Even MICRO$OFT has better ethics than sony. Sony is a disgusting company that has its fingers in a plethora of pies, whilst being the best at none of them. They overcharge for poorly built products (how about 6 our of 7 people I know with a sony ericsson phone the joystick has broken, or 4 out of 4 people I know with sony EX71 earphones the left one has stopped working within a year). They cram ads into their online games, /pizza is the icing on the cake. The current DRM hoohah. "Most people don't even know what a rootkit is, so why should they care". The current overpricing wholesale goods for online retailers so that they get more business in their 'sony centres' hoohah. Basically, sony stinks - and everything you buy from them, whether or not it is a good product, is supporting their ethical standards. So don't.

If anyone had proof that it had subliminal messages in it then the game would no longer be on the shelves.

Some say rap has good lyrics, I say rock is just as capable of having good poetic lyrics but rap ISN'T capable of displaying good instrumental skill. Now there is SOME rap I like, albeit only a couple of songs - by Jurassic 5 and Goldie Lookin' Chain. I could never get bored of listening to a good piece of prog rock, there's always new things to spot and appreciate.

Yeah it hardly encourages people to legitimately purchase the product. If sony got their way they'd be selling air, taxing each breath, and sleeping with everyone's mothers.

Forcing the issue too much ruins the quality of the music. This guy obviously wants music first, christianity second from a track - else he'd be listening to Cliff Richard's "Milennium Prayer".

Where did you see them? I was told they'd be playing in Manchester, 2 gigs - one of their own stuff and one of covers... I was all set for going to both, then I hear they're only playing right down south :( Was the one you saw their stuff or covers? I think they are the only band 'licensed' to cover the greats like Pink Floyd - they showed they were capable in The Big Medley from Change of Seasons.

I'm not saying you are wrong to like him, everyone has different tastes. I just feel strongly about him because he ruined many songs I like, and many people will mistakenly think those are the originals as often happens.

DJ Sammy is bloody ABYSMAL. Talentless moron who takes decent songs and butchers them. And he looks and talks like a rodent. I used to like trance, though the only things I'll listen to now are ATB, Chicane and Kai Tracid. Dan, you'd really love Chicane, most of the stuff they do is sort of ambient, right good chillout music. Get the album "Far From the Maddening Crowd".

It was just one of the female chorus. They had kids from a local school in to do another brick pt. 2. The only problem I could find in their performance was the singer lacked the small vocal flourish on the end of each line in 'Time'. I only noticed that because it's my favourite song by them and I've listened to it to death. That said, for a bunch of aussies they pulled off EXCELLENT 70's/80's british accents.

I went to see the Australian Pink Floyd show (biggest and best tribute act) at the MEN in April, they were incredible. They replicated the songs perfectly - even The Great Gig in the Sky.

I have only bubbled and shielded once, and that was because I was mounting a 1-man raid on the town of Brill in Tirisfall - I did it simply to annoy the hordies who came to defend. However I do have a macro for when I bubble... It casts the spell and simultaneously shouts "LOLIMMUNE!!11". Pity the horde can't read it. Mages > Paladin at lvl 60, hence why I have an alt.

Someone asked what happened to me on the darkwebz post. What happened was about a couple of months ago I quit the tipit staff and stopped reading the boards. The reasons behind it are simple: 1) I play WoW now (60 paladin, Draenor EU). I have played it 4-5 months now, and I am a part of the community there. 2) I haven't played runescape for at least 3 years now! Whilst I was global mod here I only read the other boards because it was part of my duty and commitment to the staff - shortly before I quit staff I asked to be made local mod again because I couldn't keep up with all of it. I only ever read off topic, and frankly I stopped because it's gone vastly downhill - nothing to do with the staff at all, they do well to keep it in order. However when I come back today I notice what looks like 1/4 of topics are locked. Why is this? Can't most of you read the rules? Can't you engage the brain and make something original? So hi to those I miss, most of you know who you are - some of you might think I miss you but I don't, so yah-boo :D And that's what happened to _Herr NB: Post anything that could get this topic locked and I'll come to your house and crap on your lawn.
