ya, but many people smith stuff like bronze daggers (or sometimes even iron) and then just throw them away....perhaps there should be an option when you talk to the bank teller to donate items out of your inventory?

yes, I have played neopets, and that pretty much does make the beggars in neopets be quiet....but neopets is definitely not like Runescape; still, I think that this would definitely help people....there would have to be a special place to donate your items though.....you would not want to right-click on an item and donate it (would happen to rare things like party-crackers, I have done that way too many times with valuable things in neopets >.<). Overall: it is a good idea that really should be implimented, although it should be put in the next screen over from Lumbridge.....that way it would not slow the game down for people that have just died and respawned.

I have seen the skill astrology suggested two times before, and I really don't like the idea of it; it would be just like the slayer skill.....a skill that fed off of other skills and was not interwoven into anything.

i dont know what the chompy bird thingy is but maybe it actually better would be part of ranged. then you dont have a new skill, but just a new way to make money/food and maximus would be happy.... this way , lvling ur ranged in f2p would at least make sence :) and also a combat skill will be related then to something non-combat(the hunting) and money making. (okay, if u high lvl u can make lots of money while fighting) chompy bird hunting is when you have to do all of these things just so you can kill some birds....the fun thing about it, though, is that you get a hat when you kill a certain amount of Chomby Birds.

Although it sounds like slaying, he actually made this idea before the slaying skill came out :P

I like your idea, Feuer; I think that for your idea to be successful, the weapon would run out of "burn" after a certain number of hits, instead of time. If it was time, merchants could not really sell them very well, whereas if they are by hits, they could be merchanted.

as for the time of getting the logs.....you would get exp. when you did one of trhese fire-making options, just as much or more than if you had spent the time chopping and burning logs.

alright...I think you're right, and I will change that :P How about this: dead tree gives exp of 20 logs, and fallen tree gives exp of 40 (since they are harder to find)

yes.....i do like your "don't run with scissors" movie, but the animation isn't exactly top notch....I'm not saying that mine is; it certainly isn't, i'm just saying that the point is that the plot is ok, and that makes up for the lack of animation :P

ok, i will try that....i am using a flash program that is frame-by-frame, but the actual stickmen are made in MS paint.....I am upgrading the quality of the stickmen in Adobe Photoshop now, but they still have a ways to go ;)
