  1. To start the final fight, yes. edit: your level 90, don't be afraid it's not as hard as think  , it's just pures who find it difficult.
  2. That's a bad thing, it proves that supposedly our great Western democracies have a very lose hold on justice. Personally I think he should have been given life, to rot in a cell till he dies and he fades from memory only to be found dead one morning in ten years time. 70 people were killed in bombings after he was hanged, if "bringing him to justice" involves losing the lives of more innocent people, it's not worth it. They made a martyr out of him, he got his wish and whever or not Allah exists (lets not get sidelined with Gods right now), Saddam got his wish and has decent rights to believe he will go paradise. Saying, people could of freed him or he could of escaped to set up his regime again, is balderdash locked up in a hidden location somewhere in the US (simply because it's the biggest country of the invading forces) would have worked, and besides he probably hasn't got too long before he dies naturally anyway.
  3. It might be hard, as it'd have to be done from the top million players, so it probably wouldn't be from 30 QPs. I still think it'd be nice, but I'd doubt it'd show many, if any permanent free players.
  4. Actually, the Ape atoll course gives 8.5 more exp than the Wildy one. But you don't get the Ape Atoll course's benefits until 70+ when you can garuntee to never fail. However before 65 you'll fail too much to be worth it, so I'd stick with Wildy.
  5. Hehehehe, that happened to me too, I had 8 hp left and I waited at the end of the corridor till my health regenerated.
  6. Uh, yep, I'm afraid you'll need to do both. Though you can always click the appropriate quest in your quest journal for future referance.
  7. Try speaking to the head mourner, I don't see why he wouldn't give you a spare copy. After all the long wait at the beggining of the quest, is all about cutting keys.
  8. Done Big Chompy bird hunter or sheep herder?
  9. noob or lol If you can't come up with a better uncensored insult than noob, I despair for humanity. Likewise, if everyone really laughed when they said lol, well then them everyone needs to jack up their sense of humour a bit. I mean people appear to laugh at the most mundane and unfunny things, it's just become a way of filling in a gap in a conversation. I mean 8 lols in the last minute, just because someone made some great joke about this guy being 65 years old...
  10. Well start Mournings End Part 1, but as PSO said you don't need MEP2 thank God.
  11. Good luck with it Phelim, crazy idea, but the exps worth it, I really should get my hunter up...
  12. You make RS pking sound like Tantra, compared to the mediochre 3 minutes of satisfaction you get from Warcraft PVP. I'm definatly over analysing this...
  13. Read the Hobbit. I do think it's a good idea, maybe the salve ammy could benefit from this update too, although range is my least favourite of the 3 combat types, I'd still like to see improvements to it.
  14. I think it looks really tacky, I think normal Gilded looks bad, but gilded god armour bleh. No, offence but it just doesn't look nice in my opinion.
  15. He's asking for a parody, he may have not really expanded on the idea like tomdavies90 did, but you can't just flame him about something that won't happen. Jagex borrows heavily from the real world as it is, and parodying means if such a quest was created, it would not be the same as the actual storyline and Tolkien Enterprises couldn't do anything about it. I'm sure if he is a LotR fan, he will have one of the many games produced from it, he's simply asking for a parody of it, so there's no need to rip his head off apart from not expanding his idea. Of course, you'd know it was legal if you read earlier posts in the thread, but like anyone does that in this day and age.
  16. There's giant gold mine carts? Good idea, I'm liking it, after all like you siad theres pouches for runecrafting. And that certainly can make more money than many skills. Maybe you'd have to lay down tracks first, after all pushing along bumpy ground wouldn't be easy, maybe a certain smithing level needed to set it up to? And wouldn't worry about combat, Lunar Magics allows for team parties already. Not so sure on this, after all when I think of camping I think of Hunter, not crafting. Also most crafting is done near banks, so I don't see this being too useful. Well I'd hope the sharks, tuna and swordfish would be dead, especially since you just stuck a massive harpoon through them. Maybe just a simple barrel, that you can pack your fish in and roll to the bank when it's full. The bigger the fish the more room in the barrel it takes up too. So you could only carry two loads of sharks, but plenty of sardines; then again our inventories hardly abide by this rule, so just ignore me. That kind of only works on rivers, so I'm not sure how useful it'd be. Agility affecting your chances of staying on, should be taken into consideration too. It's a you chopping a tree with a bird nest in it down, I can't see that getting logs to the bank. I'm not sure if you have ever done much runecrafting or farming, but they usually require you to go pretty far from a bank, but then again runecrafting has pouches and farming leprechauns, but still farming would benefit from a seed bag or something similar.
  17. Newcomer maps barely cover all the Free player world, so that isn't much help. I think the dot telling you where you are would be a great idea, maybe one that could tell you where your friends are if they allowed it.
  18. Well apart from the fact EA mainly has rights to the film, and apart from the fact there is two Lord of the Rings films (if we count the trilogy as one massive film), the game War of the Ring has rights to the book and I remember there being a Fellowship of the Ring game that also had book rights. Also as xyrec said it is a parody, and as long as it is shown as a parody Tolkien Enterprises can't do nowt. Also I'd like to point out like Bubsa said: LotR is not a person, neither is Frankenstein or Romeo and Juliet. All three are fictional characters (I think there are claims R&J existed though), and their creators Shelley and Shakespeare respectively are both long dead, and means they funnily enough can't sue anyone. If it was done well, with 3 quests (one for each book) I'd probably get a good chuckle out of it. Though if there ever was a parody was done I'd hope they'd introduce black powder weaponry with "Blunte's Rifles" a ragtag band of the most polite gentlemen in all of Gilenor, unlikely to happen but I think it'd be great.
  19. Yup he did. But after how many trips or time does he ask his paycheck? I think it's every 7 trips or possibly 8, all servants require payment after doing 7 (could be 8, but I'm going with 7) jobs.
  20. Heh, this has inspired me to go back to having the music on, it's a great way of telling you where you are. Some of my favourites are: Undercurrant Waterfall Trinity Alls Fairy in Love and War Trouble Brewing Royale
  21. I'd say true female players are more likely to become more skill orientated, however, as most players are male, it's pretty hard to make a proper comparison.
  22. Why thank you heh, I might add the pic to the that costume thread now.
  23. Yeah, as a level 88 with 229 QPs, I know it could have been done at a much lower level. Best I've seen with my own eyes so far is 77, but I wouldn't be suprised if it could be done in the 60s.
