  1. Maybe take something out of one of the Monty Python movies. The skinny old guy in the hole was funny, and all you would need is a long gray wig, but you'd also have to go around naked all night...
  2. If I got a Revolution I would deffinetly get that controller attachment, its scary to think about the motions my free hand might make if its not wrapped around a controller  .
  3. That game was lots of fun, shame I can't load that pic :( . I can't remember much other than sticking loads of remote mines in a toilet then detonating them with me on top. I would play right now, but I lost all my N64 cords :x .
  4. I'm exactly the same way, although I think I'm starting to see the light after seeing the advice others have given. I'm kind of annoyed at myself for caving to the pressure of others to get a girlfriend, although I never did get one. At one point it felt like my insides were going to rip themselves apart from the pressure of the desire that wasn't even mine. Now its something thats in the back of my mind that I don't think about too often, but I still seem to lack the ability to start a conversation with any girl with whom I feel there might be something in the future.
  5. Its back up to category 1 now, and still moving 2-4mph. Its currently located 100 miles southeast of Wilmington, NC, towards which it is currently heading. It might change again, who knows, but it looks like it will hit NC. Right now it's starting to rain and get fairly windy.
  6. I forgot to mention what language(s) I speak: English-native language some Estonian-everyone on my dads side of the family speaks it some Spanish-taking it in school right now I really wish I had been taught Estonian as my first language, because then I would have learned English from growing up in an English-speaking country and I would be fluent in 2 languages instead of 1. I also wish, like was mentioned before, that my school had more foriegn language classes in the earlier grades. Something I forgot to ask in the original topic: I was wondering of those who are fairly fluent in 2 or more languages, which were the hardest and easiest to learn?
  7. When I first started going on TI, I ignoranlty assumed that everyone on here lived in predominent English-speaking countries, but lately I have noticed how wrong I was. So what I was wondering is, how many of you out there are bilingual(or even trilingual)? If you are, then what other languages do you speak?
  8. my name came up as the 70s singer whos name I took at my own risk, some panda bears in a zoo, rs of course, and something about a Chinese restaraunt, something about war-craft, and deviant art
  9. Yeah it seems to be little of a threat now, although now it most likely will hit us. The only danger will be flooding since its been downgraded. Because it's moving so slow, the right wind direction could push water up into the rivers and creeks like it did in Isabell and Floyd and give some people in really low areas a few inches of water in their yard. offtopic: lol yeah it came out a little more dramatic than I meant it to, I was wondering why the views were so inconsistent with the replies...
  10. I have a grand total of zero, I seem to have a knack at not getting random events...
  11. Thats mean!!  Maybe just a hint? I really want a mime something. back to the orginal topic: 2 mazes, no mimes auto-retaliate on unless i'm mining in the wild Muhahaha lol, more like evil secret-keeper now
  12. You think? PS2 is far and away the top in terms of sold units. World-wide, 90 million PS2s have been shipped. Compared to what, 23 million shipped Xbox? 19 Million shipped Gamecubes? Oh my God, dude? Haven't you heard of Twilight Princess? By the words "I think" I mean I'm not sure, I don't really keep up with which system is more popular, just because other people like a system more doesn't mean I have to. And no, I haven't heard of Twilight Princess, I stopped keeping up with GC news a while ago, I'll have to check it out and maybe see if one of my friends will get it for their GC. Its not all cell shaded like the Windwalker one (I think thats the name, I'm talking about the one with the sailing) is it? I hate it when they give games that cartoon look. Twilight Princess hasn't come out yet. Its been in the making for about 2 years now and when it comes out it will be the flagship of the Gamecube. To my knowledge its the last major game that will be released on the GC. Screenshot: Wow that looks pretty sweet, just that screenshot alone makes me want to play it.
  13. Probably not many of you have heard too much about Hurricane Ophelia, but those on the coast of North and South Carolina, incuding myself, are watching it closely. Right now it's sitting Southsoutheast of the Carolinas moving at about 2mph in a generaly Northwesterly direction, it could make landfall around Tuesday, or curve back out into the Atlantic, its kind of hard to predict right now. Its only catagory 1 now, but after seeing Katrina, I'm feeling kind of nervous. If anyone else lives in the area where it might hit, try to stay safe.
  14. When the Levee Breaks-Led Zeppelin Back in Black-AC(insert lightning bolt here)DC Rock You Like a Hurricane-Scorpions I would say these are the best I've heard because I listened to them so many times I don't like them that much anymore because I can't hear the song, just noise; although I still kinda like When the Levee Breaks.
  15. lmao
  16. 18. Lets see... little man and pee wee before I hit my growth spurt, spanky, as in from the little rascals (don't ask), and at this camp I went to, Noe, because I was halfway through writing my name on my shirt when we had to leave because we were late for our planned activities.

  20. Very interesting, makes me almost feel like I shouldn't get any console, because then I would just be like another cow in the herd, being prodded from field to field. Although it does make a lot of sense, I wonder how that guy came to all of those conclusions? I think it would be correct to call this a theory, unless anyone knows someone inside Sony who could tell us otherwise.
  21. I wasn't aware we had a Nintendo employee posting on the boards who happens to know the exactl specs for the Revlotion  ROFL he's making fun of the Revolution.....we all just know that the Revolution wil just end up bombing like the GC did...some games may be good but.....again Nintendo has always been known for their kid games.. their trying to attract younger audiences to play games.....so dont hurt your reputation even more by posting on this thread again... thank you The GC didn't bomb, it outsold the Xbox. Yeah at one time...all the systems had their turn in the top sales spotlight, but a lot of the time it was between xbox and ps2, I think the ps2 is on top right now (I'm not bashing the GC). As for the games, I also think Nintendo is the king of party games, I still can't get over mario cart and the original super smash bros. I went xbox though, but 2 of my friends have a GC which I play often . One reason I haven't gotten GC yet is because the games don't have the same fun factor as the N64, maybe because they weren't trying for flashy graphics. Too bad they didn't make a zelda for GC that was like the ones on N64, it would have been awsome.
  22. I'm getting a 360, not just because of the games everyone makes a big deal about (*cough* halo *cough*), but because Microsoft puts out the most games I like. I'm not much of a fan of Japanese anime and all that stuff, but of games that have more depth, like Morrowind and some of the Tom Clancy series. On the computer vs. 360 issue, I prefer the 360 because the system that you buy on the day it comes out should run all of the games that come out with out doing loads of upgrades, and then the money you save is used to buy the next gen. system; that seems a bit simpler to me, but I can understand how upgrading and all the other cool computer stuff I wish I understood could be a major influence to want a comp.
  23. The last two weren't poor. Specially not the N64 :-? Yeah that was a bit of a rash statement, I have an N64 myself, I just stopped liking nintendo as much after I got my Xbox. One thing I still like about nintendo is the games, I never could get all the way unhooked off Mario and Donkey Kong
  24. The last two weren't poor. Specially not the N64 :-?
  25. PC's already topped that ages ago. Oh, well I don't really keep up with comp stuff that much, as long as mine runs I'm hanging on to it. I prefer most of my gaming on consols (esp. Xbox of course). From what I have seen so far, namely the bias opinion in the Official Xbox Magazine, is that the Xbox 360 will be on top, maybe not from being the most powerfull, but from all the functions and capabilites, my favorite being the massively upgraded Xbox live. As for the Sony fans, I'm not saying I think the PS3 will be bad, I myself was considering it at one time, but I already got hooked on Microsoft from the original Xbox. And as for Nintendo, maybe they'll do good in the generation after the 360, but they've got to be feeling the burn from 2 poor consols in a row.
