I havent finished this story yet, and I havent looked for spelling errors yet. And keep in mind that im not from the US or UK, so I cant help it if you find things u might consider stupid. Tell me what u think  Enjoy ;) An overseas tale, by Drokles As clearly as the sun shines I remember my old matey Captain Phil, or Captain Death Beard as he was to be called, yes, I even remember hearing him beeing referred to as Phil the wealthy, who was well known for his long thick beard, wich was so long that he had it split in twine and knotted together on his back, so that it would work as a belt. The sad story of captain Phil (as I prefer to call him) takes place On the oceans near Karamja. It was late at night when the captain docked in Karamja one day. He had just been overseas for more than a month trading wares in towns such as Port Sarim, Catherby not to mention East Ardougne, who were all in need of the high quality bananas of Karamja, and was now on his way home to Brimhaven, and thus had he grown very tired. He decided to go the nearby tavern and have a Pint of the famous Karamja rum with his two most trusted crewmen as a celebration of the long journey, so he went inside and sat down with two of his trusted officers. As they sat there with their card games and emptied one bottle after another, they got slightly dizzy, and they kept shouting louder and louder. Two tables away sat an adventurer, who was watching eagerly, as they got more and more drunk. The adventurer thought to himself "I would think that those are pirates, and beeing pirates they would probably have a valuable treasure buried somewhere in Runescape." He soon concluded, that it would be best to get them even more drunk, so that he would be able to reveal the whereabouts of this treasure. Sadly, as some might consider it, the adventurer was right in his presumption. Captain Phil and his crewmen were non suspicious about the adventurer, when he asked if their table had room for a lonesome wanderer in search of company. He joined their card game, and lost a lot of money, it was somewhere round 2000 gold coins. But of course it was his intention to do so, since he wanted to gain the trust of the crewmen. He laughed with them and cheered with them, until he felt the time was right. Captain Phil was hardly able to stand, for as you all know, pirates like to get very drunk. It was in that moment that the adventurer spilled the question: "As a real pirate you would probably have a buried treasure somewhere in Runescape. would you not?" It was then, that Captain Phil replied "Aye" with a shining wink in his eye. One of the crewmen said: "Why dont we tell 'im about the bank robbery eh? I think we stole 200.000 gold coins that night!" The other crewman laughed due to his drunkiness and then said: "Or how about That crown and the sceptre we once stole from the great king of Varrock himself?" But Captain Phil replied: "Nay! For those are nothing compared to the dark matter!" And as it sometimes happens when you are having a good conversation, one thing lead to the next, and soon Captain Phil had told the young adventurer about one of Runescapes biggest treasures: "You see matey, deep under the sand of Here Be Sand lies the dark matter. Rumors has it that the dark matter was used by the mighty gods, and life sprung from it from the very beginning, which formed us. It lies somewhere near the Ruins of Uzer and is as small as the palm of ones hand." It was then with a proud smile upon his face, that Captain Phil handed the young adventurer an old smelly map. The map showing the way to the Dark Matter. It was even better, than the adventurer had hoped for... "Would you just imagine all the money you can sell it for!" The two crewmembers nodded and yelled: "Aargh!" And that was as far as the crewmen remembered, when they told Captain Phil what had happened the next morning. Captain Phil was outraged. He had been away overseas for a long time and could hardly believe, that he had to set sails again. But Captain Phil was sure however, that he was going to catch that filthy adventurer, for not only was he a brilliant captain and navigator, he also mastered swordplay pretty well. So they set sail and began their hasty travel sailing towards the desert. They went ashore near a cave and then walked their way all across the desert to cross the bridge over river elid. It was then that they saw the familiar adventurer on the other side of the bridge. Captain Phil walked towards him puilled with anger, but the adventurer just wore a wicked smile, as if he had just cheated the devil himself. "I suppose u want to fight me for this!" he said, as he showed the dark matter. "Aye!" Said Phil "and having a greater combat level than you, I suggest you just hand it o'er!" The adventurer smiled and went on to the middle of the bridge, for it was the time when there was no island in the middle and the bridge went from bank to bank. He engaged combat with them, and it was a fierce one. Captain phil battled with both perfektion and skill towards the fairly good fighting of the adventurer. And the battle kept roaming one strike after the other, until there were only 5 Life points left on the adventurer. "It seems you have lost, eh?" said Captain Phil, but the adventurer just smiled, wich was an awful lot disturbing towards Captain Phil, and said: "It would seem so yes if only I didnt have a lvl 25 magic!" Captain phil scratched the back of his head thinking about what it was supposed to mean, but as he looked again, the adventurer was gone into thin air! The adventurer had of course used varrock teleport and was now far away. Captain phil was exceedingly angry, he even jumped down from the bridge and into to the water. The two crewmen agreed that it would probably be best to let him cool down in the water alone, but the weird thing was this; there never was a splash sound from Captain Phil hitting the water. As the crewmen looked down from the bridgetwo minutes later, they saw that his beard was stuck between the planks in the bridge and since the beard was knotted on his back it had made a tight rope around his neck and he had actually hung himself. It was a week later the funeral was held. I was there and I had the story delivered from one of the crewmen. It was from that day he was to be known as Captain Death Beard. And for his good memory I decided to bring the story to you.
