  1. Its cooler but i like the lighting contrast of the old one better
  2. I trained by lumby, fish, cook, sell to store and repeat, and as it was said previously, you make enough money to buy more feathers
  3. farming is one of the most boring skills. You should first train thieving or fletching, which are much more useful, seeing as fletching makes a lot of money, and thieving can get you the seeds for farming (if you really like farming). Anyways, to farm VERY efficiently, you need pretty darn high skills and to have done quite a few quests.
  4. the gypsy will tell you sometime. and about his sig, i think it's a joke.
  5. really? the kb doesn't say whether or not they are members, so I assumed they were f2p..
  6. you should check the knowledge base on RS.com: it gives a list of all the quests and what skills they give exp. to. go to the KB and then go to quests and then go to quest experience page. and as for smithing, the best one would be knight's sword (12,725 or so smithing)
  7. train agility, it'sa a very useful skill.
  8. erk!! lagged and accidentally double posted..
  9. from treasure trails, but since your an f2per, you can only get 'em from other players. Try world 1 (or 3 or 4) varrock west bank, lotsa selling htere.
  10. I just wanted to know if the new TT vestments are f2p.
  11. are you sure? because i used the tip.it combat calc, and at 10hp, 99 prayer, and 1 everything else, it returned a combat level of 18. EDIT: now THIS is weird: apparently I got the wrong number before, it really ends up being level 15.
  12. erm.. i just realized that smite should NOT be a problem: a PURE prayer pure would be just about level 18 with 99 prayer. Most people don't train prayer to 52 before hitting level 18. This would be even beter [provided that the vestments are f2p] in free play, where you would be murderous to all people in the wild up to level 20 something wildy, because you got yoursaelf a weapon that's probably as strong as an addy scimmy, and site can't be used in f2p. ownt.. :P
  13. that's exactly what I said....
  14. has anybody mentioned the October Postbag from the hedge: First, he must be an opponent of Traiborn. So any theory involving Traiborn and him teaming up is gone. Next, if you notice the signature, it says "strength through wisdom." that is the same signature that Saradomin signed in the god letters. Obviously, he is somewhat against Saradominism, since he did not go to Entrana. Perhaps he seeks to war with the god himself?
  15. maybe a prayer tank would be good?
  16. umm.. why would they use a bronze weapon? the new croziers are just as good as some addy weapons. Also, a prayer mage-hybrid wouldn't be too bad, seeing as almost all the new items give a + to mage attack.
  17. so maybe it's not that great for the wildy, but imagine it in pest control (strength and prayer pure). and: has anyone thought about the secatuers thing yet?
  18. dang; i checked it up; in total proselyte (helm, plate, legs) gives 18 prayer bonus; but vestments (mitre, robe top, robe bottom) gives 13. but then again, stoles give a 10 prayer bonus. *another interesting thing: I've heard that magic secatuers are usable as weapons that deal damage according to your farming level. if that's true, then you can also have a farming pure.. mwahahah!!
  19. actually, if I'm correct here, this vestments are better since there is a sword and shield, the sword giving +10 prayer. Correct me if I'm wrong..
  20. i was going for mostly a strength-prayer hybrid, because the crozier gives a +32 strength bonus, so you still minimize your combat level. Maybe not a pker, but it would smash against NPC's at pest control and stuff.
  21. LOL... 1) yews are 290-300ea 2) nats are 280-320ea dangit!! my head is stuck with prices from two years ago.. sigh. well, you would still make 60some gp off of each, which isn't too bad of a profit.
  22. Well, in the wake of the big treasure trail update, i noticed that Jagex has added a whole new dimension to the wildy: Prayer pures. How? The new vestments; true they aren't too great, but prayer will last almost forever in those things. If you don't agree with me, i can see why, because they'd be too weak to kill anything; so, taking that into account, they have opened the doors to prayer hybrids. (normal pures, to the extent of my knowledge, don't train prayer). Post your thoughts on this, if you agree or disagree, and back up what you say.
  23. urm.. you buy the yews {200 ea} and then buy the flax {100 ea}. You buy nats at 250(ish) each, and that's 550 spent. Yew longs high alch for 768 gp. so, assuming you have a fire staff, you make 218 gp per bow.... which pwns.
  24. i personally like the rats in varrock sewers, because there are a good load of them. AThe only bad part about those rats are the noobs that actually do combat training on them.
  25. im pretty sure you need to equip the weapon too.
