  1. As it is, we have plenty of useful skills. However there are just as many, if not more, that need to be overhauled and update. New skills however can promote other skills making them more sought after Ex: Summoning to Hunter, Farming to Herblore. If they can continue on the trend of Summoning we will see skills that promote the use of other skills to make them more enjoyable. Now if I had to say what I look for in a new skill, I'd have to say I'm looking for something different. When Construction first came out it was amazing because there was all these new concepts and things, and just the whole aspect of doing something new appealed to me. So if Jagex could put in a new skill that was useful to other skills, but at the same time, nothing we have ever experience, then I will think that it is a great new skill.

Hey we get to live for another two+ months. This is seeming to be an epic waste of money, theyve already had 2 uh-ohs. Whats to say when they get it fired up in november or later that it won't break another sector? Way to go Cern.. Sourcehttp://press.web.cern.ch/press/PressReleases/Releases2008/PR09.08E.html
  3. By all means its not "Good" for your health, I mean you are sitting at a computer for hours on end. Its a matter of, what are you doing while not playing? If you go to school/work/some activity then get home and play a couple hours of RS I see nothing wrong in that. But if you sit around for hours on end, it wouldn't be the best for you.
  4. Good to see that they are getting some publicity. But as fan of both WoW and RS, the coolest announcement at Liepzieg was the Wrath of the Lich King Cinematic. Thing freakin' rocks.
  5. Wouldn't the best way to charge it to go to metal drags and Range/Mage them with the shield, because they will just constantly fire off D-fires?
  6. Ive seen ninjas there. No magpies or Drags though. Gourmets also drop Chefs Delight
  7. Ive been hunting eclectics. They drop the Red [bleep]ey Vambs, Rune Daggers, Blue Hide Legs, and Adamant Kites.
  8. Its easy to kill them without getting hurt, just pray melee and attack them, then run outside and pray at the Taverly Stonehenge Altar.
  9. Well I killed quite a few of them and I have this to add. They drop uncut gems, coins, earth, water, and chaos runes. Herbs in quantities of 1 2 and 3 the 2 and 3 are all tarromin. And I can agree/confirm that they drop level 3 clues.
  10. I voted for Fremmy Isles because there is a lot of higher leveled stuff there. But this could have potential like they could use this poll. Which Quest line should get the next quest? or Which skill should we implement? or Which Skill deserves to be updated the most?. See this is PERFECT! We now have say in some of what Jagex is doing. The Diary is really easy to implement mostly due to the fact is doesn't require a lot of "Additional Programming" like a new qust might.
  11. Im partial to new skill updates myself.
  12. Not to be mean or anything but I literally posted that earlier so read the topic before coming to conclusions.
  13. Seeing as one of them is skill does this mean that Lurk, thesis-stink! Oh, till goofier homonym Could be. Look for Summoning, the history Skill. Due to one of the words in the puzzle being skill.
  14. hmm theres too many of these "newspapers" [/fad] please.
  15. WoW people call these "Instances", and playing WoW, they are a ton of fun. It would be interesting/awesome to see these be implemented.
  16. Don't mean to be Johnny Raincloud, but I have heard most of those sounds (Some of the weird ones and the footstep ones) for at least a couple of months now. See back in March I was burning willows in Varrock and I heard the footstep sounds and the off fountain sounds..I doubt they would've added it that long ago.
  17. Personally I think Six is harder than Jordan...
  18. Okay If they update the old skills to make a faster way to level, many people will use it. But the people who already got like 99 in that skill will be mad because they didn't have that to use. It would be like craftable planks, easy and cheap, but the people who have like 60-99 would be mad because they didn't have it. Even if they did update older skills, there'd still be people complaining.
  19. This is seemingly the PERFECT time for a new skill. Kids getting out of school for summer, most college kids off for the summer, and it is a great way to get new members. Look at last years release of con, every members world had at least 1700-1900+ people in it the day it was released. Now if you make a new skill that brings in...im gonna guess around 2-5 thousand members, like new ones coming in or old ones coming back. This is the same philosophy as Summer movies. People are on breaks, taking vacations so why not watch a movie? Well people are off for break why not pay $5 and play runescape. I actually love new skill releases. Its sorta like a time of "noobiness" because everyone is at the same field of playing, like during Hunter I was level 30 or something and I talked to level 60's who were in the 40's. It sorta reminds me of the good old days when I was a noob.
  20. New ways of getting good bones, perhaps new armor to be found, maybe get ancient artifacts that can be used for various methods. Just a few ideas.
  21. Why does everyone associate New Skill=Bad. Every new skill they have added has given us plenty of new things. Slayer-Whips, boots, and all sorts of new items Farming-P++, faster way to level herb, and faster ways to gather 2nds Construction-tele tabs, alters, costume rooms, plus private drop places. Hunter-Fastest Range Xp, and Spot Capes. Archaeology has potential to be an awesome skill when you think about it, just give it more thought and don't automatically think its bad...Sheesh whats up with Pessimism.
  22. Id actually really like to see Archaeology, its so...open ended.
