well...ok if it wasn't your first try...valuing it as a standard sig my rating would be 5/10. Again since it's your first one that's realy nice but answering your request i'll still point out some problems: -2 colors for the shading isn't enough, the result is still pretty plain even cause u didn't follow specific light/shadow zones but simply darkened left side of objects. -Design isn't that bad but needs some more work. Needs to be more detailed and more "clean". -Anatomy needs some fixing so the body shape is more natural -Background is very simple, 2 simple. Remember to add something else in your next work -the image message isn't that clear. Should be a chopped head in his hand right ? then u'd better give the head a more centered and detailed look. Plus we miss some blood on the sword, don't we ? -The image works pretty well even if, in my opinion, it lacks of a real focal point, may it be a graphical or humoristic one. Something able to catch the eyes or the mind of the viewer. Hope this will help you. Experience will come and help you for sure, so keep it up 8)

U need to convert bmp into gif or Jpeg (paint can do but the result is mainly ugly, i suggest photoshop or psp). remember sigs limits on these boards are 300x150pxls for 30k bytes.

Mmm ok...so...what to say...i think you should give it some more pop up look...maybe with a different color scheme with contrasting colors. About the brushing i think you should try to smooth the design to the limit, cause that's the real beauty of brushworks. Avoid things like the shape on the left for example, still nice start. Keep it up :D

gif and brush work don't go well together. Get rid of the animation to achieve a decent brush visualization or get rid of brush style to get a nice animated sig. The way it is now it's pretty bad cause it's almost impossible to define it brushing since the true color is somewhere else. I'd like to see a non animated, jpg version. :)

That's mith...and and he's totaly owned as u can see from the bondages... Plus Your Mother is a Rsc player with 10 defence or something so he specificaly asked me to put a black armor on and to remove the red borders. The hill you'r talking about , if it's the one on the lefs...is actualy the vulcano itself and has woods on it. The central, far away one is 2 far to add any three...it's supposed to be wood/grass itself

If u'r using photoshop Select all then Selection->Stroke here set the color as black and the dimension as 1 pxl (or 2...) check the inside box... OK

Erm you know...the slim lines that surround all the sigs. They are very useful to cut out the sig from the bg...and give a bit more professional look. With photoshop just do Select all , then stroke a 1px black border.

Shoulders are 2 small...looks a bit weird. However back on topic i'd personaly add a grand canyon like bg with a village and a totem not 2 far away in the middle and some kind of indian related animals (like an eagle, a bear or a wolf) on the top of a lil hill on the right.

Dude it's 2 big. The limits are 300x150 pxl and 30k Bytes... Your sig is 50k+ . I think you could easily compress it down to 10k without any quality loss since it's a screeny from game (that means no true color). However back on topic it's pretty nice for a first try. Add a border that's always nice to see and maybe rise the contrast a bit. I'd personaly use a straight text.

U could make the arrow a bit smaller...like it has just made a hole in some1's chest (blood here and there...a bit of the body on the left and it's just going to crush the head of a scared guy (hobo) on the right... Should be Pwnage :)

Thx mate, i used mspaint for this one but i started using GraphicsGale on another work and i have to say i realy like it. I personaly don't love the palette so much there but the layers will save me a lot of time, and i mean a lot, so i'm almost for sure moving on that program.

This one took me more than 12 hours for sure...maybe 16 but i tried so many things then had to change the bg...then my gf - msn distracted me...however took that time. Usualy a nice sig takes 6 hours more or less...but remember i'm a detail nerd :shock:

Since the Bg didn't fit every1's taste i decided to waste my afternoon to make a nice bg...Took me hours but i realy like the result. Now it's by far my best sig under every aspect (at least IMO).
