  1. I wonder if they'll stay gone with this new update. Hmm... still nothings released on the main site...
  2. The cape spot has been reserved for items that show dedication. More of a status symbol than a stat heavy item. The God Capes, dedication to magic and a specific God, you can only have one God Cape at a time, whereas you can have all 3 books. Legends Cape, White, tattered, once a serious status symbol. Lava Cape.. Yea. (Obby cape.. Even though I love my obby cape and use it all the time, I really think it hurt the legends cape. They shoulda put a requirement on it.) Gauntlets have been decently easily replaceable items that add nice stats. I can't wait to get my master gloves.
  3. Ok, I'm confused by this. Where are the level 44 and level 220 zygomites?
  4. You're wrong about infinity being better than ahrims. Best mage attack gear: +127 Ahrim's Hood +6 Ahrim's Robetop +30 Ahrim's Robeskirt +22 Infinity Gloves +5 Infinity Boots +5 Mage Book +15 Master Wand +20 God Cape +10 Seers Ring +4 Fury Ammy +10 (though glory and magic ammy have the same +10 magic boost) The infinity hat, top, and bottom are above mystic, but below ahrims. Infinity Top +22 Infinity Bottom +17 And.. Infinity hat isn't listed in droolman's guide. I'll estimate +5 Farseer Helm +6 (with melee negatives and crappy defence) Mystic Hat +4 Mystic Top +20 Mystic Bottom +15 Mystic Gloves +3 Mystic Boots +3 Wizard Boots +4 Zammy Book +8 Ancient Staff +15 Elemental Battle/Mystic Staves +10 Splitbark and Skeletal are lower than that.
  5. Eep.. ok, before anyone corrects me... I believe there is a range requirement for one of the quests that you need to do to get a drag hally. But still... I'm basically saying that a certain ranged level is not required. However, I will admit that if you have a really high ranged level, it does make it easier. That way you don't have to micromanage your steps, and at higher ranged levels the x-bow will do faster, and more, damage than the hally.
  6. You guys do realize that there is a nice alternative to using range. It's called a dragon hally. If you have over 80 range, then yea, stick with ranging with the x-bow. But if you're under that.. even with level 1 range.. you can do it with a dragon hally. As long as the 360s and the 702 can mage you, they won't bother approaching you to melee you. So you can be out in the middle of the arena standing one step away from them, just outside of their melee reach, and you can hally them. It just takes a lot more practice and micromanagement than ranging does. I was able to get to the 702 without using a single arrow, bolt, or crystal charge, though I did bring a bow to poke at the 702's healers to get their attention so that they wouldn't heal the 702. They'd try to attack me, but they'd be caught behind Jad Too bad when I actually got to the 702 I kinda freaked and completely forgot to take a screen shot. I was too in awe of the fact that I actually got to it that I just kinda shut down. I messed up the prayer change 3 times, and after he missed twice, he one hit me. I still had 2 full prayer pots left, so I could have done it if my mind hadn't have n00bed out. I haven't been back since, though. I'm broke, and I'm working on my melee stats.
  7. Your problem is that you went to world 2. World 2 is the world to buy and sell stuff. Almost everyone on world 2 is going to be in fally. Try some other worlds.
  8. (off topic, sorry) Holy effing crap, trixstar.. are you a /b/tard? (back on topic) Any chance you could update the guide with the costs of the items that you can get from this?
  9. Personally, I'd go with the live due to cost. Though, if I had enough money, I'd definitely get both. Though, I think the 360 isn't going to satisfy me. From what I've heard and seen, it appears to basically be an x-box 1.5, as opposed to 2. It's microsoft, so it's not like they're gonna die from doing something like that, so.. yea... I really think the ps3 is going to be the top console in this next generation. Though, on the subject of nintendo.. the n64 was their peak. They've been going downhill since then. They took a lot of risks with the gamecube, and most of them failed. The Revolution is their last ditch effort in the console wars, and.. well.. I really don't think it's going to stand up to the likes of the 360 or ps3. I'm an oldschool nintendo fan, I love the company to death, but.. I just have a feeling they're going to flop, majorly. I just hope that they still lead the handheld system. (The psp is amazing, but so far both are doing fine, neither seems to be slipping too much) I pray for nintendo. But, I'm a cheap bastard so I'll stick to my computer with cheap affordable games, like RS, or WC3. (Newest system? n64..)
  10. My opinion: They need to release it. It's been long enough. Planks and tiles have been out for Andrew knows how long... Used to be on the skill list (way back in the days of rsc)... But, whatever... I'm personally against the POHs, they seem like they'd be a waste. They might make them good, but we'll see. I'm also against making carpentry a seperate skill. It basically is a mix of crafting, smithing, and fletching, and therefore should be additions to those skills, as opposed to its own seperate skill. Just like necromancy or summoning, that should be added to magic. Though, you'd have to learn how to make things through quests, mini-quests, or whatever... Like, a 99 smither, crafter, and fletcher couldn't make everything right away, they'd need to unlock the ability to do it. (Like darts and claws, and the ancient magicks, quests were required for them).
  11. There's no need for f2p to get more bank space, they don't update f2p with much. But with p2p... I'm kind of scared. I've been off rs for 2 months now, and with all these new things being released... Have they increased bank space recently, even since farming was released?
  12. Personally, I do get a little worked up. I get a little upset if I lose something that I worked to get. But, I'm not too bad. I haven't cried for losing anything in a game. *shrug* It's just a game. But, you people need to realize that some people take things more seriously than others, or are more emotionally attatched to what they do. Just like Scream scares some people while makes others laugh. It's just how their mind works, they can't very well change it easily.
  13. Dude, the one on the left.. That is seriously the type of weapon that I would use if I had a melee weapon in real life. A wrist blade that wrapped around like that, or I'd use a whip/chain. Kinda interesting that you made that, it looks sweet. And I like the other one too.
