  1. Archaeology has more potential than you think. New ways to get old weapons, tools, armor, arrows, and artifacts. New ways to get bones, making Fossil models for POH's, and tons of new items.
  2. Wow this topic is a lot "friendlier" than the summoning one. I believe there is something bigger than we realize taking place here.
  3. (For the Record Necromancy=Summoning but on Undead in a nutshell) Now this is suggesting a Necromancer's "Attack" on Varrock. What I believe this to mean is that Varrock will be invaded by everyone trying out their newly summoned undead or monsters. This could be a branch off of Magic or they could somehow implement it as its own skill, here's another hint to me, Could these rocks be new runes for summoning at an alter in the digsite? Then experimenting will be trying out how you summon new things? Only time will tell. Now Let's look at another hint. Taken from the March 30 CE Anagrams. It was able to be decoded into, Look for summoning, the history skill, or something along those lines. Well Museums deal with history, and the museum is getting an update. So could this mean that we are on the brink of summoning? One more hint I discovered, upon completing Dream Mentor, the NPC contact of Evil Dave (via Random NPC) he mentions something about trying to get this Summoning thing down. A small hint, but a hint nonetheless. Also adding 4 new worlds is no coincidence IMO, something big is coming...just when. Now call me "summoning-noob" or whatever, I think I have enough evidence to logically prove my point. Now i'm asking all of you, DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP FOR SUMMONING! It could just be a bunch of coincidences/false hints. I'm just interpretting the facts we have into what I believe. Okay I wrote all of this in the Next New Skill topic...still doubt? I have my hopes up, but you should've got more info before posting one topic.
  4. Im thinking more along the lines of Skill Achievement Diaries. Such as like a Combat Diary or maybe an Agility Diary. But Areawise maybe Relekka/Lunar Isle?
  5. Now I already thought of Archaeology too ( Great mind think alike eh?). It would actually be a really great and fun skill if they make it the right way. But.. I have speculations of another sort of "skill". I'm thinking summoning. Gasp..don't look at me that way, there is lots of "evidence" imo. First and foremost, something about this caught my eye. Wallpaper of a Necromancer Maybe it's the text that goes with it.. (For the Record Necromancy=Summoning but on Undead in a nutshell) Now this is suggesting a Necromancer's "Attack" on Varrock. 6. Its not all that far away. Use fairy rings with code AKQ and bam your like 20 seconds away from it.
  7. Well I have been going for 99 Firemaking (currently 91) and my favorite place to burn logs is the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. In my time spent there I have noticed that there aren't a lot of players going around saying, "Wut u Brning?" or "Wat ur fm lvl?" Instead theres a bunch of people who mind there business or have a nice conversation with another person with no interruptions. I see people doing skills there wether it be fishing, fletching, firemaking, or gathering seaweed for crafting. Its all very calm with no interruptions from annoying players following you or asking you mindless questions. I enjoy being in this company of people who actually act mature, and have played the game long enough to know what things are and how they work. Now I was thinking to myself, why is this place such a haven for things like this? Well due to the somewhat steep skill requirements, the Piscatoris Colony requires someone who has played the game for awhile and has done a variety of things to get into it and access the benefits it has. Here are the Requirements for Swan Song. 100 Quest Points One Small Favour Garden of Tranquility Level 66 Magic Level 62 Cooking Level 62 Fishing Level 45 Smithing Level 42 Firemaking Level 40 Crafting Now these aren't tremendously high levels, but they require some effort to get. But the main reason I consider the Piscatoris Colony a "Guild" is because it's "Hidden" so to speak from other players, meaning that noone except the people inside can see that you and others are in there. Making it completely separate from the rest of the place. Now, I ask for your opinion, do you consider the Piscatoris Fishing Colony a Guild?
  8. Look at the letter before hunter. It pretty said it easily, and not even in an anagram.
  9. Hmm. Okay out of the Lurk, thesis-stink! Oh, till goofier homonym one . Ive managed to make out Look for the Summoning Skill with an r, s, o, t, i, i, h, and y left over. Im having high hopes.
  10. i tried them today, after about 140 kills i got 350 deaths 200 some bloods 70 addy arrows 130 pure ess 45 mith ore 6 Weapon Poison 6 Left Skull Halves 2 level 3 Clue Scrolls. yea they own.
  11. I need to know a monster that drops addy bolts if you know any please please please tell me.
  12. Alright me and a friend have been Delivering since the update came out and here is what we come to believe after together getting 5 pairs of goggles 3 mint cakes 10 Seed pods and 1 scarf. On a side note we haven't gotten Pure Essence as a tip but I've heard people say professors do.. Gem Tips=Everyone Half Key Tips=Everyone Herb Tips=Most Everyone if not Everyone Goggles Tips= Captain Ninto and Captain Daerkin Scarf Tips=Captain Ninto and Captain Daerkin Gnomeball Tips=Everyone Mint Cake Tips=Penwie, Wingstone, and Brambickle Seed Pods=Everyone (Maybe...still not sure on this one) Pure Essence=Proffessors (Supposedly) Birds Nests=Everyone. If you have any evidence to prove us wrong please share. If I forgot a certain kind of tip please tell.
  13. I've gotten half keys from ambassadors so I occasionally do them..I don't do Hezelmere or the Professors worst tippers ever and in such bad locations.
  14. Coincidence? I think not... I do believe that only certain gnomes give out certain items.. for instance. Me and a friend of mine have been doing a bunch of trips and we have both gotten the tip of 5 Tree pods from the explorer gnomes (Penwie, Wingstone, and maybe Brimbrackle), also we have gotten Gnome goggles from the Off duty pilots (Captain Ninto & Daerkin). It would appear to me that only certain people give out certain things.
  15. Well after about 30 Trips. I got a pair of gnome goggles. I think you have to do the delivery pretty quick to get better rewards. I do believe you can only get the Gnome Goggles from Gnome Pilots, because I got mine from Capt. Daerkin at the dueling arena, and he said something along the lines of that This was an extra pair that he had.. There is my insight. Oh and the examine for them is Tally [garden tool]!
  16. Well I've done about 60 trips give or a take a few. Heres most of the sutff 3 Snap Dragons 18 TOadflax Lotsa various Gems Gnome Goggles 5 Loop Halves 1 Teeth Half 1 Maple Seed Coins from easy ones. Ive been through 2 crystal keys today (traded loop for teeth from a friend) I got about 300k profit (I sold the goggles for 100k)
  17. It is a little crazy that Monks are the same price, but they are a heck of a lot easier to fish than Swords IMO. Monks for me come about at the same rate as lobs, and with Swords you get some Tuna in the mix.. But honestly do you know anyone selling 1k raw swords? You will hardly ever find it, but with monks I can almsot gurantee you that there is almost 1 per page on a lot of forum "markets".
  18. Okay so world 70 crashed... Well it was just our luck that my "clan" so to speak was killing the Kalphite Queen on world 70. Well during the fight it crashed and everyone got logged out now and we can't get back on. We had about 3 Obby's lost (they were stupid enough to bring em) and a Verac Helm, and a few other things. Luckily though Jagex says they will rollback 10 minutes.
  19. Leesters, your like my idol for RS. Your the only person I know who goes to the KQ not wanting a Dragon Chain. Maybe someday I will achieve your greatness.
  20. Welcome, this is my blog about whatever I do in Runescape. So Let's start the fun shall we? Day 1: Oh what day for me! I've scratched a couple things off my to-do list. First off, I bought a cannon and made 400 Cballs, this got me to 53 Range then I sold the cannon for my cash back. Then I proceeded to range Moss giants to 54. I got a Ranarr seed (Sold for 20k) and left to ogre cage due to crowdedness. I went to the cage and got my level and buried some big bones, I got a Half key from a Random, this made me very happy. Since I'd done most of what I'd hoped to do today, so I prepared to finish Swan Song (I had trouble with the last beastie), I finally beat her and got a prayer and fish level from the exp. I Decided to complete Rum Deal as well, which I did, and got another Prayer level (49 ftw!). Later on today I went to a few house parties and made 15 Teleportation Tablets, and I'm finishing up the day with some monkfishing. Current Range-54 Current Fishing-71 Day 2: I started out the day monkfishing I got 72 Fishing from it, then I got a random and got a half key (Teeth half today, Loop half Yesterday full key FTW!). Then I stopped by B_50_2's party and made some tablets and enjoyed the fun, I would've got a Range Potion if I hadnt had filled my invy with clay :(. Then I started Ranging Rock Crabs and got 2 range levels bringing me to 56, also got a clue scroll from em which I did and got a black B Axe and a Black Skirt (g) (If you want to buy the skirt just drop me a message ingame). Now Im back at fishing and hoping to get 73 fishing today as well. Current Range-56 Current Fishing-Pending If you wish to talk to me Add:Generalgravy, Im always willing to chat.
  21. The transporting power of the scepter is great in my opinion, being able to teleport directly to the Ancient Magicks pyramid should be worth recharging a staff every now and then.
  22. Okay, so we've read the part about them mentioned in the July BTS. So I was wondering how the system would work. Now I thought of a couple different ways to do this. If any of you have played The Elder Scrolls III:Morrowind (I don't know if Oblivion has it or not), you know the system of how you enchant an item using a soulgem and you are allowed to chose a variety of effects such as elemental damages, blind (makes the screen go black or darker), and paralyze. Now I would love to see a crossbow that can paralyze someone once a bolt like that has been fired, or would make it harder for the target to see. Here is what Im afraid of though.. Jagex will decide to use the regular enchantment spells to add effects to the bolts. Such as Saph Enchant- Water damage Emer Enchant- Air damage and so on and so forth. Personally I would rather have a variety of effects to choose from not just small damage in one of the elemental attacks. What are your opinions on this? If I posted this in the wrong forum/I shouldn't have posted this, I'm terribly sorry.
  23. Pretty nifty find, but if your going for the Davey Jones look from Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Then you'd want to just wear the crab claw by itself. I find it kind of nifty they release a Pirate themed update the same week as an awesome Pirate movie comes out.
  24. Well I've really only played Runescape, I watched my friend play WoW and once I get a new computer Im gonna be playing WoW. Now the cost for WoW isnt that bad because your first month of play is free (by this time you probably know if you want to keep going or not). Then you pretty much get "expansions" every now and then (such as the Patch 1.11 for WoW) which could cost 10-20 dollars retail, but they dont release them every month though. Honestly though which would you rather have a game with just 1 race, 20 some skills, and 100+ quests for $5 dollars a month. Or a game with 8 races (soon to be 10), 9 classes, 12 professions, and hundreds of quests for $15 a month? I know which one I'd want.
