  1. One, save up yo' SP for the solo, hold down the lowest note in the triplets with your index finger and flail on the other two notes with your middle and ring finger (don't try to hammer on, just alt-strum at a decent pace); Raining Blood, learn to get through the Mosh without Star Power and save that for the solo :o and finally, for Lou, surefire way to beat him: keep trying until you get the Whammy powerup, and wait until he gets to the section with RAPID greens, and use it there. He'll insta-fail.
  2. For Before I Forget, save your Star Power up until the Bridge (make sure you have full star power, you can worry about 5*ing it later 8-) ). 3's and 7's and Knights of Cydonia aren't very hard in my opinion, for KoC just get alt-strumming down (don't strum TOO fast, strum at a relatively lax speed), but 3's and 7's I have no clue what tips to give you...Stricken is easy enough that you should be able to beat it with a little practice, I personally love playing it. And when you have to beat Cult of Personality, save up your SP until the solos, they're great fun to play anyways. Off-topic: Whoo, just gotta 5* Raining Blood, Number of the Beast, and One, and I'll have 5*ed everything on Hard! :D
  3. Systematic Chaos, wonderful example of John Petrucci's awesomeness.
  4. I wouldn't worry too much about pre-ordering, personally, I'm sure they'll have enough copies; if you want to be safe, however, feel free to. Holy crap, I just DL'd the boss songs track pack, and TDWDTG is officially impossible.
  5. Huh, I'm up to Good Egg Galaxy so far, and I seriously lol'd at the fact that when you feed a star enough Star Bits, he just blows up and turns into a planet.
  6. I need to buy this game, it sounds awesome...My friend's crazy though, he's already got 52 stars o_o
  7. Alt-strumming (up down up down) is the easiest. :o
  8. Not sure on the Co-op lists, but for single player, dead on.
  9. Lol, I read about this yesterday, that's pretty damned clever.
  10. Same here, I've heard it being called the true sequel to Mario 64.
  11. It never made star power last longer. Oh, that's right, my apologies. I haven't played GH2 in awhile :?
  12. Hyperspeed's the reason half of the people who beat Jordan on Expert beat it in the first place, and on GH2 it made Star Power last longer than usual -- does it still do that on GH3?
  13. Congrats - I felt like the man after getting the Mosh down pat, and yeah, I tried to get about halfway through the solo before using SP, it's also probably better if you use it when you're in the mid-yellow rather than red, so it's easier to make a comeback. Best of luck!
  14. It wasn't stupid...It had it's moments but ya it wasn't really the best South Park out there... My favorite part was... "Thad is so good...He doesn't need the game to play guitar hero...He plays guitar hero acoustically!" -Starts randomly tapping- Random Guy-"Omg I love that song!" That was my favorite part too, haha.
  15. Yeah, that used to happen to me. THe best tip I can give you is to downstrum in time to the drums, but that's about it. It's really good if you can learn to get past it without Star Power so that you can save it for the solo, which is really random towards the end of it. On an slightly unrelated note, anyone think that South Park was really, really, really stupid?
  16. Brilliant story, I enjoyed reading all of it :D shame I don't have a Facebook, however. :o
  17. Despite my best efforts, and following several guides, I cannot tap. At all. It always seems like I miss a note somewhere when I'm sure I haven't... :?
  18. Beautiful song. Taking Over the Halberd - Jun Ishikawa - Kirby Super Star OST And after that, I'm an Easy Rider - Johnny Cash
  19. Signature. Or, if you're lazy, Xi Kite iX. Willing to play Halo/Guitar Hero III.
  20. The best tip I can tell you is to learn how to tap (look it up on SH if you need to, they've got a pretty good explanation of it ;o).
  21. It's not exactly the same, but as my SNES is broken, I play SNES and Gameboy Color ROMs on my PSP. o.o
  22. Cliffs of Dover and Cult of Personality are my favorite songs to play, definitely. Although, now that I can PLAY Raining Blood, that's pretty fun, too... =P~
  23. Yeah, although I find myself going back to play the Devil battle just because I love the song
