Whatever it is, it's more motivation than some rewards :P EDIT: judging by the space allocated to these chronicles in the "dungeon journal", I'd imagine there are at least 40 of them. now my collection of 11 doesn't seem so impressive :P

If you're on floor 9, your prestige should be rank 9. If you "reset", your saved prestige is 9. This means if you do floor 1, your prestige will still be 9 and you will get the XP bonus from it. Once you complete floor 10, your prestige will have increased to prestiege 10 because it's more floors than you completed before you reset.
