Sorry, you are right. I am just basing my measurments on those little plaques I've read at museums......... But I did hold my brothers saber (he is in the marines) and it weighed at LEAST 5lbs. IF you think about it you wouldn't want it to weigh less then 5lbs. Look up momentum and leverage on google. But thats not the point. The point is that skin is translucent. And if people want their pixels to look better they need to hear good ideas. Maybe had some natural lumps and freckles and blemishes. Considering leather is very dense material (compared to other frabrics) i world guess around 3-4 lbs. Considering you want to have a fast velocity when whipping someone velocity=mass x acceleration so you wouldn't want to make it any lighter even if it is made out of a mythical material. But swinging around a paper weights still going to stimulate your tissue so what does it matter? Edit: Making a fist stimulates tissue... Any blood flow what so ever will stimulate tissue.

But yea if u use ur imagination and look really hard i guess u could pretend they looked like cheekbones. about the muscle/tissue comment i was not making any connection to the bones. I should have pointed out that skin is transparent. so if u dont have anything under the skin like viens it looks cheesy and not thought out. From up close, barly. But look at anyone 5 feet away and your not going to see a crapload of veins everywhere, unless the character is incredibly muscular. I've never come across any pixel character that isn't "incredibly muscular" D.) My brother is average size and if he lifted a book you could see his veins from 10-15 ft away. (5 feet is poking distance) ------------ Just pointing out that if you want it to improve think about making the skin translusent. Most bodies have muscle/tissue not just skin. where are his cheek bones?

If you are planning on designing for pokemon games its very nice. I like the details on the gamecube. But I would recomend frying bigger fish. Tackle something more construtive like a NON paint program. Let your art talent grow, dont sufficate it.
