape a while ago to pursue university. Ended up dropping out after the first year to work/travel. Spent some time in Europe, South Africa (was even there to watch a few World Cup games :wink: ), and then back to Europe to hike and camp through Switzerland, Italy and Croatia. Just recently got back home, broke... but, now I have a year to play with until I go off to Nova Scotia for a four year program. Hurray!

And I agree, there's not much incentive to get 91 anymore, but it's been coveted for so long that it's all I can really place a goal on for runecrafting. Especially, being as how bloods are way behind me and 99 is so ridiculously far away.

I've been playing on/off since way back when. Came back to the game a week ago after a two year absence (and wow is there a lot to adjust to...) to finish off a longtime goal. Magic was always one of my favourite skills and today I finally achieved level 99. After many many many long hours of running around barrows, killing metal dragons, and alching everything I could see, I finally can check it off my list. I made a vast majority of my own runes, which leads to my next goal of level 91 runecrafting. And here's a little pic of my net worth. I'm going to make bloods until level 91, which will also help close the gap on another goal of mine, a partyhat. Thanks for having a look!

Thanks all. Double astrals are a little annoying to be honest haha. A 4 dose energy pot every 3 runs, a trip to the abyss every 10 runs, and a monk fish every 4 runs. Think I should take the time to get Summoning up there a bit to help with it?

I've just come back (aka: got p2p on the 15th) from a year+ long hiatus. I had all the bursts set and ready to go to Lobs, but decided I'll... not do so. My main focus at the moment is Runecrafting. Going to hunt down level 91 of course. I've decided in the mean time to finish off getting 99 Magic. My other goals are to get level 70+ for all stats and level 99 Range, Firemaking, and Crafting. Jimmy PS: Summoning level is 1 for the foreseeable future... ;) I've deemed myself too busy to have a new skill to try and manage.
