  1. it doesent mater wich ones you have saved its just the ammount of them youve saved, so if u have rune gloves, you then can get the dragon ones by saving 1 more person Yes, I know that. I was only guessing that saving Awowogei is the one subquest he hasn't completed because of the defense you receive if you didn't take the training after Monkey Madness :D
  2. Whatever defense requirement is necessary to complete all subquests, except for final fight, is the defense you will need to get the gloves. There is not a specific level to "wear" them, only to have access to buy them. If you have rune gloves then you only have one subquest to go to get the red gloves, which one is it? I'm guessing it's saving Awowogei.
  3. Read this topic as well: The Ultimate Guide To The Abyss!. Read the what to wear and hints section. I agree about world hopping too. Find a world with lots of other crafters and ask if there are pkers at the zammy mage, most will let you know. Don't give up :)
  4. He didn't say he wanted to melee it. He was asking for advice, he's a new member.
  5. Desert Lizards is a task that the Burthorpe master assigns so he won't change it. You know how he always says something like " That is a bit harder than anything I would normally assign" ? Well, he can't say that about Desert Lizards because he does normally assign them. Sorry your stuck with them, they are a pain :(
  6. Seems like Infintity might be even more than Ahrims.
  7. There is also a knife spawn in the Lumbridge castle kitchen basement :)
  8. I remember this guide!! :) Thank you for reposting and updating it when you have a chance. It's very well written and full of great information.
  9. Yes, you will do the quest easily with your stats. If you are asking about gear for the final fight, I would definitely choose to range the demon from a distance while protecting from magic attack. He is very vulnerable to range attacks. You will do just fine. For the rest of the quest, take antipoisons and prayer and energy potions and some food and teleports. And read the quest guide on the Tip.it help site here: Monkey Madness
  10. Yes, he only hits with melee - in both forms.
  11. He hits with melee and on his second form he drains your prayer super fast.
  12. Oh my, that request for help was so totally NOT spam. :) Good luck finishing the quest.
  13. Sounds like you have some touchpaper in your bank. Have a look.
  14. Is telling him "no" your only chat option?
  15. Read this topic, it is the sticky at the top of the forum: Guide to Posting Images
  16. Yes, you have to pay to make the planks regardless of whether or not you take them to the sawmill or have your butler do it. Sorry if that was confusing.
  17. Whether you send him to the sawmill or the bank, you will have to pay the demon butler 10k for every 10 or so trips, so that remains constant. As the price to plank oak logs is the same via the butler or via your own hard work running back and forth to sawmill, s ending him to the sawmill saves you time. I build carved oak tables rather than larders (larders use 8 planks, carved tables use 6) the experience per plank is also a constant) because with a demon butler you can build 4 tables per inventory, only one wasted space. And my dining room is closer to portal than my kitchen, not to mention being able to use the bell to ring him without then running to kitchen.
  18. Here's another option for you that might save time and money since, based on your calculations, it appears you were planning on running your own oak logs to the sawmill. Take cash, saw and hammer in inventory and wield an axe, go to your house in Remmington. Exit portal and cut an inventory of oak logs. Go back into house in building mode, go to dining room, ring bell for butler, use logs on him and send him to the sawmill for 24 planks - less if it's not demon butler. Remove dining table, butler returns with planks, build and remove 4 carved oak tables. Repeat. I think the butler will ask for wages about every 10 trips or so. It is worth it to move your dining room to be adjacent to your portal while you train in this fashion. I used many methods and found this one to be the best for me :D
  19. You're on the right track, just don't wear any armour or wield any weapons or have any runes in your inventory to get into the tomb. Once in, grab another amulet and you will be able to get back into the waterfall.
  20. Apparently not. According to the Runescape Knowlege Base you need at least two skills to be level 99 to get a trimmed cape.
  21. I'm guessing you lost some of the stuff Elena gave you. If you teleported with it in your inventory that is probably the case. Go back to Elena and she will give you replacements. The chemist will speak to you about it when you have all of the elements in your pack.
  22. I agree, Flesh Crawlers are great and they drop lots of herbs and runes. The herbs drop under the runes quite often, so be sure to check. Also Ghouls are good - west of Canifis. They, however, only drop bones but are fairly close to the bank if you eventually need a bit of food.
  23. Someone posted to this brilliant guide yesterday: Going F2P with a full bank I bet you will find some good hints/help in it and maybe even an answer to your question :D
