  1. Try the Ghouls to the west of Canifis. They should be good for a few more combat levels without needing much food or doing much clicking. *Edited to add that they only drop bones but I'm not sure if you are looking for drops or looking to save on food. If it's both, try Flesh Crawlers in the Security Stronghold.
  2. If you aren't concerned about not having the complete set for the effect, then go for it. Sounds smart :D
  3. You can count on the Guthan's set effect to heal you. I always have a shark or two with me, but that is just because I am overly cautious :)
  4. You need to choose the option to "squeeze past" the stalagmite I think. Try that.
  5. It will grow back, but only if you don't dig it up :D And you must dig it up to clear the plot for planting another tree.
  6. According to Tip.it's guide, you get 25 tokens for killing mith armour and 40 tokens for killing rune. I would go for the rune because even though it might take you longer to kill it you won't have to reset it so much.
  7. For some strange reason, your glory needs to be uncharged to be able to mount it. :)
  8. My only recollection is that it is a treasure trail map location.
  9. Indeed, using oak planks to train with is the way to go. No matter whether you build oak larders or carved oak tables you get the same amount of experience per plank and it is the most cost efficient. I personally use the method of cutting my oaks at the Remmington portal and then sending the butler to the sawmill, then build and tear out carved oak dining tables and repeat ad infinitum :)
  10. If you have the slayer level, range Bloodvelds. They are really, really good ranging experience and very fast. Wearing Ava's Device will help with picking up arrows if you have it from Animal Magnetism quest. :)
  11. I would be SO MAD. I have never had a stuffable (?) item drop. :(
  12. Is your mining level 43 now? I would do every quest you possibly can that gives mining experience, then train to level 49 and use a Dwarven Stout for the Heros quest. A mature Dwarven Stout will raise mining by 2 levels but they are a bit hard to buy.
  13. Try this set up: Torag plate and legs, berzerker helm, obby shield, whip, obby cape, rune boots. You probably will not be able to do the entire assignment without banking so take several antipoisons, supers last the longest, and a few stat increasing pots if you have them and some good food. When your antis run out, you can go back to workers if you are close to finishing your assignment. You are correct in saying they are great slayer experience, so good luck. Oh, and if you have Guthans it is really good armour to have here :D
  14. There seems to be some disagreement about this. The following note is from the Runescape Knowlege Base: Maybe there is conflicting information, not sure.
  15. I don't remember there being a specific order for using the winches. You do have the costume, right? Does your quest journal give you any help at all? Maybe try using the Runescape Quest Help feature. Sorry I'm not very helpful :?
  16. I'm not sure what is wrong. Try all the options with the winches, "use", "operate", etc., I can't remember exactly. It should be very simple and fast - this is the easiest feather to get if I remember correctly.
  17. Have you tried taking the feather yet? If not, do that first, then operate the winches.
  18. From the Runescape Knowlege Base: More than just a rumor :D
  19. Ice Warriors would be great too. Try the ones in the ice cave under White Wolf Mountain - where the Ice Queen is.
  20. If you don't want to go the pest control route, try the Ghouls west of Canifis. There are 2 locations very close to each other and you can run between the 2 to keep them aggressive - which they should stay until you are level 85 combat. Flesh Crawlers in the Security Stronghold are also good. I think they are a bit lower level than Ghouls, they are aggressive, and also give decent rune and herb drops.
  21. Lesser Demon. The only only one, ever. It's interesting how rare the scrolls are and how many of us have gotten the demon one though.
  22. But he is outside according to his picture. If he runs when they are outside he will get tossed out for sure :(
  23. That video is old enough that it is probably the original barrel glitch. :)
  24. Try making your move when both guards are on the south side of the stairs. I hated this quest. It's right up there with Sheap Herder in terms of its frustration level.
  25. Indeed. I got a big farming level once when I picked some papayas that had regrown - wasn't expecting that! :D I was mostly talking about the big "check-health" experience that you only get once though, because this made me think that should be pointed out in case it was misunderstood.
