  1. Yes there is a clan that I used for most of my zeal. Check it out on the RSOF. They win 98% of their games. QF: 92-93-125-58465215 No the waiting period between games is only 3 minutes. The actual games are 20 minutes. You may get 'skipped' sometimes, which means there are so many players in the waiting room the game can't take all of theml, leaving some behind. If this is the case then you should continue waiting in that waiting room and hope you are accepted into the current game. If you are not accepted when the timer reaches 13 minutes til next game, you should hop to the other team's waiting room.
  2. You summed up my exact thoughts. I'm really dissapointed that jagex seems to have reverted to a 'one update every two weeks' policy. I liked it better when we got one, usually more than one, update a week. The endless list of miniture 'upgrades' don't seem to make up for the excitement of new content. Development diaries are unexciting, I can defintely agree with that. The problem is they keep stating information we already KNOW in the diaries (such as the fact that some different dungeons are actually right beside eachother). In past diaries it was a load of new content, new ideas, and new developments. The continuation of the dwarf quest was a predictable update, and the dungeon map update was one that had been mentioned several times since the release of an ingame world map. All these new miniture upgrades to existing content probably saves me about... a few seconds of gameplay a day, because they made some animations/actions faster. Pretty pathetic considering they've worked over four months on upgrades. The new CEO also needs to get this straight in his head: For rs players, New updates > Graphical improvements . It's always been like that... since the suckiest graphics in RSC. Oh PS nice job on the excellent thread. I was afraid no one agreed with me on these thoughts.
  3. Wow, I'm glad I'm encouraging people to come back to members. I think you should totally get members and kill 5k dragons. \
  4. Hey mario, Thanks for letting me use the data. I would have PMed you, but I figured a citation was good enough. I'm using 9.0 as the max zeal per hour because 3 games per hour 3 zeal per game = 9. Should I be using your value? As for the 10% multiplier, I left it out because I like to turn my points in 10 at a time (what can I say, I like instant gratification). I plan on making some revisions shortly, as well as adding the other styles (haha imagine a combat 3 with 99 slayer) Thanks for the input! :) A full game is 23 minutes (20 minutes for the round + 3 minute postgame period in between games), not 20 minutes. So instead of 60 minutes/20 minutes, you must do 60/23. This equals 2.6. Multiply this by 3 for max zeal per full game, and you get 7.8, the maximum possible zeal per hour. Also... another fact: 186 is the most zeal you can get in a 24 hour period. You should use the 1.1 multiplier. You'll end up getting hundreds of thousands of free experience if you cash in 100 zeal at once, opposed to 10 where you don't get any bonus. That would be the ideal choice for someone who wishes to train their skills at Soul Wars for a long period of time. Don't think I'm bashing your guide... I hope you don't think that. I am very excited about this guide, infact, and want to make sure it is very acurate. :)
  5. someone is bound to swallow it? Yeah. :| And the fact that it's for the most part, completely useless. Well, it's a relief to not have a full bladder though. That's the only good part - it makes the rioters feel good, like they've done something. Well the bad thing is Jagex actually listened to them once. Bad idea.
  6. Why do you need saradomin brews? I bring full guthans and a fire titan and I only have to eat two sharks per hour. If you've got a good team (which you should), they can kill it fast and you will only take around 20-60 damage, enough for guthans and the titan's scroll to heal. I only bring one prayer potion too, and last several hours.
  7. Thanks for using my guide for data, I appreciate it. : Are you using the value 7.8260869565217391304347826086957 for maxium possible zeal per hour? Also don't forget spending 100 zeal at once gets you a 10% bonus, so you should keep in mind that the zeal you get should actually be multiplied by 1.1. You should continue this with mage/range, prayer, and slayer. \
  8. I spent it all on strength because I love hitting high :P I got 97 with it then did PC for two days and got 99.
  9. Rangin'. And thanks kazel. I appreciate the support. :
  10. Not really exciting. They try to cover up the combat system by inserting ridiculous amounts of scenes where players are just randomly walking around (or sledding #-o ). Not to be rude, but I could make a much better video. I think they missed all the cool-looking scenes in Runescape. They could have showed a Bandos mass team, or perhaps world 145 at the obelisk in soul wars, or a player dueling Jad. All those scenes are much more attractice than... sledding...
  11. Had a great GWD day today. :D Went with a three world mass team and we got a few drops. It was ls and unfortunately none went to me but it was still cool. :P 1 bandos hilt 2 bandos boots 1 bandos tassets
  12. Well I knew it was a joke when the author said the phrase "But I play it responsibly." Playing runescape responsibly doesn't exist (let's face it runescape is frighteningly addictive with godlike powers), so obviously the author never even played runescape, probably just scimmed the Manual.
  13. How funny... the F2pers on the forum now appear to be more mature than the P2pers. Perhaps this 12.5M exp requirement should extend to members too? :)
  14. Oh I guess I forgot to mention that on first post. It took 145.6 hours.
  15. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll do that now.
  16. Nice blog and slayer goal. :P It's missing a bank picture though.
  17. Hmm well a few I can think off the top of my head: GWD Merchanting Pvp trick :| Rcing Aviansies A few low skill things: Flax Pure ess Anyway considering your current stats I'd say 99 cooking is an excellent achievement for your character. Don't give up!
  18. I vant to suck your blood :P I think the problem with your blog not being so popular is your goals are boring. No one wants to read about a 50 runecrafting goal (although that is a good level to be honest). You need to set some high goals or have multiple medium sized goals. Perhaps 85 mining or maybe all melee stats 80+? Besides that, nice f2p stats. :)
  19. Dang I never knew you were 86 mining... Good luck to 99 and don't give up (giving up is for losers)
  20. I would support it. :) Nice idea.
