  1. Just wondering, the new players - what's their starting budget? As soon as your race is ratified, I guess, Hex. For me, both yours and Mather's is fine.
  2. That sets the tone perfectly for your posts, Grim.
  3. [hide=Britannian Republics history or sth]The ascension of each individual within the Britannian Republic is truly awe inspiring. Every member of the population has something they are extremely proud of, whether it be an extraordinary brain or an aptitude for sports, it's this part of the BR that makes their nation truly glorious. The emergence of the BR began under a different name, the Japanese Empire. With territories quickly conquered in the Pacific, and a diplomatic negotiation to capture control of Wonderful India, the empire was set to write it's name in the history books as one of the definitive civilizations in history. Domestic improvements were celebrated subconsciously by every member of the empire, and a high quality of life ensured a slow and steady population growth. Eventually, the Japanese Empire seized upon the opportunity to unify with Britannia and so the Britannian Empire was born. Immediately, an advanced space program was put into action with a small fleet emerging quickly. Who knows what will happen to this the people of Britannian Japan as they spread across the stars, ultimately seeking their own personal glory. [/hide] nehn

  5. Dusty, I ask again, what's your annual income? We're going to introduce a government program where every citizen spends a minimum of 6 months in military training between their 18th and their 22nd birthday.
  6. Hex. ... It was for one planet. One, planet. Besides, why not renege on the contract if you really wanted to? There are already about 40 planets.
  7. what? Just because I don't see fit to waste my time trying to explain science to Hex/Mather doesn't mean I don't read everything. I'm always in the IRC! Hmph! That contract is fine to me, and a slot next to Sere is a good idea too. I have no doubt that 'someone' will have a problem with it though.
  8. This, tbh. Since last update; 4 Dyson Shards 3 more col ships 3 Battlecruisers All dispatched to Sega-Res.
  9. Hex, just sayin' - I laughed so fricken' hard. Yeah, I created the tech for my telekinesis - why can't I do it! [seriously though, I'll scrap tk - it's not a big deal.]
  10. Sorry, but, fish people can get through and some brain defect in certain members of my population can't? What?
  11. Telekinesis is my thing. Ross will explain it.
  12. My current 'space' assets - 21 mining ships 2 low level battleships 13 dyson shards 3 long range colony ships (completed todayh) Infrastructure/other updates lost in conversion - Poverty reduced in India, estimated population of 1.6 trillion as a result. (Note - this is down on predictions) Spaceyards have been built and improved. Tech for light spacefighters and battlecruisers Scientists made breakthroughs with chemically induced telekinesis. Ongoing projects - Birthright (giant battleship monster thing, extremely big powerful whatever) Project Celldweller & Birthright Two dyson shards every 3 years Three more completed long range col ships on the 7th Construction of 3 battlecruisers over the next 5 years, done on 8th Project Jackni New events - Fleet dispatched to Sega Res Includes 3 colony ships, carrying total of 60,000 people - the two battlecruisers, with 2500 colonists on each. 11 mining ships and 6 dyson shards.
  13. Japan's progress is going well, I am anticipating some sort of rage when I announce the completion of my stuff so I'll push it back a year or two - but I did announce it all 3 years ago and nobody complained then. We're going to restart production on our floating-on-water-cities which we developed 40 years ago, our designs have come quite further since then. The first one should be suitable for human living in 4 years.
  14. We'll buy the plans for the supercomputers. Just because. Ansible... :'(

  16. A Japanese business is enjoying large profits this year after a huge order for earplugs was put in by the government.

  18. I have. Took me around 10 years of research and it's nfs. And yea Ross I'll help research mass-production with you. Okay, then we're going to start research on it too. Since we can [i assume?] bass our research off Ross' serum, it should be done in only 6 years I think. I guess we'll start mass producing that using our spare budget then, 10b a year should be able to do around 300,000 injections? Reasonable?

  20. Just wondering if anyone's created a drug which increases the strength of a humans bone structure? If so; who are they and how much will the designs cost? If not, then Japanese scientists are looking into it. We're also happy to help out with the nanotubes however we can.
