Teak trees near Castle Wars?
Sorry, can't access the map ... but the one and only teak tree there is all the way to the south west below the castle. Cross the two bridges to the south and the walk all the way southwest until you see the little tree icon at the bottom of the area.

Green drags or Blue drags?
My preferred method was picking off the blue dragons at the Ogre Enclave ... lots of nice safe spots there and it's rarely busy, with the banks at CW or Yanille at a nice distance. As to what weapon to use it really depends on your personal preferences. I have used iron knives all the time, because they are easy and fast to make ... I never buy anything I can make myself and I absolutely hate to gather feathers. Knives will hit lower numbers, but they are faster than a bow. You can also wear the anti-dragon shield when using knives, which was a life saver for me a few times when I lagged or even worse got booted to the desktop while running to get in position. No fun getting broiled by dragon fire when there is nothing you can do about it. Just take a few of each, and test what you like best. The crystal bow does give you nice hits, however, if your goal is making money, the cost of recharging it takes a hefty bite out of your profit. As far as food is concerned, I take just one swordfish as a safety measure, which I eat at the end to have more space --- need to get rid of 1,800 of them to get more bank space

Nat Crafting w/ Fairy Rings
If you have amulets of glory, there is a slightly faster way. 1) Fill up with pure essence in Zanaris (don't forget your nature tiara!) 2) use fairy ring to Karamja lake (ckr I think) and run west to nature altar 3) craft nats 4) use glory to Edgeville, deposit runes, fill up with essence again 5) run over bridge and south to fairy ring to return to Zanaris 6) immediately dial to go back to Karamja lake 5) repeat from there. You don't even have to go all the way to Zanaris to start, you can just do it from Edgeville ... start with 4).

ali morissane rune shop
Took me a while to find it again, but I used this handy little tool made by Jeebe. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=221 ... t=#2219349 Helped me a lot, since I also am not very good at solving those puzzles.

How to get food easily on Ape Atoll
Sorry, didn't realize how low your agility is  At your level you've quite likely been falling quite a bit, and it won't get better until you are at least 65. If you really want to use it, and don't want to spend too much time picking and collecting fruit, your best bet would be to grab a couple of bananas to help the teleport, and then use rings of dueling, heal at the castle war chest, and then bounce back with the ape atoll teleport. Of course that will use up some runes, but it is an option. You can also use the pineapple, which grows at the end of the slide ... if you use a knife and SLICE, not dice, you will get 4 slices at 2 hp per slice. Just collect a pineapple after each run, then you can slice whenever needed. On the bright side .... once you are over 70 your falls will be greatly reduced.

How to get food easily on Ape Atoll
I usually grab some bananas, either from the crate in the warehouse north of the bridge, or from the banana grove where the monkey child is.

Regicide, ready to go?
The problem with the start of regicide is not fighting, but traps depending on your agility level .... and protection from melee is not going to help you there ... a couple of agility potions also wouldn't hurt .... had to rescue some poor soul last week who just could not make it back out of the elf woods .. but he also did not bring a tele device  P.S. I hope you remember how you crossed the tiles before the gate, it remains the same pattern as in Underground Pass.

Regicide, ready to go?
You also need a bow and arrow to get across the first chasm. And I guess with "shade" you do mean "spade"? You might need to restock, but you have to leave and come back to Elfland anyway :), so it should not be a problem.

Help (Deseret Treasure)
No, you do not have to do several trips. I just did it this weekend and I could bring notes.

Help (Deseret Treasure)
If you are talking about the material to make the mirrors, you can note the magic logs, steel bars and molten glass.

productive stuff i can do while high alching?
I sometimes do it in Shilo ... either collecting seaweed picking up the spawns and alching until they respawn again ... or if the gem mine there is empty, mine gems and alch until the rocks respawn, this goes for other areas where rocks respawn slowly too. Now I do it mainly when I'm growing expensive herbs, but that will be a while ... considering your farming level.

Need Help
You can either pickpocket bandits (53 thieving) or you can buy them at the rogue's den in Burthorpe (50 agility required).

best place to pick and spin flax? price check on nats?
Once you have done the King Lathas quests -- Underground pass, Regicide and Roving Elves -- which give you access to the Elfland, the best place to pick is south of the bank of Lletya.

The day I handed over a Dragon Chain.
I so love a good story, and yours are the best!! It's so rare to read about something which just makes you feel good ... most people just like to complain, but I believe that there are nice people playing the game ... it's just a tad harder to find them. Looks like both of you definitely belong in the "good guy" category too. And one of these days this scaredy cat will face the queen too .... with a bunch of her fellow buddies  Did I say days??? Ah, I meant months ... years ....

Too Much or Too Little?
No, you are not the only one. I too enjoy the quests, silly or serious, long or short, I have enjoyed all the ones I have done so far. Most of my aspirations to gain higher levels were actually based on quest requirements, e.g. to make the bullseye lantern for Tears of Guthix. Considering all the computer games I have played over the years, and believe me there were a lot of them, I always rather opted for quests than combat. Anybody ever played "Myst"? I have seen many games with breathtaking graphics which were excruciatingly boring to me ... hack.. slash ... yawn!!! And I also understand that there are quite a few fixes necessary to make the actual games mechanics better, but without at least one new quest per month I don't think I'd be around for very long. Now, I am still very much a mid-level player, so I can see that it might get boring along the way, when quests just get too easy, that's why I try to do them without peaking at a guide first. But even then it's an interruption of the constant click and fight or click and skill routine. As I continue to rise in levels, albeit slowly  , I just hope that at least some high level quests come along to strain my abilities by either requiring some thinking or at least some higher levels. Regarding the macroing problem, I guess I have been lucky, hardly ever ran into a big bunch of autoers while cutting trees or mining, so I never quite understood the urgency, but call me naive, I thought that a lot of that got fixed??? My bottom line: Yes, fix some of the other things, but keep coming up with at least one quest a month.

Older Players
For the same reasons you do... because games are fun. My fault for not being more specific. I know games are fun, but I was looking for something more logical. Something like: That is more the type of answer I was looking for. And, out of curiousity... are most of you 'older' players members? (it makes more sense for them to be... but one can never be sure) Ok, let me give it a try then: I'm one of the older players to -- 52 to be precise -- and I have had fun with computer games for decades, especially RPGs. I even played RPGs when they had no graphics, just text. Used to be an ardent Diablo fan for a while, but it just got boring doing the same stuff over and over again. To me it's relaxation late at night, getting a couple of hours of gaming in. I've always loved games where you could work on skills and chat with a few friends, and mine range from 13 to even older than me. Age is not the criterion, maturity is. As to the question about membership, I am a member, but not all of my friends are. To sum it up, Runescape is fun to play, there are lots of quests and there is always something new to do, so it's perfect for me.

who is the oldest player on runescape?
I guess I am in the highest minority bracket -- I am 52 and female to boot. Have been playing RPGs for decades now, and still love it as a nice recreational diversion. Runescape is not very demanding, but quite relaxing (I am not into PKing!!!). I just wish there were more mature players about to chat, I guess it gets all drowned in the immature drivel you have to put up with so often. So most of the time I just go my own way, happily wandering around the world upgrading my skills in my own random fashion, and now and then there are some nice people around -- age not necessarily having anything to do with maturity.
