Good luck If you plan to do it, It is way better than being skinny or fat. Being a man with tiny strengh can lead to self-abasement. From the begining of this year 2005, I've been start weight lifting with a 5kg weight( it is that ankle thing that trains your leg)..I have no help from anyone so I have been doing it wrong.. But this is what I did. I start lifting until I couldn't do it anymore then time myself..turns out I couldn't do more than 7 minutes... After my arms recover..(yes the muscle feel a bit sore in the next 2 days) I started doing 5 minutes. 5 times in a week. AFter a month I double the time and try 10 minutes and use an ironing board instead of that ankle thing because it is heavier, the ankle thing I have to do it seperately. The muscle doesn't feel sore so I continue for the next 5 months  But with those exams don't feel like doing it any longer. After the exams I went from 10 to 15 minutes, after a month had no problem. went for 20 minutes..no problem, a month and a half later went for 25...no problem at all so i continue. Finally I feel like I can try 30 minutes but 20 minutes is quite long so I tight that abanden ankle thing to the ironing board (which is recently). Again I take it to the limit and time myself (15 minutes). don't know how much it weight though. I am going for 20 minutes soon or later. This is what I've been doing. I don't why am I posting this, there are lots of good advice in here. If you eat red meat for a meal wouldn't you have enough protein to build those muscles? If you have enough protein and take in extra protein that wouldn't go anywhere would just results in gain some extra fat. Just a thought on protein shake at early stage.
  2. Mm.... that "volcom" over that forum said something about terley being gay and trying to rape him/her. So...the gender of that volcom should be male. the "volcom" in our forum is a girl. Somehow I think they are not the same person. it is just my inference, I could be wrong :?
  3. waterfall huh....Lets never speak of that again. Here is some suggestion, extend the water fall to make it looks like a water fall. And the water shoudn't be that quiet....look at google image for some help. Turn the green part above the red into a rocky part. (again, look at google for the texture) So it looks more like a water fall. I geuss you don't like rocks , add some flowers or plants on it. If the rest of the green part looks plain to you..Add flowers?? Butterflies don't hang around in places with no flowers.
  4. newest-->oldest =========== =========== =========== I had a few more but I delet them long time ago just to save space.
  5. thats right..so don't download it, maybe you can make a robot with that thing but..errrr. forget it.
  6. I don't get why they are only showing us circles and rectengles. If there are more to it, they should show us. The dragging thing is impressive. Useful or not is the problem..those programers probably have wasted their time.

The reason I join this board is becuase I don't want to see that thing ever again....you just stab the media board on this site with a knife. don't stab this board with more knives by posting their creation on this board. I am sure everyone who contribute some good stuff on this media board won't like them.
  8. I am going to uninstall it soon. From what I've seen.. It is really a just program designed to sketch a industrial machine, not for any artistic purpose. It even have a calculator for material cost. Not a simple crayon for us to play with. Well you can always draw something on it but, the effect won't be that good. Like I said before it is designed to sketch an industrial machine not for artistic purpose.
  9. The waves released from the moment that thing pull out the lobster cage from the water surface.
  10. Looks reasonable, those logic excercise are good. I don't like the first exercise though, I am not a big fan on writing stuff  ..A short sentence/phrase of description pointing at a particular part of the picture are more interesting than writing an essay on what you see on the tomato. I don't know but I think they should learn how to shade with lines first, what did you call it? crosshatching? I found them easier to do. I knew couple of people became quite handy with crosshatching by looking at comics. With lessons it will be even easier. Most important of all is they'll have a better concept on shading. It took me a while to able to shade a circle like that. (Or I am just so untalented) Those outlines aren't the best items for a beginner to shade. Start with simple shapes like cube, cone..etc first. Maybe make them use crosshatching to shade a circle by using a sharp pencil , then tell them to use the pencil to shade in the correct tone judge from the density of the lines. Do a few more and practice without any reference from crosshatching. Just some suggestion on what I think would be better.
  11. although i don't like the concept at all....the first one is better. I didn't bother with the second one...If someone talk to me like that, this person will get ignored completely. Make them speak English.
  12. If the rune guy on the right is tight up...then that person with the dragon scimitar should have a whip >_ Good job on the lighting, but you got the shadow wrong
  13. I see you draw this guy on a piece of paper, scan it and add the outline and color in paint. Also tried to get rid of the multi white from the white paper but didn't bother with it. Listen...erm. I mean read carefully. Don't bother color it because you did not do any shading with the color, if you are going to do some shading. Draw with paint instead of scan from a piece of paper. Black and white on paper without any dirt is good enough I've to say. About the dirt...(mostly around his shoes) I presume you are using a HB pensil so it must be your rubber. Get a decent one not those colored garbage (they aren't expensive...), even not for drawing..it is fustrated enough for school work. Don't do a hard stroke when you aren't possitive about the line. Do a soft one and see whether you like it or not. A few more things Keep praticing your hand drawing!! Forget about paint at the moment!! Human have ears!! Learn to shade with pencil!!

Go to google and search for google by typing google. Type in "font", Lots of different site for you to choose.
  15. Just an idea..Make the background move instead of the stick figure. I am sure you get less work this way. And isn't "we built this city" by Starship??
  16. I wish our stinking RS world looks like that! It is not that funny but it is entertaining.

Lots of people uses motion tween for the movement for a short animation. I prefer frame by frame, mainly because I am not that good at this motion tween thing and frame by frame are easier to do. (it takes longer of course) You have the ask this guy call JD.

in the name tweety. "i tought I t'all a wippy cat" "I did i did t'all a wippy cat" "that bad old wippy cat is always a bad old wippy cat" still not finish mon ami?
  19. You are doing a good job on the shading compare to some..... people  - make the guy look like he is standing ankle deep in water, and have his reflection showing #go to google and look at some reflection image. It'll give you some ideas for sure - draw a good cape #draw the simplest shape first, add detail to it later. The left side of the cape should be lower than the other one. - improve the color quality (im really nooby when it comes to graphics) #you'll improve as you draw more and look at some good artists' work :) - make a good background #a small lake? - resize the pic so that it could fit in a sig but still retain its quality #not going to happen unless it is flash (i think). Something I want to say on the drawing. =his hand should be resting on the handle. It looks weird right now. =I am not sure where would the sword land on, but shouldn't the sword tip be on the ground level? =his legs are sort of facing the same direction. Make his left leg face a little left.
  20. Looks good so far. I agree with whoever said the bottom cloak are brighter for some reason. Need to be finish.
  21. The dragon chain mail is a bit too small....the table legs are in the wrong direction, unless you want it that way. If you want to practice draw people. Perhaps go on google image and look for some realistic cartoon character like superman, punisher (wonder woman if you want to draw a girl). These guys' human anatomy are accurate.
  22. Erm this is a joke right?? well do you want 5/10 for the humor if it makes you happy?
  23. any generous people mind say something useful? please?
  24. I wished I have some monty python tape. "I have a lovely bunch of coconuts...." why people never post those constructive critism on my work?? :?
