  1. Blog eh? I think you should check it again you seem to be confused... :| Killing the pkers takes up alot of time, and by doing so you aren't even helping your runecrafting. Plus you take the chance of dying and they can always come back, some of those pkers are professionals and know what they're doing. Pkers easily get bored though, so if you just try the backway one time they will probably be gone the next time you go to the mage.
  2. Most teleblockers will snare you first and then follow up with a teleblock. The second you get snared you should teleport away(I assume you bring a teleport!). I learned this the hard way. :|
  3. The abyss is not in the wilderness, it's another dimension infact. This is exactly what I thought at first and it was really the only main reason that I didn't try it out. Now I know, and I'm making a great 275k an hour. Pkers are usually level 70-120, you will rarely see any out of that range(except for the strange level 20s that hang around the mage for hours for some unexplained reason). I will add that to the guide, which I am planning to make into a complete abyssal guide. Thanks for the suggestion. :) Brain- That's a really bad idea, no offense. Not only is the backway slower(and you should only use it to trick pkers into thinking you hopped, sneak past them hehe), but wearing nothing is a very bad idea. Any type of pker will kill so you so fast you don't know what hit you. Hopping worlds is usually the last thing you should resort to when trying to get rid of pkers, it wastes time. You better have that cursor over your one click teleport(I hope you have one!) when your running to the mage incase of attacks.
  4. That's actually a good suggestion... I'll have to try this sometime and see if it's worth cutting down the runecrafting time.
  5. You should seriously consider a questcape at your level. I had over 150 questpoints when I was a level 67 and I saw quests as fun and challenging. Recipe for disaster, monkey madness, mornings end part 2, and other such quests might be a challenge though, but you seem to be the person who likes that. The final fight in recipe would probably be one of the harder challenges for your level. I suggest though if you hit that quest you should super set and bring all your best equipment, along with your inventory stuffed with sharks and a one click teleport. I am happy to say I completed my all quests complete before combat 90 goal. I am a level 89 with the questcape, and I am proud to wear it and preform it's unique *awesome* emote. You should try for it!
  6. The only think I can think of that may be true is that people don't know about it. There is the other conclusion though that those hardcore slayers don't want to take their time to to quests or lack the rather high 57 herblore requirement(well I think it's pretty high!). There are also many other quests before this, like how to do Mornings End part 2 you must complete about 7 :uhh: quests before it. I HATE YOU MORNINGS END PART 2!!! Good thing I got it over with though... I have a shiny questcape now <3
  7. OH MY GOD THANK YOU. You made me laugh so hard when I read that second sentence! I love you, you are so funny.
  8. That article made me so mad I signed up to their forums and posted this to the writer: A fun pastime for gamers- that was the first part that caught my attention. What you failed to realized on your assumption of the runescape community is that some players view this world as a "second reality". Something that is not just a pastime, but another life for them. They can be whoever they want- maybe they can be a jerk at school but have the chance to start a new life and be kind(or vice versa). At my school, for example, I am viewed as a shy, average thinking person, but on tif(tip.it forums) and runescape I want to be viewed as a very intelligent wanting-to-go-out person(this could explain my full friend's list!). Now to the second point of your paragraph, I couldn't help notice your last sentence. I am seriously laughing at this sentence right now as I type mine. "Gambling", my god. Once again you assume way too much. Addiction? I suppose you just assume all players who play this fun online game are addicted? Oh now here's the real laugh- lying. Everyone lies, rs player or not. Get use to it. Yes here is something that first caught my attention "child oriented". Simply put, jagex cannot control the age limit on their game. They want you to be 13+ but they cannot force it, they don't have a camera set up to tell how old you are- they just expect you to tell the truth. Honestly though, there aren't that many 10- year olds. In fact I do believe the 18+ population is growing. There is also a second something that just makes me... tick. "What is jagex doing - or not doing - about it?". Must I repeat myself? You are assuming way too much. You probably don't even know how much jagex works their butts off(excuse me for the offensive language, but I felt that it calls for this situation) to get weekly updates. That's right, weekly. Most online games like WoW may not even get any in a month. Jagex works hard and sometimes they just don't have time to deal with stuff like age control. And what do you suggest they do with it? I don't see you coming up with any good suggestions. Please refer to my earlier column concerning the child influence. But now to the main point. I think your too stubborn to blame it on yourself. That's right- I think your the problem, not Runescape. If you really don't want your kids playing the game then get the off the damn computer for god's sake. It's not jagex's problem and I don't think it ever will be. Again I am going back to my point, jagex doesn't have time to see to everyone's need, they only try to see to the majority's needs. You obviously have no understanding on how a big company like Jagex works. The second to last and last paragraph just basically goes over everything else mentioned earlier, so I will not quote it.
  9. 90% of the people who claim they've been "scammed" or "hacked" are low levels who think it's funny to beg for items. For the 10 percent that did though I think we should not give any money to them(no offence to you), they should accept that they have been scammed and should learn. Personally I would like to say I am very proud of you, for I have not seen one person in the past three months accept that they have been scammed and they have learned. Most of these people whine and complaint and beg, while they could be earning money back up to replace the scam. I am sorry you got scammed too. :(
  10. OMG LOL U GOTZ SCAMD! YOU OFFRD 150K 4 D SPER AND I ONLE PUT UP 175K!!1!1!!! scamd... (to to let the public know I bought the d spear from drum :P ) I might go for full dragon, but right now I'm looking for a new goal to set. I've already completed all my 2007 goals  . At least one 99 skill, 10M cash, ring of stone, and all 9 dragon weapons. I thought I wouldn't make it  . EDIT: Doubling them actually sounds like a good idea... :-k
  11. Garanteed a good laugh thar :P
  12. Or you could do some simple math with an everyday calculator. :|
  13. Awws
  14. I did at 67, and it was super easy. except for the ice boss, so annoying! Seriously just because jagex said that one time that desert treasure is so far the "hardest" quest in the game doesn't mean it's like your up against Jad, it's just four level 100+ somethings, it's not that hard.
  15. I was wondering if I could use a cannon in pc. Will it appear in my inventory along with the balls after the game? Or would it stay there :uhh: ?
  16. You should get into runecrafting, I know the requirements are a bit high and you probably need 1M to start out to buy all the glories and d hide, but it REALLY pays off soon. I personally know this because I am a crafter myself, I make 275K an hour crafting nats via the abyss with 78 rcing. I suggest you refer to my guide if you need any help with those pesky pkers or some equiment advise. My guide does require you thought to have a basic understanding of this abyss. Oh and just to let you know if you are really fast you can make this kind of money: 44-49 rcing: 165K an hour 50-74 rcing: 210K an hour 75-90 rcing: 275K and hour 91+ rcing: 600K an hour
  17. God you don't know how long I've waited for an update like this. That would stink though if they cut it in half  . I was thinking something like 40-60, 60-80, 80-100, and 100+. That would be awesome
  18. I finally finished one of my 2007 goals. It looks so pretty in my bank. Worth a little more than 5M at current prices.
  19. You could try the sq'irk minigame, it gives lots of high level herbs. You could get really good at one garden and get lots of herbs fast. I usually get 3-5 rannars each round on the summer, I'm not sure about your thieving level though. :|

  21. Hi, I'm thinking about buying a dh axe. But I am confused about it's powers, the high hit low hp thing. Do you need the full set for this to work or not? Maybe certain parts of the clothing are parts of the powers? For example if you only had the axe youe would have 25% power, and with the headgear for example, 50%, ect. Thanks, mario
