one other thing since when have yew prices gone down? what do you mean 350 to 330 or even 300? I used to buy yews at 250 and sometimes 200 -- if anything that price has risen so that is a faulty point in the article. and as far as glory ammies go, since they first came out, the time between then and now has produced more level 80 crafters!! less crafters before made prices higher, now there are many people able to make glory ammies... If Jagex made half key drops rarer then the price of a glory ammy would be higher... people aint autoing half keys and dragonstones for a fact. theres just more crafters and more people playing therefore more drops.

It is absurd to compare prohibition to autoing in an mmorpg. it is also absurd to suggest allowing players to buy gold. If that ever happens this game will die, die, die, dead for sure. I respect Jagex for having the integrity unlike other game not to allow players to by gold in the real world. AND FOR A FACT, IF YOU BUY GOLD TO PLAY - YOU SUCK - AND YOU KNOW IT. Granted, if Jagex cannot do something to stop autoers then this game will be ruined and it would be only a matter of time. It is Jagex' responsibility to take of this issue and I feel they have been on top of things since the start so I feel confident Jagex will take the steps needed to eliminate autoers as soon as they are able. Gold is needed to play most any game, however, in Runescape you have the ability to level all skills enough to forage all you pretty much need to obtain most items and materials. and if you want something spendy, and thank god the expensive items are not easily obtained, it takes some handy work to save up. All you have to do is focuss and save. it might take awhile but eventually you can buy whatever you want. if you want to spend spend, spend...then it takes longer to save -- omg, why does no one understand this? prayer pots have stayed the same and always risen in price because they are a staple in a large part of this game. I dont see herblaw skill capes lowering the prices there. it is also hard to believe with all the randoms, logging out, banking etc that autoers are even able to exist -- although i dont know much about hacking etc, but it just seems amazing with all the implemented deterrants Jagex uses that it still goes on.

LOL, cross platform and browser agnostic. big laugh. guess they gotta shole up the scum suckers from the bottom of the swamp if no one else does, right? lmao. one day mate, when ALL other games are moving along - and your vision is going due to these bad graphics ... one day, lol. i did not say the gameplay is bad. its quite entertaining. but the graphics compared to many and in the near future most all games out there, this one will be found wanting. period.

I can remember when there were only 3 servers 1, 2 ,and 3 and there were so few people who played that when someone was banned, Jagex would flash a message across the screen that said so and so was permantly banned for macroing for all on the server to read. I also remember many times when paul or andrew would log in and there would be a hundreds of people crowding them in varrock asking questions about the game. wonder when the last time they logged in was.

I appeared in lumbridge in rsc. Wandered down the road toward the farms and wheat fields and thought - what an odd game. found my way to Varrock and saw mass people merchanting saying things like PRESS 555 TO BUY RED BEAD!!!! SELLING 100 NATURE RUNES PRESS 777 TO BUY 100GP EA!! I remember someone was in a clan and i asked about joining and they said I had to be level 15 to join to get back to them later haha! that same person logged in 4 years later and i was 112 combat and they were still only level 21 combat. dey had become da noob then. lol

this game is a cash cow for paul and andrew and they know it. easy money. what will happen by way of gravity, and as all games get a facelift from better hardware -- this game will fall by the wayside due to horribly outdated graphics. I mean, they are already outdated. the graphics in runescape we all know get credit for being java...but... one day soon enough this game will start to become quite secondary as all other games are more willing to upgrade their core graphic engines. sad to say but it is becoming reality every day. we are all consumers and we like to get what we pay for. Jagex either need to go for a full 3-d rendering graphics engine or watch their creation dwindle. paul and andrew need to take care of their baby and let it grow up the right way by advancing the technical aspect and GRAPHICAL content. I doubt paul and andrew may have expected this game way back in classic free play to ever get to the point it is. but if it has anything to do with personal or corporate decisions, it will be to take this game to the next level. EVERYONE in the world knows this is a fun game, and EVERYONE knows this game stinks in the way of the graphics. put a good game like it is and add great graphics and you will have a winner, and a contender. if not, even the most dedicated player may be window shopping before too long. GRAPHICS = EYE CANDY. :wall: They just need to get on with the game engine, require 15$ a month and go for the big time or be the proud owners of the worlds largest daycare center.

you can lead/lure a horse to water (edge of wildy) but you cannot make him drink it (step into wildy). everyone knows what the wilderness is in runescape ( a place where other players can kill you). and, everyone who steps into the wilderness does so after being warned of its danger. the choice to enter the wilderness is made by each player, and is not forced upon any player. you can be killed by other players in the wildy, plain and simple. this is likely why jagex does not consider the luring aspect cheating. other players are allowed to kill other players in the wilderness. whether you are 10 years old or 70 years old, we all should be prepared before going into the wilderness. I mean, why should there be conditions on how you kill someone in the wild? I don't believe it is item scamming at all. what it is, is killing someone in the wild to get their spoils. :boohoo:

the only thing jagex needs to do to fix the bank space issue is add a "page 2". a simple little tab you can click -- "page 2" how hard is that? can you say, page 2?

Compared to games like Everquest and world of Warcraft which cost $15 dollars a month and offer a huge amount of content the same as runescape, and then take into the consideration the lack of graphics that runescape has, I'd say 5$ is reasonable. If runescape ever upgrades to full 3d engines like EQ and WoW, then I would never consider playing any other game but runescape! And, I would even pay $20 a month since I feel runescape has a better gameplay perspective than most MMO's. But....(and hats off to the java success and abilities)....But....Runescape graphics just have to be upgraded one day.
