  1. Oops, I guess I misunderstood your first post. Certainly didn't mean to insult your Barrowing abilities. Good luck anyway though. :)
  2. I believe you should post here: http://forum.tip.it/viewforum.php?f=61
  3. Save King Awowogei in Recipe for Disaster quest to get Ape Attol teleport. :D
  4. Hmm, do you have all the requirements for the quest, like the 55 quest points and the black armour? I'm assuming you have your ID papers from the Gruber in the other house in Brimhaven. Sorry if those questions sound silly, just trying to think of reasons it might not be working for you.
  5. Any chance you started the quest previously and have the key in your bank? I don't think you can even get inside to talk to Grip if you aren't in the Black Arm Gang.
  6. Sure will, it might take some time for the market to catch up but if there are autoers killing blue dragons, it will definitely have an effect :x
  7. Wow, that's a nice guide, thanks for linking it.
  8. I think 60k is the top price for a papaya seed, of course it all depends on the market at any given time or day. If you are going to be doing a lot of woodcutting and no farming maybe you could hang onto your seeds and nests and sell them when you find someone offering a fair price. High level tree and fruit tree seeds are always in demand from high level farmers, it's finding the farmer that takes the time :)
  9. Don't feel bad, it could have been any seed. If indeed it was a seed worth in the area of 60k it could have been a yew seed, calquat seed, or papaya or palm seed, presuming the noob knew the actual value :)
  10. For me the fastest was Swamp Lizards until I was a few levels past being able to hunt Orange Salamanders and then on to the Red Salamandars. I am now hunting Dark Kebbits but I think the Red Sallys are faster so I'm going back to those :D
  11. I read the Tip.it Barrows Guide many times as I was starting to be a serious Barrower. It is even better now than it was then. Start with the recommended gear and inventory and you will soon find your own efficiencies. Good luck :D .
  12. I doubt you will realize any big benefits from the sara brew/super restore combo with your method of barrowing and I certainly wouldn't invest in more than one set to test with. I'm guessing the cost of that combo will outweigh your current set-up which seems very efficient for your current melee/range/mage levels.
  13. Aside from using them to buy brewers yeast from the brewery in Port Phasmatys, I can't think of another use for them. Although I think there was a recent quest that required a few, just can't remember which one.
  14. Sounds like you have the routine down very well. I agree about zammy book, by the way, if you have it. And definitely use your Torags, it will help you save food in the tunnels while you are gettting your kill count where you want it. Again, good luck.
  15. To save time replace ecto, duel ring and one lob with house teleport. Or if you have it, a house teletab, then you can take more food. Otherwise your inventory looks good. Ahrims would be better than mystic, and other upgrades will be good when you have the cash to invest. Also, you will find a more efficient order of killing the brothers if you can learn to use the meleeing safe spots in the tunnels rather than killing them in the crypts but you will discover this over time. Good luck, I hope you get Guthan's Spear very soon :D
  16. Dagannoths drop fairly good seeds too.
  17. I had a fairly low combat level when I started getting fire giants as slayer assignments. When I wanted to train melee rather than range I used my dragon halberd in the Brimhaven dungeon. Take enough food to outlast the agressive dogs and settle into a safe spot in the upstairs area. Combat potions or attack and str pots will help you make quicker work of them.
  18. Monkfish are about as fast as lobsters to catch and give more experience than shark, so yes :D
  19. It will change, can't remember to what exactly but it won't say "fermenting" any longer. Also, you can buy a Greenman's Ale at the pub in Yanille if your brew goes bad :)
  20. I'll try to do a test too using a friends gilded altar with mahogany burners. If there is no difference in the experience amassed then I will send a query to Jagex, as that particular info in the KB is very misleading if that is the case.
  21. I built the marble burners because of this information from the Runescape Knowlege Base: "These values are based upon having the best burners. If you have lower level burners, you will find there is a difference in the experience you will receive." Is there really no difference in the prayer experience you get if you have a lower level burner with a gilded altar? :( Because that was a chunk of change to spend.
  22. Yes it will, and the enchanted salve will work even better. You will learn that during the miniquest :)
  23. I disagree, 57 prayer IS awesome in my opinion - especially at that combat level. :D
