I was expecting tips on studying and retaining information. No hand holding necessary. It's almost 12am and I finished 1 chapter in 1 and a half hours. Pretty good considering I wrote down a lot of stuff on note cards. I plan on pulling an all nighter, going to my first few classes, and then studying my notecards before the test. I am logging on TIF every time my brain begins to fry to see new posts. ;)

Depends, lol. I ran up to the store and bought notecards. I plan on writing the italicized words down and writing their meaning for memory. I've never cheated in my life. I always feel wrong when the thought comes to mind. Usually, people cheat off me. :\

I am worried about that. I tend to get anxious and stay up all night anyways (when it comes to having something the next day or something on my mind).

I suck at studying. \ It does have italicized terms, so I could mostly look out for those, but sometimes he goes over things that were in between those. The library idea is good. I get out at 1pm after my early classes, so I could stay for a couple hours after since I don't do anything. Human Relations is [developmentally delayed]ed, but I need it for my Computer Science degree. ;)

Ok, I am a huge procrastinator, so I am going to pull an internet move and state "inb4 procrastinator". Now, I am in college and I know many college students know they have to take some classes they wouldn't because they want a degree in some field and it requires a random/boring class. So, I am taking Human Relations. So far, I know everything the teacher is talking about. It's common sense stuff. The problem? The actions/people's attitudes have names. Don't understand what I mean? Let me give you an example: We determine how someone acts. We would call this action observing. WRONG. The 'proper' term would be 'Transactional analysis'. They put name tags on these terms and my teacher goes for textbook terms. He won't give partial credit or any credit at all if you answered each term how we would. The problem, that I need help with, is that we have a test tomorrow on 4 chapters. Each chapter is about 50-60 pages of nothing but single-spaced, size 10 font, on 10.5 x 8 inch pages. See my dilemma? Well, I am a self-proclaimed procrastinator, so last time we had a test; I stayed up all night and read every chapter. I failed the test #-o The test is random crap that I either forgot or confused with other terms. The questions were random situations and you wrote down the correct term for what could fix the situation. 50 questions of that. So, here I am. I need to read 200+ pages, the test is tomorrow, and I fear failure again. What do I do? :? inb4 should have studied earlier. I still would have problems with terms. Edit: I was really good in high school. I got A's and never studied for a test in my life. I am hitting the books now, sort of, and I am not accustomed to failure. Halp.

I hate how they don't have something saying why they added stuff or what's new. P.S. NO.

@ blind people on the interwebs. There is an app that reads everything to you. So, blind people go on google, which it tells them they are on, and it reads off the links the searched. It does most things like clicking in search boxes and it also formats web pages into text and hyperlinks that the blind person skims through with the arrow key. Saw a video with that program. It was about a blind person working at google. He uses the app to finish his daily programming job.

I thought about that. How would blind people find stuff on YouTube like videos after they keyworded it?

While I was watching a video on YouTube, I decided to post a comment. I typed it out and clicked the button on the left. I heard audio of what I typed. I noticed that the left button was no longer the 'Submit' button, but an 'Audio Preview' button. This caused me to question "Why?" Why is there a need for an audio preview button? Especially since it is where the submit button used to be, so I keep accidentally pressing it. Also, it doesn't read words right. 'I am' causes it problems with pronunciation. [if I typed "I am a boy"; it'd say "I a m a boy". It pronounces each letter.] I don't know if anyone else noticed this new feature, but I don't really like it nor do I see a point. The preview button was good enough. It doesn't fix text errors as it reads words improperly causing me to look back for errors and seeing I had none. It just can't pronounce words correctly. What do you guys think?

I watched Tombstone. I gotta say that it is awesome for a western film. I got bored with westerns and avoided them. This one really got me. 4/5 :D
