  1. I really don't see how this relates to the topic at all. And for m4tty, you might want to pay attention to what you just said there - about people trying to make a name for themselves by calling people noobs. Does it remind you of anyone? Perhaps you should look at what you posted on this topic to refresh your memory. An awful lot of it is calling people noob, I'm afraid. i meant people who say "omg people always call people noobs //wrists" not people who say noob, noob.
  2. Oh, I guess it's working then, just because of the occasional neglect they give us. If they restrict it too much people will think Jagex as money-hungry and instead of becoming members they'll leave. Which is why I think if they leave it exactly how it is now, maybe adding a small few updates that add, not subtract (such as Holiday Events), then F2P will probably never fail. But if they start adding more restrictions, then I believe F2P might crash in is money-making goal. Yeah. But I think those small updates should be great and not minor. [/hide] But sadly, I think that F2P getting multiple major updates will never happen. Maybe every other year, something like the Stronghold of Security will occur. how does f2p deserve any updates at all? its p2pers who fill the game developer's pockets. We do fill Jagex's pockets with those damn ads. You may think it may not make much money, but how many F2Pers play per day? If all (10 milllion) players looked at an ad each and clicked it, it'd make more money than Members, if it adds $1 to them. We (bleep)ing deserve it because without us you P2Pers are (bleep)ed . 1. I don't think so, he has some good arguments. 2. It's not the (bleep)ing pay or not, can't you realise? I can't damn well pay because I'm so far away, far away from Jagex. I've no credit card, and paying monthly is bullcrap. there isnt 10m players, maybe 10m accounts but only abouut 20% are active maybe? and jagex uses pounds not dollars idiot, they arent an american company. also bots dont see the ads probably, and 50% of f2p players are bots, and hundreds of antiviruses etc block ads... also if jagex makes more money per f2per (off ads) than they do per p2per, WHY is p2p even there? f2p ads just about cover server costs for f2p... p2p subscriptions are what puts the money in the developer's pockets. f2p is basically just an advertisment/demo rofl. also i doubt ANYONE ever clicks the ads... also theres ads on the world pages etc which ALL users of rs see... Could be, I don't damn care about the amount of accounts or players. Don't call me an idiot just because of some minor detail, and besides I was saying an example, not the truth. 50% OF F2P AREN'T BOTS! There's more players than bots. Blocking ads is against Jagex's rules. P2P is there to backup and make more money as they probably could need 15million pounds per months. And I don't think you have to click the ads, as Jagex says to not block the ads, maybe because blocking it would prevent from them getting the money? they dont get ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1 per ad, and ive NEVER seen any1 get banned for blocking the ads, and tonnes of virus scanners etc DO BLOCK ads, pull the wool from your eyes and realise f2p is just an advertisement/demo.
  3. more nats get made than used tbh... tho just now i started rc'ing again and ive been doing alot of stuff in/around edge before it and ive noticed a decrease in runecrafters recently... not sure what the double nats world is like though, maybe nat running got more popular because it all went to the themed world... (best thing is it keeps rc pkers away from people who want to rc normally)... nats have gone up though from 280 ea or w/e they where (i remember afew weeks ago i wanted to get dfire shield so fast that i sold loads of nats 280 ea and bought the dfs for like 27.5 and now DFS is like 20m and nats have went up slightly  )
  4. Agreed. Ignore some of the snobbish higher lvl players(and m4tty, if you want go and say how cooking is my only stat in the highscores, go ahead). You have every right to go any place in Runescape, lvl 126 or lvl 3(if you can get to the area in the first place). funny how only low levels say that, and im saying they CAN but its noobish to because usually they just try and steal kills/get in the way to make people die etc... they might think they are "just helping" but people coming in when doing gws/dks etc can ruin the entire rythm of killing... im not gonna pretend to like someone or pretend not to be bothered ONLINE. What do you mean only low levels say there are immature people in RS? (I think that's what you're talking about at least.) I'm pretty confident that a large number of higher levels and older players feel the same way about them - isn't that usually the reason for all the RSC was better posts and such? People were nicer, etc. And this is actually the first time you've said lower levels can go were they want. Your other posts in this rant told us to stay out of GWD because it was a high level place and we lower levels had no place there. Besides this, were is the evidence that shows Roberthree trying to steal the kill? Those higher levels were killing Krill not the mini-boss and they weren't interested in killing those mini-bosses either. They just wanted to watch Krill kill Roberthree because its funny watching other people die, in their view. And from the looks of things those higher levels rhythm didn't get interrupted at all. usually the people making a big deal out of stuff like a dog on rs, someone saying noob etc are lvl 3-70s who want to try and make a name for themself.
  5. they are usually immature and ignorant and think everything revolves around them... Location: OMG! i report u 4 askin personal details!!1!11! are you by any chance 12? who the hell puts that as their location? if you dont want to show it leave the box blank?

  7. most of the ppl who goto f2p to flame f2pers arent even members (anymore, or even ever.) and are 12 yr olds mad cos their mum didnt buy them members, i hate f2p and think it should be MUCH more restricttive than it already is but i dont goto f2p just to flame f2pers.

  9. its mostly low level noobs who rant about it so they mostly havent even done the sheep herder quest
  10. they reply with the exact same thing over and over so i reply to it with the same things over and over... nice 17m total xp btw, i have about 100 million more.

  12. But wouldn't flaming the flamers make you just as bad as they are? Just a thought. Yes, but trolls don't respond well to anything that isn't flames. See earlier in this thread for examples. Plus this guy just makes me -that- mad. wow, you are the expert on what "trolls" do.
  13. It's their property. They do whatever they want with it. its not the actual employees property, its the owners property, 1 random person who works at jagex cant delete a random players account just because they feel like it... if they could then the number of "Mistake-bans" would shoot through the roof and the appeal system would be flooded.
  14. sorry for being right i guess? going to bed now... and i bet when im on again tommorow morning youll still be on here flaming.

for the billionth time, guides are nothing but a good starting point/reference... just like irl you could read every single book in the world on a subject but someone who had the tiniest bit of experience in the subject would be better at it.
  16. nah ive been critising with my low levels/no experience = no knowledge point.
  17. thats like me buying a tv from 1 shop, then going into another and saying "Hey u should sell me this dvd player for free, i paid another shop" That does not fit in the context whatsoever. Death said about people wanting F2P to be gone, and not saying just because he pays another game he should get Members for free. You has now failure. f2p should be twice as restrictive as it already is, its only there to make people get members. due to the nature of the game itd be hard to do stuff like max level restrictments etc though.
  18. even know what a troll means? you posted a "rant", i replied with what the people on the other side probably thought
  19. yes it does. its asking for personal information which can be reported. asking a player age isnt against the rules, and only complete noob wannabe mods report for that... that rule is mostly for asking email address/ rl second names/phone numbers etc... It is. Your age is personal, so it applies. But, of course, nobody really reports it, I think. its just like asking what country someone is in... off someones phone number you can get their address etc... but off someones age you cant find out anything...
  20. thats like me buying a tv from 1 shop, then going into another and saying "Hey u should sell me this dvd player for free, i paid another shop"
  21. yes it does. its asking for personal information which can be reported. asking a player age isnt against the rules, and only complete noob wannabe mods report for that... that rule is mostly for asking email address/ rl second names/phone numbers/ usernames for social networking sites etc... as in stuff which can get u tracked down irl...
  22. Get this: levels do not necessarily equal knowledge. :-w My few cents here: it seems to me he just wanted to have a bit of fun by seeing what it was like. Do you run into an extremely dangerous area, carrying your best armor, without really knowing what it's like? I know I don't, a lot of people don't either. Plus, sometimes it is fun to suicide. How does someone attacking the same monster you are get in the way? They may not be helping at all or very little, but it's not like they can take your drops or even really cause any harm whatsoever. Explain that, please, m4tty? Oh, and: So you're saying that when "your" world gets crashed by a "noob", then you always ask them to leave nicely? Yeah, that's easy to believe, seeing your behavior here. Oh, the irony! they can steal drops, cause ppl to die cos of the "rythm of killing" being messed up.. and as ive said 1000+ times how can some random loser lvl 40 who has read a guide know more than someone whos actally done it? guides are nothing but a good starting point. i used to ask crashers nicely to leave but usually i just get flaming in return... so now i usually just try my best to get them killed.

Then what do you call reading guides? a decent starting point to get a rough idea of what to do.
  24. macroers just make new accs, and being able to ban on the spot with no actual full evidence is too much power for even jagex employees.

maybe levels do not equal knowledge (eg f2p people, people who dont do certain things, like someone with 1 fishing but 120 cb wouldnt know alot about fishing but would know alot about combat), but theres is NO SUCH THING as a low level who has alot of knowledge. (reading afew guides does NOT equal knowledge).
