You CAN bring runes(thats how i did) and bow (u) + string, but im not sure about arrows, maybe you will have to make them on the island. :-k

There is no absolute best armor/weapon 1 : In what situation do you plan to use these? 2 : What combat type will you use? etc . .

The first thing you might want to do is getting 43 prayer for protect from melee. But i suggest getting member in order to do that because it is much faster that way. That being said, there is no bad or good thing to do in members, try a bit of everything and see if you like it, then maybe seek advice on that subject. Member is way too big for me or anyone to tell you what you should do. Keep in mind : - It is handy to carry anti-poison when exploring new areas that are "out of the way". - You need to complete druidic ritual in order to try out herblore.
