  9. I noticed a funny little thing here... Maybe this is off topic, and I'm not trying to void any of the previous posters' opinions at all, but I just found it a little amusing. You often hear about the "rude high levels" who take your spots and act like they own the place, but so far in this topic it seems that the higher the combat level, the more likely they'd be polite and hop or at least ask you nicely. :-w
  10. I wouldn't use those exact words, but I got the same feeling. The subject is interesting enough, but I wish there was a little more meat on the topic... Don't get me wrong, I agree with the main message, but the piece is very brief and doesn't really touch many updates by more than half a sentence. Would have love to see a full article on the subject, with a little more structure. :)
  11. Always be polite about it, whether you're meleeing or cannoning. If you are logging into a spot where someone else is training, ask them politely if they would be willing to hop because you are planning to cannon - in 70% of the cases they will hop for you. Some are almost finished with the task and can't bother hopping (which is fair of course), and some are people with attitudes already displayed in this topic. There are also a few who say "I was here first, deal with it." Depending on my mood, I deal with it in that world or another. :P Everyone does not have access to a cannon, and some of us prefer to spend our gp on skills rather than cannonballs. That doesn't give others an infinite right of being rude and wasting the time of those choosing other training methods. Some of the best Slayers in RuneScape don't even use cannons at all, Mythiquedame (currently ranked 7) is a perfect example.
  12. We are #1 at Slayer, that's enough for us. ;)
  13. Are you closer to finding an answer now that you have some sudden personal experience, dear topic poster? :) When it comes to my own account, I would probably make my lvl 3 a member and have some fun with it and only add a few good friends. Only train the skills I like the most and so on, unlike my current account, which is more allround.
  14. I'll just wait here while you start over. Cheers! 8-)
  15. Since this is a suggestion, I have moved the topic here. Laikrob, Tip.It Moderator.
  16. Not really anything to discuss, so locking. Laikrob, Tip.It Moderator
  17. It's on Swift.
  18. Might want to rethink that one.
  19. Tripsis hit the nail on the head here. :) There's usually not many posts that needs to be moved in that direction, more from General Discussion to Help & Advice.
