the fact that his pixel has way too prominent cheekbones, and cheekbones are bone not muscle im guessing your new..... i c the cheekbones, at first i just thought it was war paint or something. But yea if u use ur imagination and look really hard i guess u could pretend they looked like cheekbones. about the muscle/tissue comment i was not making any connection to the bones. I should have pointed out that skin is transparent. so if u dont have anything under the skin like viens it looks cheesy and not thought out. From up close, barly. But look at anyone 5 feet away and your not going to see a crapload of veins everywhere, unless the character is incredibly muscular. Jdprs, the shading isn't bad, but everything is incredibly too Blocky. and thats still only if theyre straining...i dont see why people show their characters all flexed out, when theyre holding like a 10 oz whip or 5 lb sword etc... A.) Sabers weigh about 5lb, 'swords', for example a 2handed weighs around 50lbs B.) Any movement of your body will stimulate those viens/muscles being used, even if you can't see them. C.) I've never come across any pixel character that isn't "incredibly muscular" D.) My brother is average size and if he lifted a book you could see his veins from 10-15 ft away.
