  1. I agree with the person that said that there should be a harder leveling system; the problem with the leveling system of right now is this: a ton of people arre level 99 in over 8 skills; I like the game better when there was actually such a thing as someone being just a smith or just a woodcutter; it added a bit of a class system in its own little way. Another thing that I would like to see is a bit more radical empowerment of some classes and less empowerment of other classes; It would be really nice (and more phantasy style) if warriors were fairly easy to train, but did not hit a ton, archers were a bit harder to train then they are now, but hit a moderate amount, and mages were extremely hard to train (hard enough that you would not want to become one unless you were a very, very dedicated Runescape player), but they hit way more than other classes and perhaps could hit more than one person at once, etc.
  2. Very nice......I really agree with that quote!
  3. Well, the real main problems with it is that it only benefits warriors; if it raised your attack, strength, magic, defence, prayer, and archery levels, it might be useful, but otherwise, it is completely unbalanced; some ways to fix this: First off, perhaps we should just have the idea of a "combat potion" not be a combination of potions at all, but instead it would just be an extremely, high level potion that was very rare, but quite useful; when drunk, it could, say, raise your levels that you use in combat (and perhaps your hit-points also) one level each; when you actually use a weapon to attack something, it would divert all of the points into oen stat, namely the stat that you were using; if you were using a bow, it would divert all of the excess stat points (which would be 5 or 6) into archery, the same for mage, and if you were using a hand-to-hand weapon, it could divert the levels into whichever type of attack you were using (crushing, pointed, etc.) Like the idea? It think that it would be a bit better than the one that was originally suggested.
  4. It really would be nice if both members and f2p go extra bank space; Jagex is reeling in enough money that they could easily afford the extra servers it would take to reduce the lag, and it would really benefit everyone.
  5. *shudders* I know that you are fairly new, but this foum has sustained many, many topic s on horses.....almost all of them have been shunned and flamed. When I just typed in the word "horse" inthe search, it returned 330 topics; please go and read one of the much more advanced, detailed, and well planned topics that have been read before posting anything more....thank you!
  6. yes, a quite good idea; if I belive right, I think that there was a very complex idea that used mailmen and postage to leave messages.....I'll go search for the topic now. *Edit* Ok, here the topic is: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=534 ... light=mail You really should look it....quite detailed and it should work quite well.
  7. I rather like the idea (that someone put forth in a differnt topic) that rares should have a trade counter one them; every time you trade the rare, it would gain a trade point, and, depending on what type of rare item it was, when it reached a certain number, the item would then not be tradeable; you could still gain it if someone died, but otherwise they would impossible to trade.
  8. It would be very nice to talk to more than one person at once; I always find it extremely annoying to have to type "I have to go now.....cya!" eight times before I log out >.
  9. The real question is "Why not?". There is no reason not to have these items in the game, and they certainly add a huge amount of realism; what if there were no walls in Runescape? Yes, it is a stupid idea, but it is pretty much the same as what you are suggesting; if there were only things that you could use to get exp or to do quests with, Runescape would not only look terrible, but would also be a stupid game.
  10. Right now, the cooking guild is totally useless; If you had to wait to get a higher level to enter, but it had more options, Ithink that people really would enjoy the wait; perhaps there could be a stove that gave you a greater chance of not burning whatever it was you were cooking (much greater than the one in Lumbridge)? Or maybe there should just be one fishing spot that only gave you 1/5 the experience? I like the idea of being able to store things inthe cupboard, also.
  11. ya, they should definitely fix both of those problems; they can be extremely annoying at times.
  12. This should be prosted in the "help" section of the boards, you would get a ton more replies there.
  13. "noobs" are people who scam and are jerks, newbs are people who are new to the game; you are probably a new; most people hate noobs, but few hate newbs.
  14. That is not such a bad idea, although it would result in some bad relationships between players.
  15. no no no no no.....that really is not a good idea; No one would go there unless there was a really good reason, and training areas would be a bad idea because you could stockpile exp and money too quickly if you didn't have as much competion; As for an agility guild? Well, why not?
  16. while playing Runescape in virtual reality would be a really cool thing to do, the equipment is currently way too expensive for any normal (or ever moderately rich) person to buy and regularly maintain to play.
  17. hehe, for a few obsessive people, that is all too ture
  18. I know that this is not terribly much on topic, but did anyone look at my lottery idea? I really do think that it would work (it is on the first page).
  19. well, not to go off-topic or anything ;) but..... I would really like it if you would consider submitting my firemaking idea to the Runescape official board. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=917747#917747 the link is also in my sig.....the idea has been thought out very thoroughly. Now.....back on topic; I did like the ideas, I hope that you come out with some more :)
  20. i agree with negativepink2005 but i also think that you should be able to chose what species you are too like an elv or a lizard person *elvs are natural archers but have been good at sword play *lizard people would be a mutation from a quest or somthing like you have a choice to become one * also in runescape people have NO EARS they need to work on this :D although I have thought about having different races in Runescape, I don't think that, if they make different races, they should make stat bonuses for the different classes; it would make the game too messy and too many people would be only one stat.
  21. ya; I think that it is stupid that people receive extra benefits because of their skin color or racial background; Yes, I am white, but I really can not see the point of Native Americans getting to make their own laws on their reservations and getting large paychecks each year. My family (many generations back) came from England, but we are not shunned because some of us were loyalists  In America, supposedly everyone has equal rights (although that is not at all true), so why do people get huge benefits because of their background? It really just does not make sense :?
  22. when does it give you the error? when playing runescape or elsewhere?
  23. yes......there isn't really anything wrong with this idea; perhaps if someone is banned then their stuff should reappear in Lumbridge; this would keep noobs there and away from other people.
  24. Both my wife and I play it, and we're over 30. Now, Runescape is infamous at our local libraries because there's kids hogging the computers to play it, but we've found adults around (just not locally). lol, I find that interesting because at my local library, at any given time, there is approximately half of the computers taken by people playing runescape: the catch: I have only seen one person under 20 that is playing runescape, the other five or so are quite a bit older :?
