I'm going to have this problem with JC, currently I'm like, 200, and in Tailoring I have 368... :? I have the Whitemend epic patterns so they should sell well once I get there of course - Spellstrike set would be very nice.

Level 64 is hardly anything, and these are HIGH Scores. For all I care it should be top 10k at most, even if it does knock a lot of my ranks off.

You gain no experience if the mob (Creature) is 8 levels or more below you. Yeah, I run instances and try to vary the areas as much as I can when I can whilst levelling, at 30-45, you should probably stick to Stranglethorn Vale, but you can go to various other places, run instances with friends and so on. But it is circuits of grinding where as RuneScape is just solid grinding. Example: I want 99 firemaking, it costs X gp if I use Y Logs and X gp if I use Z logs. I think I'll buy Z logs. *Buy Z logs*. Tinderbox, log, tinderbox, log...etc. Bank, Tinderbox, etc. Same for cooking, and everything else! Clan chat was a great addition, but it just wasn't enough. We need guilds, then allow GWD, KBD etc. to become instances where you have your own special guild one, so you do not have to spend forever looking for a world.

I started playing RuneScape last May, played for about a month, came back to RS. In August played for another 2 months, came back to RS. In February I rejoined WoW and am still playing it. Both games are good admittedly, and frankly, there isn't much more in WoW I can do except for the weekly raids. If I could play 5 hours a night, which I can't, I would still play WoW a lot more. If you like RS, play RS, if you like WoW, play WoW. Simple. But it's a natural that all WoW players think RS players are morons for playing RS and vice versa. I'm sort of in the middle, and again, it's a game. It's like PES4 and Fifa. Yet WoW is a PvE game and the PvP in WoW clearly fails. And yes, RuneScape, once you are past your noob phase and know how everything works, it's just a grinding game for the most part. Same applies to WoW in some respects.

Just ordered GHA and should arrive on Tuesday to Friday next week! Apprently it's extremely easy so I'm going straight in Hard hoping there is no equivalent of Raining Blood! :mrgreen:

You can still make the picture smaller. Have fun getting to 99 though, it's a fast but cool skill. Compressing it makes it look like a giant wagon.

PvE is great for you in that case, if you are EU, join Frostwhisper, I can help you etc. You can make your trial account into a full account yes. But the trial is pointless, the game starts when you hit 70.

I've also noticed a lack of Kara, ZA, SSC/TK Guilds. It's either BT, Hyjal or PuG ( :wall: ). Oh well, I have got the gear to actually enter SSC now! But I have no T4. So when I get a couple of pieces of T4 I should be ready to go. Sucks I cannot go to Gruul though, everyone needs '900 SPELL DAMAGE YOU ONLY HAVE 800 GO DIE IN A HOLE' - Even though 800 is plenty. I barely reach the spell damage level for it as a 40/0/21 mage. I want to become 2/48/11 But I'll only have around 600 spell damage, even though I could still potentially do SSC. Sod's law right. Everyone assumes you have just dinged 70 so you have a crap spec so 600 spell damage sucks - Even though my crit is 25% and hit is capped. :x Oh well, more Kara PuGGing. :? Whee? :|

Well, I saw this lady walk up to the counter with 2 burgers, probably what she ordered, and said 'This burger came with cheese and my son didn't want cheese - And this burger came without cheese!'. On top of this her sons were like, older than 16. Oh that was so funny. Once I ordered like, 8 meals for me and my friends, we went back to the table and there were no fries. :wall:

On my server all the good, well-structured Kara/ZA guilds are on the Alliance side and there is one on the Horde side but it's just ridiculous as the guild is run by an 11-year-old who plays once a month. I tried to start a new guild but there was no interest at that time and so I gave it to my friend to make it a levelling guild. So recently, I found this guild starting to recruit for Kara/ZA. I joined the one that responded to my PM, and hopefully will progress quickly and grow rapidly as it has a great name, everyone is talkative, and the guys want to get onto SSC/TK for some T5. Except we only have 15 members. I'm trying to persuade them to get as many of any class (Except Mage) and they closed the mage spot at 4. :mrgreen:

I bought S2 Helm and Legs as they were better than my current PvE gear items. :lol: 777 Spell Damage and 21% crit - Need some T4 items for some Spell Hit.

You do have pking. Someone quoted Paul on saying something along the lines of: 'Well, you can have the new trade limits and keep the game for a long time or you can have PKing and duelling back, meaning the game will have to be shut down in 6 months.' Yes, it will be in the next patch. 2.4.3 actually :D Was quite funny, on Wednesday I went on a PuG Kara trip, we got there, then our leader went AFK for 30 minutes so we were killing loads of trash just leaving the bosses and an epic libram dropped, and he was the one who needed it, but alas, we didn't tell him. So when he came back we went to kill Attumen, and some healing gloves and caster bracers dropped, I had green bracers and the other warlocks had pretty much full epics. And the leader sent them the bracers and me the crappy healing gloves instead of the healer, so the healer left. We killed Moroes, nothing of interest. We kill Maiden, some better bracers dropped and I rightfully got them this time, hooray! So now I have 5 epics and only 1 green. And with the badges I got from Kara I bought a cape, hurrah. Thinking about getting another level 70, as I will use Yttrium, my mage for PvE mainly, so I need a character for PvP mainly, considering a warlock to keep the spellcasting feel, and I hate rogues, and I don't want to level another mage, but I'm not sure about levelling a rogue. Any recommendations for a PvP character?

For me, Karil's Body has always been the better choice and worked very well in the situation. It's only really for the prayer bonus if you want it - But as team killing, you want to be able to hit more as the KBD will be up less, rather than lasting longer with potions. But again, these are suggestions and it's down to personal preference.

Woohoo I went to Kara for the first time last week! We killed maiden but no drop for moi. Oh yeah also, yesterday, I went to Kara with supposedly a few bosses to go, and then they summoned me, saved my progress - There was one boss to go and then they left - Meh, I'm not going to be doing many PuGs much anymore, me and a few friends are building a Kara guild. Gief healers. :wall:

You get raped if you can't tank/heal in instances from level 30-50. If you spec prot you learn how to use that class well for when you get 70 and you know how to tank and you can't say to your friends as you enter the HC 'Oh yer I only just spec prot so I suck [wagon]'. Yes the levelling is slightly slower but on a first account, you won't get 70 in a shorter time than 10 days unless you use a guide or QuestHelper. In my eyes you might as well learn how to play a class and it's spec, get geared early, become pro. Bucket of win. Oh yeah and I'm currently levelling a prot warrior and a holy priest.

If you get it towards the end of the trip with less of you, well, cha-ching, free monies. The original dragon item, the Dragon Med Helm, is also dropped by this monster, the first to do so, these are no longer shared as they are worth little. It would be silly to have 20k each! Special Notes: He has three heads. These hit in turn but each has a different ability. These are: Fire; this hits very hard and has a chance to lower your stats. [*:3ac9azdd]If the KBD spawns in a different place to normal and you are under it, get out from underneath as soon as you can to make the KBD stay where it should be so everyone does not go out of place. [*:3ac9azdd]If you have a bone crossbow, the special attack uses 80% of the bar. Only use it straight after the King Black Dragon has spawned because of the defense lowering ability. [*:3ac9azdd]If you want, use hawk eye to help you if you are running out of food and want to use up your remaining prayer potions. [*:3ac9azdd]Always watch your health very carefully, you can get hit big because you have no AntiFire/DragonFire shield. [*:3ac9azdd]Regularly check your Prayer Points, it drops very quickly if you do not pay attention, this means no prayer, no shield; you can get hit up to 65.Part 4 - How To Get There This is generally done in three different ways, although, there is a slightly easier one for those going alone to join halfway through a trip. Fixed Wilderness Teleports - The easiest way to go, sometimes takes a while to get to the Level 44 one though. If you get to the level 50 one, teleport fast, revenants and the Chaos Elemental have parties here. You can lure the revenant into and out of teleports too so you can escape. If you get split from the group, just keep trying to get to level 44. Walking - Very easy. Very likely to meet revenants however, this is the traditional SoDB route. Ice Plateau Group Lunar Teleport - If one person is on Lunars they can use this. Sometimes not everyone will have Accept Aid On, this should be told though. Not much chance of meeting a revenant. Ardougne Teleport Lever - Pass Chaos Elemental. Pass 3 revenant paths. It screams 'Kill Me', although it is fast. Generally, you meet at Edgeville, go to the monastery, get prayer points, and go to the ditch. Make sure your group leader has specified a back-up world (make sure it has Loot Share if you are using it) in case someone catches sight of Revenant Ghosts or there is a Revenant Ghost. Tell everyone to turn Loot Share on at this time if you are using it and make sure everyone is now talking solely in Clan Chat. Once ready, follow your group leader into the wilderness. Some rules on 'If A Revenant Ghost Turns Up' are after the 'How To Get There' section of this guide. SoDB's main method of traveling is by walking directly. Please refer to 'How To Get There' for more information. On arrival of the gate, just before the greater demons behind the gate, your leader will tell you to use your potions. If you are a ranger, these would be Range Potion and Super Anti Poison. If you are a meléer, these would be your Super Set and Super Anti Poison. You should then proceed to put Mage Prayer on and enter. You will go down a ladder within the Greater Demons into a small room, surrounded by walls and lava and poison spiders. If you did not drink any Anti-Poison, you will be poisoned, if you did drink some, good. There is a small lever which you need to pull - this takes you straight to the KBD lair. You should have mage prayer activated and have used the necessary potions, if you have not, do so now. Kill the King Black Dragon as quickly as possible, if you are recording loot, record it. Get into a position around the King Black Dragon, as shown. Use landmarks (Such as the Sapphire spawn and the Gold Ring spawn) to find out where to stand. You are now at the King Black Dragon with your group and should be killing it with ease! Part 5 - Other Part 5.1 - If a Revenant Ghost turns up! Part 5.1.1 - Catching Sight of a Revenant Ghost Tell your team to put range prayer on, keep walking but just avoid it. Part 5.1.2 - If You Get Attacked By a Revenant Ghost Turn on RANGE prayer instantly. Lure them behind a rock and just run away. They are not very smart. If you have been Tele-Blocked, continue as above but stay with the poison spiders until it wears off. Part 5.1.3 - If a Team Mate Gets Attacked By a Revenant Ghost Tell them to turn on RANGE prayer if they already haven't. They freeze with their range attacks. Tell the entire team to turn run ON and get to the KBD lair as soon as you can. Part 5.2 - Something missing? If there is anything missing to go towards this guide, all you have to do is simply message me with what is missing, and what needs to go into it. I will add it into the appropriate section of the guide (or even make a new one!) and add you into the credits. Part 6 - FAQ Q: What would be the best choice of armor if I'm new to KBD? A: The best thing to start off with is a one-handed weapon, as you can use the dragon fire shield. It is the safest way, and the least complicated. Alternatively, if you are a ranger, you can start with a 1-handed bow. It is also very safe. Ranging with a 2-handed bow is not hard, but mistakes can be costly. Meleeing with a 2-handed weapon should only be done if you are very experienced, and if your team knows what to do in that situation. Q: What level should I be before I go to the KBD? A: Preferably, you should be level 60+ with a good team. You can really go at any level as long you have any gear listed, have over 30 hitpoints, and have started Dragon Slayer. Q: How many people is too many to take? A: 1 more then the server can hold! Q: How come the King Black Dragon isn't the toughest dragon, if he is the king? A: He is the King of Black Dragons. If you have a point against that, something exploded somewhere near the Barbarian Outpost so now there is a whirlpool and some Mithril Dragons were a part of this explosion and they are very strong indeed because they got created from a massive explosion. I like the word explosion... Q: What level should I be before I start soloing? A: Ok, if you want to solo melée, you will need to be 100+ at the bare minimum with buckets of experience. If you are a ranger, you will need at least 80 range and 75 defence and to know how the KBD 'works'. But remember, this guide does not give you tips for soloing, so please do not use it if you plan to solo! Q: How is it possible that this guide is so awesome?!?! A: Because I am awesome?!?!
