dang, today was a bad day for 3rd age >.> all the peices went down, cept mage hat, ammy, and the range vambs + coif. all well, im just 2.4m closer to getting my 3rd age melee helmet XD ive just gotta start runecrafting so that i can afford it before the price goes up again

it has its perks.... i dont need to use a godsword to achieve huge hits on slayer tasks and such, i can just use my whip and ill be hitting constant 40's or so. and now that im maxed combat, i've found some skilling stuff to be fun, like runecrafting, woodcutting, fishing, etc...

got 80 woodcutting for stealing creation ownage :twss:

How I Differ from Joe (mediocrity): I go to sara GWD in 3rd age melee. nuff said. also, if you must know, im maxed melee, and defence is my favorite 99 cape of all of mine :) and i got my 99 capes in order: 99 att, HP, Defence then last strength :twss:

Your constant and shameless pumping of partyhats is becoming pretty transparent. Spoken like a partyhat owner. I my partyhat and don't care if it rises or drops to 10gp I will still own it. Lets look at it this way...... 3rd age: comes into the game at a steady rate and rises every so often everytime it rises demand drops because people won't pay that much for an outfit. Spirit shield: Very good for a shield slot, very rare drop but they come in at a steady rate also. They rise daily now and every rise some people can't afford it causing less demand. Partyhats: Expensive for a hat without bonues. There will never be anymore in the game and they leave the game daily from people quiting. They are goals for many people causing the demand. Sure when they get very expensive people won't want them as much but they are still a rare. If you were going to invest in something which would it be; a long term stable investment or a short term investment with a very unstable market? Last time I checked they were the best investment and I have kept my hat since it was 252M and I don't intend to say it. I am just stating partyhats in the end are going to win out on the thing to have. Something that is rare can only be rare for so long as shown by the turn out of dragon claws and spirit shields. Not to mention the fact that they are the best investment overtime and noone can denie that. no need for a p-hat here, i have something that you can only get if you were the in 2002/2003 or w/e it was, so yea, bunny ears ftw ;)

Yes because a tormented demons flesh has melted off. (the process was described in detail if you read the books ingame). Besides has anyone at the varrock museum ever seen a dragonkin to make an exact physical replica? What quest/book was that described in? I have been painstakingly taking pictures of all quest dialogs and books, and I have not seen any mention of this. I am sure that I have access to the book and would love to read that description. yea, its described in great detail in i beleive part 2 of the one guy's journal, if not, it's in part 1. but i know it's in there, because i saw it in my head as i was reading it. sounds kinda painful if you ask me.

ohai, im 19, and my character is level 136, i dont act stupid like that \ but yea, i agree, i hate kids like that. but for me, it's not a problem of them doing stupid stuff like what you were saying, it's more of a problem of them seeing my high combat or my 3rd age armour and say "can i borrow your GS please" and i dont even have a godsword weilded or even own one for that matter. trust me, it gets real annoying real fast :| but that's one of the woe's of being a nice person and always leaving your private chat to ON so anyone can talk to you.

I dont really mind the attitude towards others here, that's there problem, not mine, the mods will deal with them. *cough* musky *cough* but anyways, i do agree that there was alot more to discuss back in the day, but now a days when there's only updates coming around once every blue moon, that are very interesting and might spark some debates/discussion. like when the dragon claws came out, everyone was posting how great they were, how they destroyed pvp, how it spawned PJers, blah blah blah, it was fun, we just need something new and exciting like that to come out. i mean, if you think about it, in the past 4 years of RS2, we've had atleast 4-5 huge updates that totally turned the RS world upside down. First was dragon armours, then barrows & whips, treasure trails & clues, Godwars, etc etc. we just need one huge update that releases a whole new line of armour or weapons or maybe even a new skill. but to be honest, i would be running out of ideas for new skills by now, i dont even know what jagex might possibly be thinking for a new skill this year, if there even will be one released. I mean, we already know that sailing is out, and that's about the only one that anyone could even see viable in RS. unless we go to the next age in time, which would start involving muskets, gunpowder and artillery, etc, which might be fun and i could see being introduced with the grandmaster dwarven quest. a handheld cannon (aka pistol) it would probably incorporate the ranging skill, smithing, crafting, herblore, etc etc... though this would be pretty sweet if i think about it. have the pistol/w/e weildable in the shield slot and allow you to weild a sword/whip/other 1 handed item of the sort :P though im just thinking of warhammer online, which ended up being a huge failure for me.... i thought it was going to look sweet and not alot of grinding and stuff.... but all well. anyways, here's my input/going off on a tangent/thoughts on this thread :P

haha, yea, but now that merchers dont have partyhats, they'll need something to buy up to put their max cash in again. im not sure what it'll be, but we'll find out soon enough.

Wth thats just sick. WHAT THE F it's not suprising. merchers need something now that P-hats have dropped and such. welcome back to 2006/7 when GWD first came out and godswords are 100m each again -.-' though it's doubtful it'll get up that high.
