Actually, Matt is quite right about Religion holding back the development of society. It (science) was suppressed by the Christian Church soon after the collapse of the Roman Empire and remained like that for almost 600 years. well yes and no Europe was held back by religion because the church wanted the bible to be law and in most countrys it was however early religion was almost a form of science to early man but for the most part of the last 3000 years it has slowed scientific progress. befor anyone flames me i do believe in a god but i do not believe that he controls are destinys(sp?)

Intelligent Design belongs in a Theology class so if a school decided to include that in their curriculum then that's where they should teach it, there's nothing scientific about it and doesn't belong in a science class. i agree 100% ID states that if something is complicated then a higher power made it (i wish algerbra was that easy x=x and y=y lol) Evolution states that if life changes ethor by a mutation of sexualreproduction and can live easer its gona pass that stuff to its kids (so if you can breath water and then your kids may be able to also and if the air goes away then more power to you)

You can use wmware to host a vitural windows machine then run the games inside the virtual machine ;) Altho technically it would be windows running the game. so would i be able to run everything that runs on windows with it?i dont care about speed and also do i need anything for me to install linux other than the cds so will i need an adapeter?

firefox has addblock so you can block most of the adds on runescape

A long time ago when the world was still new. Man was terrorized by the creatures surrounding them. He was given a choice, go into slavery or be eaten by their captors. But there were some who resisted. They lived in caves and the dense forests praying to Guthix to help them. Guthix felt pity on the men. So he sent a rock of metal to land upon the world. Man discovered this rock and named the metal from it Dragon. The men forged the rock into many forms. Then men knew the rock would not be sufficient to arm everyone against the creatures so they created the dragon pickax. This pick could mine the runite rocks in one hit. Man emptied the world of all but 5 known runite rocks. As the men were heading to find the 2 rocks rumored to exist in the far north. The power of Zamorak turned the men against each other. They were the first men to be slain by their own kin and their spirits were forever lost and thus forced to roam the lands for all eternity. Few men lived to see the end of this war. But those who did wish they had not for after the order was restored the creatures came. They consumed the men and thus the pickaxes with them. The men had been blown a massive hit, many of the rebels had fallen their picks had been lost and the creatures were now aware of their presence in the world. The men were forced to find a way to defend themselves against the creatures so they made axes from the metals they had collected and harvested the trees. They built a massive fortress from the wood and fortified it with their strongest warriors. At midday the creatures discovered the fortress and attacked the woodcutters were trapped and stood no chance against them they all fell to their power. However the walls were too high to scale and to strong to destroy so the creatures failed to claim the fortress. The men knew they had to act soon to save their kin and overthrow their enemies for they would be back with greater numbers soon. The men were now skilled enough to make armor and weapons and thus they did. Within a week the men had an army of over 10,000 in full dragon and many times more with full rune. At midnight the alarm sounded the creatures were coming again. Demons, dragons, kalphites, even the dragonkins came to end the last resistance. The walls of the city were all the defenders in dragon were placed were blown down. Peasants rushed from their homes in all forms of armor in time to watch the creatures feast on their cities defenders. The peasants attacked their opposition with unimaginable fury. well an autotyper probly dose enter the keys almost simutanisly so i personaly like the idea of mesuring the speed of the typer. considering the speed that computers can process data that can easly be over 100 letters a second. the worlds fastest typer has a max speed of 212 wpm and a advrage speed of 170wpm. 1 word is about 5 letter long so lets say the fastest posible is 250wpm multiply that by 5 is 1250 letters a minet divide that by 60 is about 20 letters a second. i think if jagex dose make somthing like this they should go by the speed and number of errs.

this is how it will work player wont shut up so gods send him to quiet place if player keeps talking he get 2 warnings after both warnings are up ech time he talks he louses 1 hit and time extended 5 seconds if player dies then stuff is removed from game and a 2 minet mute in active on the player if the player dose not talk and is released after 30 seconds with a few k as reward btw lots of autotypers are probly not paying enought atenchen to the game and sometimes walk away that is why you can sometimes get a phat for free

fally and varrock are dominated with auto typers.you have heard one befor they are the people that can go red:wave:selling whip 3.9 million ---player name--- selling whip 3.9million!!!! 5 times a second. y dosent jagex give random events to people that type that fast.after about 2 minets of doing this you know the guy would have slowed down typing if it was a human.maby a random event that teles you to a "quiet space" and if you dont shut up it starts hitting you 1s and 2 every time you talk.if you are quiet for 30 seconds then u get a few k as a reward otherwise each time you talk adds 5 seconds and removes 1 health from you. if you die you go back to lumby and your stuff u died with may be scaterd acrosed the screen or they could just disipear.

what i ment by the economy is dieing is that inflation on raw materals is making it harder to raise lvls so many are resorting to scamming and becoming merchants (in my apinion are almost as bad). however if they make pohs payed for by the time you are on runescape then people with 200million will take the more exspencive houses(atleast i think they would). the price thing is just a joke did you not notice outhouse, dollhouse and city.

most people know that the economy is breaking down. inflation is taking over the game in many areas. on the runescape forums jagex mentioned that pohs may come by the end of the year. i was thinking that if they charged you for your house then they may be able to save the economy(outhouse=1gp an hour,deuplex=100gp an hour,2 story house with garden=100k an hour,castle=500k an hour,city=own jagex,doll house=100gp each). the only problem with this idea is that scamming may go up but since everyone is complaning about mass bannings lattly maby they already figured that out. however if they do somthing like this then inflation may stop or reverse itself untill people get bored with their houses.

i got civ 4 yesterday it rocks but the interface needs desprate improvement. i think that the next 2 weeks will be used finding all bugs in game and then december will be used to fix everyting then the next year will be used to fix wut i screwed up by fixing everything lol.

its like the enviroment. hole in ozone in south pole - most industrial nations are in northern hymisphere not many in south.and the wind curents are relitivly sepreated so not much stuff travels between the 2 hymispheres so were is the holes in the ozone layer in north pole(i think it should be 2 or 3 times as large) global warming - the earth is warming you can not deniy that but a single vocano eruption releases more co2 than every car in the world running for about a day(can not conferm that but i know its realy big).we have also just returned from an ice age so the earth is warming and ice reflects light so as the ice melts more light will be asorbed by the sun(faster defrost).

i flew to disneyland in octobor of 2001 i wasnt afrade i dont see why people are.i understood the 5day wate from 9/11 but people should not be that scared(the plane i flew on wasnt even half full).its like parants not letting their kids have any friends or letting them on the net because they are afrade of drugs and child preditors.if you teach people how to react everyone will be ok.

only downside with firefox is the sound on rs dosent work but tabed brousing and cusimization is far better than that.also most of the music on rs isnt that good so just make sure ur not being atacked when brousing on other sites. i can also say that my entire family uses firefox now and i somehow erased ie on my computer lol

i think that google should mke google earth into a screen saver.
