  1. Exactly what I was about to say. I usually enjoy money-making skills over fun skills. Runecrafting, for example, is one of my favorite skills. Not only is dodging and teasing the occasional pker fun, but I am also making 270K an hour. Sometimes I use this money for "fun" stuff. Right now I am crafting 8k nats to purchase some blood and ice burst spells for one of my favorite minigames, castle wars. I've noticed alot of the money-making skills are higher than my "fun" skills. Construction, for example, is only 53 while fishing is 31 levels higher. Hunting I really think is the only exception, I love hunting and got it to 73. That's just my say.
  2. I've been a nat crafter for quite some time now and let me tell you for a fact rune prices will not go up, in fact blood runes will drop below 400ea is my estimation. I'm not exactly sure about pure essence, but I bet it will go up for about a week and then drop back down to it's original price when blood crafters see that they're not making enough money and stop buying ess. Then the miners will catch up to them and pure ess will return to its normal steady price of 100-115ea.
  3. Exactly the point.
  4. Not to stereotype, but most the low posters here are quite... unintelligent. Congratulations, you've proved that wrong :) , so far you seem like a very intelligent poster.
  5. I do not want to pressure you at all, but I think it would be nice if you didn't have to click on the item to see if it was tradable or not. If you could just see that it would be very helpful. :)
  6. I remember when I use to fish thousands of raw sharks and sell them when I was a lvl 67(I was a lvl 67 for four months strait!). At that time my fishing was 83, and it still is to this very day. When I discovered runecrafting via the abyss I thought of it just as a hobby until one day I calculated my money per hour. Wow... that was a suprise, 2 times more than sharks. So I set down my harpoon and bought a ton of rune ess(It was only one ess back in my days) and got crafting. I have never touched fishing since expect for one time where I caught 500 monkfish to raise slayer. Really I am like you, I barely ever work for my own raw materials. I'm all about money per hour. It takes a certain amount of time to mine pure ess and craft it when I could just buy it and make more money per hour. Now since I recently just recieved 75 runecrafting(now 77 :XD: ) I am making 270K an hour. That's getting off subject though. To me raising these "raw" material skills(woodcutting, mining, fishing) is only to raise my total. I am proud to say I am a level 89 with 1603 total and rising, and I don't intend to raise my combat anytime soon. Sure cutting magics might come in handy sometimes, sure mith might come in handy sometimes, sure sharks might come in handy, but those are skills I do not necessarly use to gather my own raw materials.
  7. Unless the situation really calls for ignoring, I don't think that's the best way to do it. Our job as high levels is to teach low levels not to do that kind of stuff. When I see a beggar I almost always tell them begging is bad and they will get nowhere in life with it. This way they will learn and slowly become the intelligent high levels we are today(some stay immature even when they hit high level though :x ). Then they will help a low level in need, and the cycle goes on(mentioned earlier in this topic).
  8. With the lack of wc autoers, it's effecting everything. Yew logs have gone up(I seriously remember when I could easily buy them for 270ea), therfore fletchers do not make enough money. So now yew longs are going up. Now alchers aren't making enough money. So now nats are going down( :( ). Bad for us runecrafters.
  9. just bedause its in edge doesn't neccesarily mean its a lure, pkers there always but pots and food. I totally agree with dragax100, I think it's your fault if you get lured. If I get an edgeville trade though I always bring teleports, snares, and food just in case. One time I bought a ring of stone for 4.8M from a guy. You barely see buyers for this ring and you don't see them paying that much, but I really wanted it fast and I found a seller. I told him to trade in edgeville but he got really paranoid and said fally east. :-k . Of course, I went there to trade and bought it. Not all trades in edgeville are lures.
  10. Anyone who's gone through that whole Plague storyline knows some of the quests were quite challenging, and I'm not even including the last one. ME part 2 was freeking hard, and that was just to get access to the death altar. For the blood I imagine it could be twice as hard :ohnoes: . I don't think it is the blood altar though, I was actually hoping for some sort of pouch item. Pouches are my friends. :
  11. I don't like it when people put "accepting free donations". It seems oddly like begging to me. Other than that, decent bank 7/10 Please calm down too, no need for profanity and caps.
  12. I was thinking that too, but they don't :( . So far I like the cocktrice and the buying them ideas. The trading bones for them could also work.
  13. How fast do they spawn?
  14. I tried that but honestly it's way too slow.
  15. Fairly cheap actually, I was expecting somewhere around 2k. Very well, I will buy them.
  16. I have recently reached the level of 55 herblore and have alot of kuarms in my bank. I am rather low on limps though. I am wondering if there is a good place to get limps or should I just buy them? If so, how much are they?
  17. If you click on a book rapidly as your running you won't change back. just wondering, could you explain this? I tried running as a monkey, quickly clicking on "A" book(one that you open and read)... but it wasn't working... coulda been due to the lag caused by the download I have going right now though  You go to ardy south bank, near the bank theres a book in a building. Go to the tree near the same bank and turn to a monkey. Click far off the mini map and rapidly click the book while you run and continue running and clicking the book. It's very hard to continue moving without changing back I believe that's considered bug abuse. Funny as it is, I'm not going to add it to the main post as I don't want to get into any trouble.
  18. If someone could explain that prank in detail step-by-step I could add it to the main post. :|
  19. Wow, that's almost exactly what I was about to post, congratulations. I like the hopping idea, that would be awesome! :P
  20. Mmmm yea probably. You could also plant some watermelons and high level fruit trees while you wait.
  21. Very funny quest, I loved it, it was so funny. I'm glad I can re-equip my questcape now. :P
  22. Bump, added a couple more that I thought were good pranks.
  23. very, very true. I think the general runescape population is trickling into tip.it, slowly but surely. Sad yet true.
