the old tree one with the evocative/romantic view was realy great...but maybe it's time to change...Still that sig was so nice...

Yet i agree there's a bit of a rush to pixel nowadays, and i'm not rating or checking anymore most of those threads as i used to do when there were like 4 pixel artists posting ( and i introduced my first sig saying..."since i've seen many of those around..." and there were like 1 or 2 each page...lol) However there's nothing bad in creating some art...good or bad it is... Things will change...good pixel artist will probably keep theyr style and keep on the same way while the others will simply mass move to the next trend...that's life :)

Sorry if that looks 2 hard, didn't mean to be like a pointed finger with a Nelson's Ahhhh ahhhhhh...i know,as i said, it was mainly some fun over those that overvalue themselves...I simply think not every1 could understand that and some probs could bump out (check the "rate my new landscapes" thread where some1 used your sig to badly criticize that guy's work...) and being it the sig of a mod they could get the idea that in-sig flaming is a good thing... as we already have a clone of that sig on peter's one. About the sig i was just giving my opinion on having 2 so similar sigs. But that's just your design choice. The sig itself is very very nice, as the other one.

A bad pixel is mainly as annoying as a bad abstract, as some1 stated above. Still a bad pixel sig takes more time than a bad abstract sig. Plus pixel sigs always imply a specific idea being developed...nothing random or pregenerated. There are also no tutorials u could follow step by step to look kool...so some ppl with no free hand drawing skills could have problems making something top quality no matter how hard they try, while a bad artist simply needs to download a cracked version of photoshop, surf good-tutorials and copy some ideas/solutions here and there on the boards to produce decent stuff claiming to be a pro... :roll: However...it's still bad taste stuff plus some bad behaviour...on a poor technical realization...

Your old sig, yet being made with humor, isn't very professional for a mod of media boards cause it criticises the works of a particular kind, and might offend, as it happened, those who produce that kind of stuff. It's more or less like the Peter's pixel sig that spreads the "pixel sigs are bad" message and you having a similiar one might only launch a trend of in-sig flaming....That might be funny for a while, but still bad taste, realy bad taste. Expecialy from a mod. Therefore i'd use new one even if the drag standing alone with that "net" texture behind is way 2 similar to misterX's sig u made.

*pops up from a smoky bubble* I think "abstract" is a bit 2 wide...What about a kind of abstract that should represent a city ? This should give a project behind the abstract...increasing the work value and the challange for the artists :) *gives junk reward and vanishes*

Lol, What kind of names am I supposed to use then? :lol: Lol the name was nice in my opinion...However back on your previous reply i wouldn't call them errors...i mean...i'm almost sure u had this render that looked great in the preview but then...well...once finished it turned out into something not pleasing at all. (as often appens in bryce when u keep saying...well but the uberslow antialiasing will fix this and that...yes...must be for sure...meeeeeh!!!) that you were almost forced to cover that way. p00p happens :D I personaly think bryce works great if u make a render 4 times bigger than desired dimension lol (for example on sigs) if u use the metal, spheric surfaced reflections.

First of all gotta state i'm not that great fun of abstract, however i can rate it according to my personal taste plus comparison to other abstracs of that kind i saw around. The render is a bit 2 dark and way 2 "brycy" with those aliasing probs i myself hate in my bryce works on metal reflections...The main problem is the linework...it's way 2 heavy. Overall it gives a sort of plastic wrap over it that lowers the brillancy a lot and totaly counters the high-tech effect you were trying to give with the foreground big brushsets and the text. With such a faded out bg those foreground stuff catches most of the viewer attention but being a bit pointless (i mean there's no real message coming from them, if u get what i mean) the overall result, at least IMO isn't that great. I'd also add that wallpaper doesn't work the top with Windows xp due to the start bar that wipes out some text. 6.5/10 but fixing something it could realy turn into something very nice...at least according to my taste Keep it up !!!

10 minutes, 0 effort? thats ridiculous, you try making a surface map of a canyon or a valley(without being a terragen noob and just generating one) and try making something as realistic as mine in 10 minutes with 0 effort and you wont get anything nearly as close, or even try to get the grassy terrain with snow, or the canyon terrain. you wont even get close to something like mine, so think before you go talking crap about something that someone spent a lot more than 10 minutes and hell of a lot more than 0 effort on. Lol that's a bit harsh...expecialy cause maybe u didn't realize...but Great is a mod here...I personaly don't like that sig. It's pretty offensive coming from a mod even if it's supposed to be humor...Hope he'll change it asap...still i won't flame him like that. And i'll probably drop the "you'll never get something as good as mine" behaviour...no matter how good you are...well you'r actualy stating "sig maker" on your sig...how lame..whatever..back on topic, u'd better drop it cause i've seen better terragen stuff around...No offence, those are pretty good...but it's still terragen with 1 texture each (the overlay of the other texture is..well...almost invisible in the canyon, bad designed on the second, at least to be something eyecatching)...bad sky (i personaly think terragen owns with skyes and clouds...using those simple ones takes away half of the beauty of that program). Terragen is pretty easy to use and u can get nice results with almost 0 effort (expecialy with that daytime/light situation) , that's what his sig is referring 2.... but it's still terragen...u need to work with some other programs on it to take away something that's realy awsome...

*coff* *coff* Good luck :D but i think u need just a bit more experience on pixel sigs before running a shop with that charge.I mean...that sig isn't totaly bad still has a lot of things to be fixed (as pointed out above). I'd suggest you first make another couple sigs improving your style according to the feedback you receive. Then u'll be able to charge prices according to the sig quality. Bye TJ

lol that's b00bage...however u simply found it on a site (that's ubernice to see since there's like 100 different version of these bouncing girls) and pasted as your sig...no much work there, not even your name displayed. Plus there's no real link between the avatar and the sig... 10/10 for the subject 4/10 for the effort, choice ...

idk if ur joking or not, but paint sigs are hard to make. that sig looks amazing. but, ur a guy irl why dont u have a guy character... _Lazyboy164 is an imposter :evil: who do i report him to to get him banned? A global mod (green on list i think) or a media board mod

Yeah but still this one is funny :) Technicaly speaking the text is a bit blocky and the font isn't good at all, plus that pixel prob....but who actualy cares ? :P
