Being an IT thechie first things first. Does the computer get energy? When you push the button, the fans start and all that? Does the computer boot? I mean ...do you push the button and you hear a beep from the computer? If it doesnt boot the BIOS (the black screen just before the windows logo or whatever) it can be lots of different things. Before testing all this, just unplug everything from your computer (except the ram and the graphic card) Try to remove the ram sticks, if the computer starts acting crazy with beeps all around, its a good sign (the board and processor is working and detect theres something missing) If youre not confortable doing this things, better take it to a store.
