  1. I don't care whether people say it is a bad guide, because it offers some pretty good useful information for all us woodcutters out there

willows at draynor is generally accepted to be the fastest xp, even up to 99. In addition, you never need to worry about the trees running out or a long walk to the bank.
  3. i cannot mine rune, but I have gone on many pk trips with my clan, and we usually make rounds around the rune rocks. Here are my suggestions to get away. wear dhide to protect from magic better, its also lighter than metal armors. You can run your way out of a lot of situations, but you have no hope if they start binding you. Having a high mage level will also boost your defenses against binds. As soon as you see white dots approaching, you should try to log out and world switch. Make sure private chat is off or on private, so they can't follow you. However, if it is a good pking group, they are going to be coming in fast. Therefore, I suggest you MOVE before you try to click the log-out. Always have run on, and always run to the west of the rune rocks. You will be running into multi-combat, but a couple more clicks west will put you into single-combat again. Once you are in single-combat, run south, and maybe try to log again. With your high defense and dhide on, very few people will be able to kill you as you flee through single-combat. This should go without saying, but have good food. You will NOT survive without something to eat if a group starts attacking you. If you want to know where the multi-combat areas are so you can steer clear, use tis map: http://tip.it/runescape/html/wild_map.htm
  4. erm, if you have played as long as you claim, you have seen a autoer. RSC was full of them. Everywhere. Out of the top 50, more than 20 was autoing or rule breaking, TKS, number one rs player over a long period of time, autoing. 8 people on my friend list. all above 100 combat which was a great achievement at those rsc times, was openly admitting to use auto programs such as **** and ********. Even so, I never saw a autoer while playing. I was mainly coal mining back in rsc, as it was THE best money making skill of the time and yet I never saw a autoer. If you still question my "age" in rs, I could show you my scythe or simply take a pic of my log in message (haven't changed my password, recoveries and such since mid february 2002) Matok: I'm just irritaded by the fact that most ppl report first, ask questions later (if they do so at all). go to the yews above rimmington or the karamja fishing spot on any f2p world. they all look and act the same, and you can drop a trail of yews that the woodcutters will blindly follow
  5. they're not bad after 85 the times can vary wildly, but i usually get a full load in somewhere from 5-8 minutes at 87 woodcutting (almost 88)
  6. if you drop items in the house they will eventually disappear
  7. all of the polls I've seen don't acknowledge the fact that high-detail can get annoying and get in your way, even if it runs fine on your computer. The roofs make it harder to get in and out of buildings, especially if they have doors in funny places. The grass and crud on the ground makes it harder to see whats on the ground, and frankly, I find a lot of it ugly.
  8. bones are made of calcium sulphate its a metal...:P ya but usually not enough to contain magnetic properties, i mean these bones would have to be made of a large amount of metal, calcium sulphate isnt magnetic enouhg, the sulphate kinda cancels it out (btw caclicum sulphate isnt a metal, its a compound formed of a metal (calcium) and a nonmetal (sulfur)) i believe the formula is C2SO4 i've tested bone bolts also, they come back. no i try the long and shot kebbit bolts, and my theory of mettallic bones in rs will be complete. If anyone can think of something else to try with attractor tell me jeezus!!! bones are made out of primarily calcium phosphate, which is NOT a metal and not magnetic (in the real world). neither calcium nor phosphate alone are magnetic either. The only explanation is that either jagex made a mistake, or ava's attractor/accumulator is magical and can pick up bones that don't exist in real life.
  9. no wonder the minimap gets misaligned from the camera!!! I thought I was going crazy!!!!
  10. I've been doing that since I started playing clearly someone has never been to the mort myre swamp clearly someone has never burnt level 100+ mor'ton shades and turned in the keys ($$$$$). however, i think anything over 80 firemaking is still useless this happens when someone is doing one of the grand tree quests, you can even see human players in the jail (you get jailed for a short while) you CAN sled, and its pretty cool. On the ice path you can put the sled down and walk or run normally, but it looks like you're sledding. you can only put it down on the ice path as far as I know, I forgot to try it at the karamja snow event. I think you can get a replacement small pouch from the dude in the abyss some more cool things: after doing the "between a rock quest" you can beg dondakan (crazy dwarf who shoots you into the gold mine) for his granite boots. If you're persistent, he will let you tell him how much you'd pay for them. I've tried offering him several million, but he always just laughs at you. some people have already mention you can get tree spirits from clicking on a tree without an axe, I've also gotten a rock golem by accidentally clicking on a rock (i had no pick with me) THis is more of a complaint, but the shades in the tombs in mort'ton have buggy animations and are often not where they appear, I've attacked shades who appear to be 10+ squares away with a whip (but when they die, their remains magically appear next to you) if you drink a barrel of beer (found in the fremmenik long hall) the screen shakes for about a minute and it does something nasty to your attack level (cuts it in half or something) also, in the garden of tranquility quest, you steal 2 statues (from fally and lummy). I think people can see you as you begin moving it out (when i was doing it, people around me were like, what the heck is going on), and once you've finished, the statues are moved forever (for you)
