With my understanding the only bodys in this solar system that have ever been or will be sutible for life are Earth Mars and Europa. Mars is a dry plannet but evedince exists that it was wet earler life would have to live under gound to even have a chance at living. We have never even seen under the ice on Europa so there could be as much life there as on Earth. If we do find life on another world and it is just a few hundred of years behind us then we would not be able to talk and if the race is extremly advanced then they will probly not find us intristing enough to talk to. The distances between stars along would prevent any transit between the worlds also because they would be at a miniulm of 4 light years away.

And although it is widely accepted as a good basis for time estimation, in the scientific field it is also noted that Carbon 14 has shown inaccuracies and could be completely inaccurate. Everything you just said is still nothing but speculation as no one was there to watch it happen. Carbon14's decay rate is 5730 years. when you talk about time spans of hundreds of millions of years a 300,000year err is exceptible to most people. There is nothing i can say that will prove to you that this happend but some people can not be convinced.

Evolution may not be fully predictible however DNA changes constantly. Every now and then the DNA mutates calsing canncer i think that viruses inplant their own DNA into a cell maby even changing it. sexual reproduction allows dna to change with every generation. these changes are random some trates are stronger than others but it is still is unpredictible. we dont even know what 90% of are DNA controles. Other factors also affect lifes evolution. the permian mass extinction released toxins into the air killing off most species oxygen lvls were only 10% reptiles have a more advanced lung system than mamles so they were better adapted to live. but eggs are not an safe method of childbirth, so mamles developed a plecenta to bear live young. mamles remained small during the Mesozoic era but reptiles were allowed to grow large. the Cretaceous mass extinction killed of massive amounts of vegitation and lowerd the surface tempature. the large reptiles could not eat and were freasing because they couldnt maintain their body tempeture so they died. these are the events that lead to mamles becoming the domminent form of life. the first extinction was a massive vocanic event and the second was a rock from space. a biological theory can not predict ethor one of those events but it was able to explane the outcome of those.

For instance, if a type of bird kept getting eaten while it was sleeping at night - that species might adapt themselves to become nocturnal. Evolution would happen when a species has to adapt so much...they evolve into a different species of animal. Theoretically its how humans came to be. Actually, adaptation isn't entirely the right word for the process. The genes of a species as a whole don't change, it's mutation in the individual genomes that cause evolution. The most adapted genes will be passed on and become dominant, the least adapted genes will die out. The species as a whole doesn't evolve, it's the mutation of the individual genome that makes the difference. Right, and eventually the whole species changes. And eventually, the species changes into another species. I don't understand how what you said is any different than what I did. You just used bigger words to say exactly what I did. :roll: well you stated species unsed of an indeveduial. if a species evolves as a whole then the speciace will remain so there would be no monkeys. if a grup of indeviduials evolve then now there are 2 difrent species so thats why there is man and monkey.

Also about Newton's law of gravity, even that needed to be tweaked because it only illustrates the similar forces in play. einstein modified the law of gravity based on new observations with the theories of relativity nethor have been disproven in the past 90+ years but they are still called theorys.

It's never been a law, you know. More of a tradition. I think its called the first amendment but i guess that the United States Constitution doesn't count as a law. first amendment states that the country will not favor one religion over another or in any way hinder another religion. Atheism is a form of a religion therefor if they teach that evolution is flawed then it would harm MY religion. also i don't believe that ALL the other religions teach that life was created by a Godlike being. And ID is not a scientific theory, their is no way to prove ID and it only says that stuff like DNA can not form naturally so some Godlike being formed it. to say that the Theory of Evolution is just a theory is like saying that the Theory of Gravity is just a theory. ID completely ignores the whole scientific method and if we give equal time to both ID and Evolution will mean that either they force me to read genesis or just give us a crossword puzzle to solve with a few words.

evolution is going to be slower for humans than other species because we modify the environment to suit are needs. we will most likely louse all body hair except on are heads we may Even stop baldness. humans will not grow too much taller or shorter and because of computers are brains will not need to grow much. we will get many times weaker than we are now because of the lack of need for muscle. we will remain one species until we begin to colonize different solarsystems we will no longer be one species, after that it is anyone's guess. this is assuming we do not kill ourselves or drastically change our DNA.
