  1. I didn't know they had those. :P I can die a happy woman now.
  2. I like you. :D LP... Shouldn't have failed Algebra in the first place. But, you don't need to hear that. Let me tell you a story. (YAY!) When I was in 7th grade, I had a math teacher that did not speak English. She was fresh outta Korea. She didn't know English, but she knew math, and she certainly knew how to fail people. I'm HORRIBLE at math. I always have been, and I think she basically crushed my chances of ever being good at it. For awhile, I was failing math. But, a few students and I all got together and started to try and teach each other how to do what she was trying to teach us. We also appointed another kid in class to try her best to translate what she was saying. Once some kids got it, they all started teaching the rest of us, and I passed that class with a C. (Granted, I had math 2nd hour and keyboarding with computers complete with Internet access 3rd hour... So Google taught me alot as well.) You need to keep your morale up and start applying yourself more. I know that other people can piss you off, but don't let them get inside your head, man. Just focus on your schoolwork. It's something you HAVE to do, and you only get basically one chance to lay down the basic foundation for your future. You cannot plant the seeds for failure in the future. You're in 11th grade this year (so am I), so you need to keep your future in mind at all times. If you screw up now, you're not going to get another chance later. Don't let temporary problems or whatever cloud your judgment. Do what you gotta do and that's it.
  3. I'm a girl. Haven't cut my hair in probably four or five years. Except to get the dead ends trimmed off. ^_^
  4. Yeah. Made that up just now... I really should get out more. ^_^ If I ever meet you, man... We're gonna ride an elevator. I'd actually be interested in meeting someone I met off here. I've always wanted to walk up to someone and say "Hi, I'm from the internet." But I wouldn't have such an extreme fear of elevators if my friends had never of started a game called come out of your corners and fight, or whatever. Basically in boxing in an elevator, with constant jumping around, until finally some cable will snap and make the thing fall at a fast pace to the basement I guess it was. Also, one time I was on one when a guy turned around and just stared at me the whole time. I swear that's the freakiest thing ever  Lol. That game sounds incredibly scary. I wouldn't play it on an elevator. O.O And that guy probably thought you were puuuurrrrrrddddyyyy... I'm so glad Biabf and others liked my story! :D I likes writing.
  5. I have never had the pleasure of laughing so hard that something came out of my nose. I've seen it happen to alot of my friends though. :D I have however, laughed so hard, I spit my drink all over someone. That was kinda embarrassing, but it made me laugh harder.
  6. Just talk to her like you would a friend. ^_^ Keep in mind that you can't be "guyish" around her. You know, you can't playfully punch her or something, or talk about all the girls you think are hot. Generally, you should avoid the sex talk (yes, Carlo, I know it's interesting. :P) until later. If you start talking about that too soon, then she'll think you're a perv. Just loosen up a bit and be yourself. It's no big deal, really. Good luck!
  7. It is very nice. I love her dress. But, her hair needs to flow more on the right side of her head. The length doesn't really fit the rest of the hair... Also, there's no white space in her right eye.
  8. Lol. I like that last one. :P
  9. last night i was grabbed from behind from a claw.. and drug under my bed.. VERY real.. but i knew it was a dream so i was like w00t adrenal rush! woke up and my heart was goin off da hook Lol. What was under your bed? Hell? Silent Hill?
  10. Awesome. I think that I'm getting a car soon too. :D I love the car. Don't speed, or drive without a license... and be smart with it. ^_^
  11. Lol. Rose, I thought that was a list of the ones you had. I thought, "Wow... Rose is strange indeed..."
  12. Yeah. Made that up just now... I really should get out more. ^_^ If I ever meet you, man... We're gonna ride an elevator.

    Awesome! Really nice!
  14. Ok, picture this... One night, you wake up extremely thirsty. As a matter of fact, you've never been so thirsty in your entire life. You push the covers off of you and stumble out of bed. You walk cautiously through your dark house, rubbing your eyes so they'll become accustomed to the dark faster. Ahead, you see your HUGE windows, pale moonlight pouring through them, casting the white light onto the walls. Sleepily you make your way toward the light source, as outside, the wind picks up, making your house creak and the branches on the trees and bushes outside scratch against the exterior walls. You are momentarily distracted by this noise. You pause and look around as a shiver makes its way slowly down your spine. Your eyes ache dully as you realize that you are standing in front of the huge windows, the moonlight illuminating your body. For a split second you feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. You can feel it. Something is about to go terribly wrong. Just as you think your paranoia and fear of your windows are getting the best of you.... BAM! The sound of something hitting the glass on the window. You snap your head toward the noise to see the silouhette of a human outside of your window. Its hands are raised into fists above its head, and its shadow is cast on the wall behind you. You open your mouth to scream, and try to force your legs to work but all you can do is stand there, frozen in fear. Outside the window you hear a muffled sound. ".....uuuurrrrrggggghhhhh....." The human-like figure pulls both fists back and hits the window again. You can hear glass cracking. The best you can do at this point is back up until your back hits the wall. In the distance, behind the figure at your window, you can see more human-like things staggering toward your window. Their shadows sway along the wall and grow larger and larger as they get closer and closer. Hungry, mindless, moans fill the night air outside of your window. "Zombies!" your mind screams, although you refuse to believe it. There are at least seven figures outside your window now, blocking the moonlight from entering through the cracked glass. With one final blow to the window, you see it break, though the CRASH reaches your ears much later. Everything seems to go in slow motion now as they crawl in through the window, ignoring the pain as the glass still attached to the windowsill cuts them. They find their feet and stagger slowly toward you, arms outstretched, mouths gaping open... You try to run but your legs give out under you. You curl up into a little ball as the zombies get closer... and closer... and.... I'll stop there. :P
  15. I can't believe that no one has mentioned COPS yet! That's one of the most badass shows out there! I too love CSI and Law and Order (SVU ftw). I am the only one I know who likes these shows though. :(
  16. I often wonder if my math would improve if I knew the metric system. But, I was never taught the metric system in school. And volume measurements.... :( #-o EDIT: I didn't even know there was such thing as a kilogram... O.o

Popularity isn't a huge issue at my school. Everyone has respect for everyone else, which is extremely awesome. However, you know there are some people that are more well-known than other people, because they participate more in school acitivites, (everyone knows the football players and the members of the Journalism staff) but, they're not treated any differently than anyone else. In the old school that I went to, however, popularity was everything. That's mainly why I moved.
  18. I'm an American. And I am absolutely not trying to start any kind of flame war here but, it is pretty disrespectful for you guys to say that people in America are stupid, never do anything right, etc. That being said, I have used our system of measurement my entire life. And speaking from my point of view, it would be very very difficult for me to convert, mainly because I'm horrible at math, and I'm even worse in the department of math that requires me to measure something. I do not know how long a meter is. I do not know how heavy a kilogram is. I do not know how far a kilometer is. Have I tried to learn? Yes. On many different occassions. But, I find it harder to learn when I cannot relate it to anything in my life. I, for one, do not judge anyone based on the country that they hail from. But, everyone seems to judge me because I'm American. I don't care what you guys think of me, because I know that in the end, actions speak louder than words. However, we've had so many topics here about judgment and discrimination, and it hurts me to see how some of you have replied to this topic. I like this community because the majority of you are open-minded, interesting people. I never thought I'd find that in a bunch of Runescape players. :P So, live and let live. :D
  19. Yeah. I hope you have fun! ^_^ Take pictures! Please!
  20. Zombies. :P
  21. Me too! ^_^ But, I didn't freak out like that kid. My dad just brought one home one day and gave it to me and my brother and we were like, "O.O thank you!".
  22. I have claustrophobia- fear of enclosed spaces and I also have acrophobia- fear of heights. For those who are wondering, fear of the dark is called achluophobia. EDIT: I have a friend that has genuine catoptrophobia which is the fear of mirrors.
  23. This is awesome.... Truly! ^_^ Great job!
